The aim of this study was to understand the perception of families about the actions developed by them in the search for social reintegration of their crack addict relative. This is a qualitative study conducted with 10 family members of crack-addicted individuals who were hospitalized in a detoxification treatment unit of psychoactive substances. Data were collected in April and May 2011, through the focus group technique and categorization was based on content analysis. Family members contribute significantly to the social reintegration of their relative, they feel co-responsible for their treatment, and therefore they guide them in the search for a new path. Families play an essential role in the life of drug-addicted relatives and are aware that they must be present in the relative’s life, constantly seeking strategies to help them and support them in coping with their suffering and treatment. REINSERCIÓN SOCIAL DE LA PERSONA DEPENDIENTE DE CRACK: ACCIONES DESARROLLADAS POR LA FAMILIA RESUMEN: El objetivo de este estudio es estudiar la percepción de la familia acerca de sus medidas tomadas en busca de la reinserción social de su familiar dependiente de crack. Investigación cualitativa realizada con 10 miembros de la familia de los individuos dependientes de crack ingresados en un planta de tratamiento de desintoxicación de sustancias psicoactivas. Los datos fueron recolectados en abril y mayo de 2011, través de la técnica de grupo focal y la categorización se basó en el análisis de contenido. Los familiares contribuyen significativamente a la reinserción social de su familiar, se sienten co-responsables por su tratamiento y orientan para que el busqué un nuevo camino. La familia tiene un papel importante en la vida del dependiente de crack y se da cuenta de que debe estar presente en su vida, en constante búsqueda de estrategias para ayudarle y apoyarle en hacer frente a su sufrimiento y de su tratamiento. Doi: 10.5902/2179769211264 Aim: to describe the circumstances that cause financial burden experienced by family caregivers of addicted individuals. Method: descriptive and exploratory qualitative research. The study included 11 family caregivers of addicted individuals attending a Psychosocial Care Center for alcohol and other drugs. The data were collected through individual interviews, which were open and recorded. For data analysis, the thematic Content Analysis was adopted. Results: addiction causes damage and financial difficulties for the family. Still, it jeopardizes family relationships and generates physical and psychological overloading for the caregiver. Conclusion: living together with a chemically dependent individual influences in the economic situation of the family and, thus, reflects in family and social relationships, causing different damages to the family.

Doi: 10.5902/2179769211067 Aim: to know the perception of professional members of a multiprofessional residence about permanent education in health. Method: the study is characterized as a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research, type case study, conducted through field observation, documentary research and semi-structured interview, with 17 professionals members of a multiprofessional residence. Results: the evidence shows that the multiprofessional residence in health it’s a space that enables integration theory and practice as a trigger of Continuing Education in Health, which, in turn, is articulated by segments of attention for the production and management of health. Conclusion: it’s highlightened the perception of permant education beyond a punctual perspective, being trigged by spaces in which the actors discuss about permanent education, so that it can contribute to the development of competencies to act on the Public Health System.

As doencas cardiovasculares representam as maiores causadoras de obitos em paises desenvolvidos e subdesenvolvidos.Na medida em que a mulher inicia no mercado de trabalho, tornam-se mais susceptiveis a exposicao aosmaus habitos alimentares, ao fumo e ao estresse da vida moderna. Objetivo: Analisar os artigos cientificos publicadossobre a mortalidade de mulheres em decorrencia de doencas cardiovasculares, conhecer os principais fatorescontribuintes para a mortalidade em mulheres devido a doencas cardiovasculares, alem de relacionar as mudancas noestilo de vida as mudancas do perfil epidemiologico no Brasil. Metodo: Trata-se de uma revisao bibliografica sobrea “mortalidade de mulheres por doencas cardiovasculares”. Os artigos foram obtidos atraves da revisao bibliograficanas bases de dados Lilacs e Scielo. Conclusao: Identificamos a importância da enfermagem nesse contexto no âmbitoda educacao em saude, alem de analisarmos os fatores de risco cardiovasculares.

A insuficiencia renal cronica e a hemodialise causam situacoes que comprometem o aspecto fisico e psicologico do individuo acometido, uma vez que ele vivencia mudancas em sua vida e convive com limitacoes. Consequentemente,esse paciente utiliza modos para enfrentamento dos estressores que a doenca implica, a fim de melhorar sua qualidade de vida. O estudo caracteriza-se por ser uma revisao bibliografica que objetiva refletir sobre stress e coping em pacientes em tratamento hemodialitico e as possiveis implicacoes na qualidade de vida, realizada nas bases dedados Scielo e Lilacs, utilizando-se artigos cientificos publicados de 2007 a 2011. Foram selecionados quatorze artigos, os quais foram analisados e agrupados nas seguintes categorias: A Doenca Renal Cronica e o tratamentohemodialitico como causadores de stress; Coping (estrategias de enfrentamento) em pacientes em tratamento hemodialitico;Qualidade de vida de pacientes hemodialiticos.
