Abstract Three new lycoctonine-type diterpene alkaloids peregrine alcohol, pergilone and delphiperegrine were isolated from the aerial parts of Delphinium peregrinum . The structures were established by spectral and chemical data.

Diterpenoid alkaloids from Delphinium crispulum

Abstract From the aerial parts of Delphinium crispulum five known norditerpenoid alkaloids, deltatsine, browniine, karakoline, ezochasmanine and isotalatizidine, and the C20 alkaloid hetisine as well as two new compounds, crispulidine and delphicrispuline, were isolated. Structures of the newly isolated alkaloids were established by spectroscopic methods.

3-Hydroxytalatisamine from Aconitum nasutum

Together with five known alkaloids, a new norditerpenoid alkaloid was isolated from the above-ground parts of Aconitum nasutum. The new compound was identified as 3-hydroxytalatisamine on the basis of 1D and 2D NMR techniques.

Abstract Three new lycoctonine-type diterpene alkaloids, 14-O-methylperegrine, N-deethyl-14-O-methylperegrine and guenerin were isolated from the aerial parts of Delphinium gueneri together with the known compounds, peregrine, peregrine alcohol, talatisamine and 14-acetylneoline. The structures were established by spectral data and some chemical reactions.

Abstract Aerial parts of Delphinium fissum subsp. anatolicum yielded two new hetisan-type alkaloids, fissumine and delfissinol, in addition to two known C 20 , and one C 19 , diterpene alkaloids, hetisine, hetisinone and lycoctonine, respectively.

Abstract The aerial parts of Haplophyllum thesioides yielded a new alkaloid, thenaptosine [4,5-dimethoxy-11-metriylfuro(2,3-c)acridin-6(15H)-on] and a new coumarin, thesiolen (4-methoxyangelicin) in addition to known alkaloids, kokusaginine, skimmianine, pteleine, nkolbisine, heliparvifoline and flindersine as well as known coumarins, seseline, scaporon and angustifolin.

Aromatic compounds from Delphinium venulosum

Abstract From the non-alkaloidal fractions of Delphinium venulosum, four known aromatic compounds cis and trans p-coumaric acids, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, protocatechuic acid methyl ester and a new aromatic compound 2,5,6-trihydroxypiperonylic acid methyl ester were isolated together with kaempferol, sitosterol and sitosteryl 3-glucoside. The structures of the compounds were established by spectral data.

Norditerpenoid alkaloids of Delphinium munzianum

Five new norditerpenoid alkaloids, 14-O-benzoylperegrine, 14-O-acetylperegrine, munzinanone, munzianine and 10-hydroxyperegrine, together with peregrine and 14-O-methylperegrine, were isolated from Delphinium munzianum. The structures of the new alkaloids were elucidated mainly by NMR spectroscopy, including 2-D techniques, and partial synthesis starting from peregrine.
