This is a reflexive article which aimed to reunite some conceptual frameworks of bioethics and reflect on the relationship of this discipline with the nursing education process. In the course of this reflection, it was possible to affirm that a minimal relevant and updated theoretical and philosophical foundational is essential to the nurses ethical education from the professors who teach this discipline in order to transpose strictly normative and deontological discussions. Beyond this, there is an urgent need to articulate bioethics instruction with professional nursing daily practice. In order to do so, the use of active strategies to address everyday problems and the transversality of teaching emerge as possibilities for producing changes and contextualizing the teaching of this subject area with educational and social contemporary demands.Ensaio reflexivo que visa reunir alguns marcos conceituais da bioetica e refletir sobre a relacao desta disciplina com o processo de formacao do enfermeiro. No transcorrer desta reflexao, foi possivel constatar que e essencial para a formacao etica do enfermeiro a fundamentacao teorica e filosofica minima, pertinente e atualizada, dos docentes que lecionam neste campo disciplinar, de modo a transpor discussoes que sejam restritas ao âmbito normativo e deontologico. Alem disso, urge a necessidade de articular o ensino da bioetica com a pratica cotidiana do exercicio profissional da enfermagem. Para isso, o uso de estrategias ativas para abordagem dos problemas do cotidiano e a transversalidade do ensino emergem como possibilidades de produzir mudancas e contextualizar o ensino deste campo disciplinar com as demandas educacionais e sociais contemporâneas.

Esta es revision integradora que analiza la produccion cientifica nacional acerca de la promocion de la salud y practica de la enfermera en la atencion primaria. Con el desarrollo del estudio, se encontro que la discusion de este tema es poco explorada en la enfermeria y que y la promocion de la salud sigue siendo entendida como sinonimo de educacion para la salud y / o de prevencion de enfermedades. Se concluye que la educacion para la salud es una estrategia esencial para el logro de promocion de la salud, con el entendimiento de que una no se limita a otra. Tambien es necesario que las enfermeras reconocen la promocion de la salud como un campo de praxis que puede transformar la realidad social y su propia practica.This is an integrative review that examines the national scientific production on health promotion and nurses practice in the field of primary health care. With the development of the study, it was found that the discussion of this theme is little explored in nursing and that health promotion is still understood as synonymous of health education and / or prevention of disease. It is concluded that health education is an essential strategy to achieve the health promotion, understanding that one is not restricted to the other. Moreover, it is necessary that nurses recognize health promotion as a field of practice can transform social reality and their own practice.

Objective: To identify and to describe the bibliographic sources used by professors in the teaching of Ethics/Bioethics in nursing undergraduate courses, in nursing schools, in Salvador, Bahia. Methods: This is an exploratory and quantitative study. The data analysis was done in three stages and was guided by the themes: Ethics, Bioethics and Professional Practice. Results: The analysis of data from five courses showed that teachers use material that includes aspects related to: deontology, practice of nursing, Bioethics and Ethics foundations. This is a clinical case study developed during the practical activities of the discipline Surgical Clinical Nursing I, of course of Graduation in Nursing of a public university of Bahia State, that aimed to report the application of the Systematization of Nursing Assistance in the assistance to a client whit Diabetes Mellitus and Chronic Renal Insufficiency. With the development of the study, especially after the positive improvement of the client, face to assistance planned and implemented and considering the reflections that emerged, it was possible to evidence the need for interface between Systematization of Nursing Assistance, the nursing staff and client in the care process, at the excellence and uniqueness of nursing care.Tratou-se de um estudo de caso clinico desenvolvido durante as atividades praticas da disciplina Enfermagem Clinico-Cirurgica I, do curso de Graduacao em Enfermagem de uma universidade publica do Estado da Bahia, que objetivou relatar a aplicacao da Sistematizacao da Assistencia de Enfermagem na assistencia a um paciente portador de Diabetes Mellitus e Insuficiencia Renal Cronica. Com o desenvolvimento do estudo, em especial apos a melhora positiva da paciente face as condutas planejadas e implementadas e, considerando as reflexoes que emergiram, foi possivel constatar a necessidade da interface entre a Sistematizacao da Assistencia de Enfermagem, equipe de enfermagem e paciente no processo do cuidar, frente a excelencia e singularidade dos cuidados de enfermagem

Objective: To reflect upon the professional autonomy of nurses within the biomedical care model. Methods: This study will analyze the issue based on the reflection built from the theoretical reference regarding the work in the area of health and in nursing. Results: It was identified that in the biomedical model, the professional autonomy of the nurse is limited and conditioned by the decisions of the physician (in which the work process command the use of roles and health services), due to a fragile construction of a body of understandings linked to the profession, and because of the growing technical division of work in health and in nursing. Conclusion: The nurse can widen his/her professional autonomy in other care models that enable the construction of knowledge related to the field of nursing, such as the areas of Mental Health, Obstetrics, and Primary Health Care. These are areas destined to the nurse to develop his/her own autonomous professional practice, consonant to the holistic care in health care.Objetivo: Refletir sobre a autonomia profissional da enfermeira no contexto do modelo assistencial biomedico. Metodos: Reflexao construida a partir do referencial teorico sobre o processo de trabalho em saude e em enfermagem. Resultados: Identificou-se que no modelo biomedico a autonomia profissional da enfermeira e limitada e condicionada pelas decisoes do profissional medico (cujo processo de trabalho ordena o consumo de acoes e servicos de saude), pela fragil construcao de um corpo de saberes proprio a profissao e pela crescente divisao tecnica do trabalho em saude e em enfermagem. Conclusao: A enfermeira podera ampliar sua autonomia profissional em outros modelos assistenciais que permitam a construcao de saberes proprios ao campo da enfermagem, como os campos da Saude Mental, da Obstetricia e da Atencao Primaria em Saude. Esses sao espacos propicios para a enfermeira desenvolver uma pratica profissional autonoma e consoante com o cuidado integral em saude.
