The proposal of a new motor which has a high winding factor and a high slot fill factor

In this paper, we propose a new motor which has a high winding factor and a high slot fill factor. A motor with concentrated windings has a high slot fill factor, but a winding factor is low. On the other hand, a motor with distributed windings has a high winding factor, but a slot fill factor is low. To get both good features, the proposal motor has a new distributed winding stator that can be flat band-shaped without dividing windings and can be easy to wind.

Development of a new motor with 3-dimensional magnetic circuit and loop windings

In this paper, we propose a new three phase synchronous motor that has three 3-dimensional stators with claw teeth and two loop windings. Although the motor has only two windings, it can generate a constant torque with three phase inverter. We show the principle of the motor and the evaluation result of a prototype motor.
