Sergey Butyrin; V. P. Makarov; R. R. Mukumov; Yevgeny Somov; Stanislav N. Vassilyev

In the aspect of further development of investigations in automatic theorem proving, complicated systems modeling and analysis of their control systems and making such systems more intelligent, we consider problems of elaboration of a hybrid expert system (ES) for design of gyromoment system of attitude control for spacecraft.

Stability Analysis of Nonlinear Switched Systems Via Reduction Method

Stanislav N. Vassilyev; Alexander Kosov; Alexander I. Malikov

Abstract Stability of nonlinear switched systems is discussed. A method of constructing the common (scalar and vector) Lyapunov functions is proposed for switched systems whose equations have homogenous right-hand sides and for switched large-scale systems containing homogeneous subsystems. With the aid of homomorphic mapping the problem of stability for nonhomogeneous nonlinear systems is reduced to an auxiliary problem, which is easier to analyze. Matrix homomorphism is used for the purpose of ellipsoidal estimation of nonlinear dynamics of the polynomial class of systems. Certain applications are mentioned.

Adaptive Approach to Developing Advanced DISTRIBUTED E-LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM for Manufacturing

Stanislav N. Vassilyev; Gennady Degtyarev; Valery Kozlov; Nikolai Malivanov; Rustem A. Sabitov; Shamil Sabitov; Rifkat Sirazetdinov

Abstract This paper introduces a new Learning management system operation algorithm aimed at solving a variety of educational problems. The approach allows specifying a convenient form for the learning process as a control system in a generic form. Adaptability and the use of feedback in a learning system provide individual training of each student per a unique program with inter-subject links in the context of his/her personal abilities.

Stability in small signals investigation of nonlinear dynamic power systems

Stanislav N. Vassilyev; Igor B. Yadikin; Nataliya N. Bakhtadze; Vladimir A. Lototsky

Abstract The new technique of Frobenius norm calculation of Gramians, sub-Gramians and transfer functions of electric power systems (EPS) is suggested. It is based on spectral expansion of gramian by combinational modes of dynamic matrix of EPS predicting model. It is more effective comparing to modal analysis as it allows to prescribe the criterion of EPS stability loss risk, and also to evaluate the interaction of ill-stable system modes. The suggested approach has a transparent physical interpretation, i.e., stability loss risk corresponds to the energy of ill-stable modes group. The predicting model is formed basing on associative search technique for nonlinear dynamic plants.

Intelligent control via new efficient logics

Stanislav N. Vassilyev; Artem Davydov; Alexander K. Zherlov

Abstract An approach to devising the upper level of control systems for multiagent systems has been developed. Problems related to automation of action planning, including those bound up with the mode of cooperative mission performance, are considered. A new efficient logic apparatus for intelligent control is proposed.

Telescope guidance via automatic theorem proving

Evgeny A. Cherkashin; Stanislav N. Vassilyev

The problem of real-time intelligent guidance of a telescope to the center of a planet in non-full phase is considered. A new logical first-order language of positively constructed formulae and its calculus are used as a logical instrument for deriving the control. Such an approach allows the characteristics of control systems to be improved. The authors consider in detail the control synthesis on the basis of an automatic refutation technique in time-driven and temporal reasoning modes.

The method of synthesis of derivability conditions for Horn formulas and some other formulas

Stanislav N. Vassilyev

A method is given for synthesis of derivability conditions for formulas whose negations can be represented as Horn-type or as disjunctions of Horn-type formulas. These conditions are generated as solutions of the logical equation and are necessary if the process of inference and synthesis is finite and if the synthesis is applied only when the inference cannot be continued. The method restricts the combinatorial space of theorem synthesis by logical equations which bring substantial reduction of combinatorics. Special conditions of mutual compatibility between known members of the equation need not be satisfied a priori. Sufficiently pithy conditions satisfying some compromise between the criteria of deductive unimprovability (necessity) and simple verification of satisfiability are obtained. This paper also has some interrelations with inductive logic programming, which is defined as the method of extending the set of axioms of a particular theory such that the extended theory would be able to explain an assigned set of examples.

Logical approach to control theory and applications

Stanislav N. Vassilyev

Abstract Logical methods for analysis and modelling the controlled systems in discrete time are considered. The methods of automatic theorem proving (ATP) and synthesis with applications to real-time control, hypothesis generation and nonlinear analysis of automata dynamics are described.

Prerequisites and Development Lines of Control Systems for UES of Russia

Nikolai I. Voropai; M.L. Korolev; D.A. Novitsky; Stanislav N. Vassilyev; Igor B. Yadykin

Abstract Unified Electric Power System of Russia (UEPS) is very complicated, rapidly growing and ever changing operating entity. Control of this system should also change in order to take into account modern requirements and trends in development of this system and opportunities, created by new technologies. This paper presents main tendencies in development of generation control of UEPS in nearest future and structural flow chart of automatic control of operation of this system. Higher–priority development objective is formulated – full automated control system based on modern information technologies.
