Farklı Tane Mısır (Zea mays L.) Çeşitlerinin Besleme Değerlerinin Belirlenmesi

Bu arastirma Igdir Universitesi Ziraat Fakultesi deneme alanlarinda 10 adet RX-9292, SHEMALL, OSSK-602, 71 MAY 69, OSSK-596, OSSK-644, TK-6063, 72-MAY-80, HIDO ve TK-6060 misir cesidi kullanilarak tesaduf bloklari deneme desenine gore uc tekrarlamali olarak kurulmustur. Arastirmada kullanilan misir cesitlerinin tanelerinde ham protein (HP), notr deterjan lif (NDF), asit deterjan lif (ADF), asit deterjan lignin (ADL), kuru madde sindirilebilirligi (KMS), sindirilebilir enerji (SE), metabolik enerji (ME), kuru madde tuketimi (KMT), nispi yem degeri (NYD) belirlenmistir. Arastirma sonuclara gore en yuksek ham protein oranlari RX-9292, SHEMALL, OSSK-602 ve 71 MAY 69 cesitlerinden elde edilmistir. En dusuk NDF ve ADF oranlari sirasiyla %26.8 ve %2.72 olarak 71 MAY 69 cesidinden elde edilmistir. Bunun birlikte en yuksek kuru madde sindirilebilirligi % 86.8, sindirilebilir enerji degeri 3.98 Mcal kg-1 , metabolik enerji degeri 3.27 Mcal kg-1 ve en yuksek KMT (Kuru madde tuketim orani), %4.54 ve nispi yem degeri en yuksek 305.5 olan 71 MAY 69 cesidi hayvan besleme icin onerilebilir.

STUDIES ON THE ADAPTATION OF QUINOA (CHENOPODIUM QUINOA WILLD.) TO EASTERN ANATOLIA REGION OF TURKEY

Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.), an Andean crop, is native food plant of high nutritional value and its cultivation is increasing rapidly in the World. Background studies should be conducted on the determination of appropriate quinoa varieties for different ecologies for its cultivation to become widespread in a healthy way. This study was conducted in 2015 and 2016 in Erzurum and Igdir non-irrigation conditions in the Eastern Anatolia of Turkey. The locations have different ecological characteristics from each other. The field experiments were conducted with 9 varieties in each location in a randomized complete blocks experimental design with four replications. The grain yield and some related characteristics were examined in the study. The grain yield and related characteristics of quinoa varied significantly depending on varieties and locations in the study. According to the two-year results, quinoa cultivation is a risky in Erzurum which has a high altitude and short vegetation period. The grain yields ranged between 110-599 kg ha and was found to be quite low. In the Igdır location, 933-1646 kg ha of seed yield was obtained from the varieties. The earliest cultivar is Q-52, it has matured in Erzurum at 102 days, Igdir at 118 days. The latest maturation (138 days) was determined in the Oro de Valle cultivar in Igdir conditions. According to these results, moqu Arrochilla, Q-52, Oro de Valle, French Vanilla and Rainbow cultivars can be recommended for non-irrigated conditions of these locations provided that it is seeded early in the spring. However, Erzurum and similar locations are not suitable for the agriculture of this plant due to short plant growing period.

Farklı Toprak Özelliklerinin Taban Çayırların Floristik Kompozisyonu Üzerine Etkisi

Bir bolgede cayir ve mera alanlari ile ilgili uygun islah ve yonetim calismalarinin uygulanabilmesi icin, oncelikle mevcut formasyonlarin (vejetasyonlarin) tur bilesiminin tespit edilmesi gerekmektedir. Igdir ovasinin tuz etkisine maruz kalan taban arazilerinin buyuk bir kisminda tarla tarimi yapilamamakta ve otlatilarak (mera) ya da bicilerek (cayir) degerlendirilmektedir. Bu calisma daha once bitki ortusu hakkinda hic calisma yapilmamis, toprak tuzlulugundan farkli duzeyde etkilenmis dogal kurak taban cayir kesimlerinin tur bilesimini ve aralarindaki farkliliklari tespit etmek ve sonrasinda yapilacak calismalara altlik olusturmak amaciyla yurutulmustur. Calismada 2012 ve 2013 yillarinda dort cayir kesiminde (tuzluluk problemi olmayan (EC=0.4 dS/m, DSY=%4.3), tuzlu (EC=4.82 dS/m, DSY=%11.6), alkali (EC=1.48 dS/m, DSY=%39.1) ve tuzlu-alkali (EC=4.31 dS/m, DSY=%39.7) hâkim turlerin ciceklenme donemi sonunda Quadrat yontemi (0.5 x 0.5=0.25 m 2 ) kullanilarak vejetasyon olcumleri yapilmistir. Buna gore tuzluluk problemi olmayan cayir kesiminde 39, tuzluluk sorunu olan cayir kesiminde 41, alkalilik sorunu olan cayir kesiminde 38 ve tuzluluk ve alkalilik sorunu olan cayir kesiminde 26 tur tespit edilmistir. Calisma sonucunda cayir kesimlerinin tur bilesimlerinin ozellikle familya bazinda farklilik gosterdigi, normal kosullara gore tuz etkisinde kalmis cayir kesimlerinde baklagil tur sayisinin daha az oldugu ve hayvanlar tarafindan daha az tercih edilen tur sayinin artigi belirlenmistir.
