Abstract This article deals with monitoring the stability of the geodetic base Skalka. Introduction of the article briefly describes the history and purpose of the geodetic base Skalka, gradually resulting in the current characteristics of the base. Main part of the article deals with monitoring the stability of points of the inner and partly outer part of the base. The result is the evaluation of performed geodetic works with the assessment of the testing base stability. Identified vertical and horizontal shifts show that the base can be considered stable in terms of both geological and geodetic points of view.

Evaluation Methods of Swot Analysis / Metody Vyhodnocení Swot Analýzy

Michal Vaněk; Milan Mikoláš; Kateřina Žváková

Abstract Strategic management is an integral part of top management. By formulating the right strategy and its subsequent implementation, a managed organization can attract and retain a comparative advantage. In order to fulfil this expectation, the strategy also has to be supported with relevant findings of performed strategic analyses. The best known and probably the most common of these is a SWOT analysis. In practice, however, the analysis is reduced to mere presentation of influence factors, which does not allow more precise determination of a strategic concept. The content of the article tries to remove this drawback, submitting for public discussion two possible approaches to evaluate the SWOT analysis providing important information for the selection process of an organizations strategic orientation.

Comparison of Tacheometry and Laser Scanning Methods for Measuring the Quarry in Jakubčovice Nad Odrou / Porovnání Tachymetrie A Laserového Skenování Při Zaměření Části Lomu V Jakubčovicích Nad Odrou

Václav Smítka; Milan Mikoláš

Abstract The presented this method is more efficient for surveying a site. Part of this is the calculation of the volumes of excavated muck using 3D models and their comparison. The comparison of the measurements of part of the quarry in Jakubčovice nad Odrou using the tacheometry and laser scanning techniques was performed. The final assessment was in favour of the laser scanning method which provides capturing the entire object surface with a chosen level of detail compared to the tacheometry method, in which only characteristic points of the measured object, such as edges, are captured.

TESTING THE EFFECT OF UNDERMINING ON POSITIONAL ACCURACY OF THE DIGITAL TECHNICAL MAP OF OSTRAVA IN THE PŘÍVOZ CADASTRAL DISTRICT

Milan Mikoláš; Jiří Žváček; Michal Vaněk; Roman Donocik; Václav Sotorník

Abstract Intensive underground exploitation took place in the area of the Ostrava corporate town in recent past. After the coal mining was shut down in 1994 gradual subsidence in the town area has slowed down, however, establishing of the Digital Technical Map of Ostrava (DTMMO) dates back to 1992. When working a seam the original geostatic and tectonic stress state in the surrounding rock mass changes, which is accompanied by rock transformation and displacement from the roof towards the stope. Undermining is manifested in landscape morphology in many different ways that we can divide to continuous and discontinuous deformations. Residual mining effects could therefore have impacted positional accuracy of DTMMO in the last 18 years. The Bohumin 8-9/43 topographic sheet was selected for testing purposes in the Přivoz cadastral district.

SHIFTS OF TRIGONOMETRIC POINTS IN THE AREA AFFECTED BY MINING ACTIVITIES POSUNY TRIGONOMETRICKÝCH BODŮ NA ÚZEMÍ OVLIVNĚNÉM HORNICKOU ČINNOSTÍ

Marek Mikoláš; Milan Mikoláš

Abstract In the underground mining of deposits, except the subsidence of layers also a horizontal shift occurs. The shift of trigonometric points is detected by the renewal of network. Formerly, the new triangulation of the overall area of interest has been carried out and since 1991 with the onset of modern observation techniques the GNSS technology has been used in full, which is not so time-consuming and economically demanding as triangulation works. Abstrakt Při hlubinném dobývání ložisek nastává nejen sedání vrstev, nýbrž i vodorovný posun.

The calibration of a digital camera for the purposes of processing a three-dimensional model of an object was performed under the PhotoModeler program. Prior to creating a three-dimensional model of an object, the digital camera needs to be calibrated. Calibration is the verification of the data the measuring device provides. The creation of any three-dimensional object requires the calibration of the photogrammetric unit. The above resulted in picturing a 3D view and a calibration protocol containing the elements of the internal orientation and the photographic device.
