This article aims to investigate how Pronaf (National Program for the Strengthening of Family Farming) is defined and assessed by the Brazilian government in order to deconstruct any causal relationship between development and recognition that may exist in the information about the program. The methodology used was a review of official data on Pronaf, which directed the questions about the volume of funds available for credit, as well as on the distribution of these between groups of beneficiaries and regions in Brazil. As main results, it is highlighted that only the redistribution of resources is not sufficient for the recognition of farmers.

This article examines two methodological practices to support the participation in the spaces of Managers Councils of Public Policies: action research and dialogical mediation. More specifically, we intend to consider whether and how such practices may be stimulating the emergence of communicative action among the participatory institutional designs of the Councils. In order to do it, a study was done in the Municipal Council for Sustainable Rural Development of Vicosa - MG (CMDRS). The theoretical basis of the article is based on the discussion of legitimacy and participation within the deliberative democracy; the methodology used is based on a combination of documental and qualitative researches. As main results, it is understood that such methodological practices constitute, depending on how they are used, as important qualification mechanisms of formal participatory spaces.

This paper recognizes the public dialogue as a democratic imperative addressed to the scientific contexts of the recent complex and pluralistic societies, and aims to analyze how is it possible to build an organizational communication policy guided by the notion of public communication of science in contemporary settings of the scientific institutions. The methodology used in the article was the bibliographic research, which guided the search for studies on public communication of science, the search about organizational Communication studies in democratic contexts and a survey of the general theoretical foundations that support the explanatory horizon now proposed. As a main result, it is evident that the field of Organizational Communication can provide answers to scientific institutions from the construction of a Communication policy that encourages, accept and administer the public dialogue, in line with efforts focused on public communication of science.

This work acknowledges the exhaustion of the causality relationship between strategic communication and dengue control and aims to understand communication within public scenarios for combating the disease. Thus, it considers the strategic aspect of communication but at the same time, does not take it as the single category - or as a central category - in the communicational dimension of the public problem of dengue. The methodology used in the article was bibliographic research. This research method guided the search for studies on communication and dengue control and the survey of the general theoretical foundations that support the proposed explicative frame. The main result shows that the communicational dimension of the public problem of dengue is constituted by strategic aspects and by unusual, unpredicted and uncontrollable aspects. These characteristics compose a public scenario of experiences that can neither be completely understood nor anticipated. In conclusion, this work proposes five relational assumptions for communication strategies in public scenarios of dengue experiences.
