Objetivo: Comprender el significado del uso de psicofarmacos por parte de personas con enfermedad mental. Metodos: Estudio cualitativo, descriptivo, realizado entre abril y mayo de 2012, en una clinica de consulta externa de un hospital universitario. Para el analisis de los datos, se utilizo el software Atlas Ti 6.2 y el Analisis de Contenido Tematico de Minayo para la interpretacion de los datos. Resultados: Emergieron dos categorias: el uso de drogas psicotropicas como posibilidad de una vida normal; y la importancia de utilizar esas sustancias para la promocion de la salud fisica y mental. Conclusion: El uso de psicofarmacos para los usuarios del ambulatorio supone la aceptacion del mismo delante de la sociedad, considerandolo promotor de la inclusion social. A partir de los testimonios de las personas, se revelaron nuevos significados sobre la relacion medicacion-paciente psiquiatrico, que propiciaron la apreciacion del uso de estos farmacos.Objective: The aim of this study was to understand the significance of the use of psychopharmacology by individuals with mental illness, users of outpatient psychotropic service. Methods: A descriptive study with a qualitative approach, conducted in April and May 2012 in an outpatient clinic of a university hospital. For the data analysis was used Software Atlas Ti 6.2 and for data interpretation Thematic Content Analysis of Minayo. Results: There were two broad categories: Use of psychotropic drugs as possibility of a normal life and importance of using medications as promoting physical and mental health. Conclusion: The use of psychopharmacology for users of outpatient constitute the acceptance of the same in society, these are considered promoters of social reinsertion. From the testimonies of individuals revealed up new meanings regarding patient medication in psychiatry, towards an appreciation of the use of these drugs.

This research aims to identify the perception of professional members ofa multi-professional residency program on Permanent Health Education. It is a case study research using a qualitative approach, with sixteen members of a multi-professional residency program. The data were collected from January to May 2012, through semi-structured interviews, document analysis and systematic observation, and analyzed according to Thematic Content Analysis. Two categories were identified: Permanent Health Education establishing collective spaces of reflection of practices and Permanent Health Education that promotes integration between disciplines. The members of the multiprofessional residencyteam were found to be aware that permanent education permeates theirtraining and enables reflection on their clinical practices and multidisciplinary action as producers of health actions.

El objetivo fue comprender como la Educacion Permanente en Salud es desarrollada en el cotidiano de los profesionales de una residencia multiprofesional en salud, en un hospital de ensenanza en el sur de Brasil. Investigacion cualitativa, del tipo estudio de caso, con 16 profesionales. Los resultados muestran la residencia multiprofesional como instituidora de espacios colectivos posibilitando encuentros entre sujetos que desarrollan sus acciones fundamentadas en una formacion pedagogica pautadas en la educacion permanente. Se concluye que a partir de eso los integrantes de la residencia tienen la posibilidad de pensar otros modos de producir salud, incentivando la busqueda por las transformaciones de las practicas de actuacion para pensar en nuevas posibilidades de acciones en salud.The objective in this study is to understand how Continuing Education in Health is developed in the everyday life of professionals in a multi-professional residency program in health at a teaching hospital in the South of Brazil. Qualitative research with a case study design, involving 16 professionals. The results show that the multi-professional residency program establishes collective spaces, as it permits encounters among subject who develop their actions based on pedagogical training and guided by continuing education. It is concluded that the participants in the residency program can think about other ways of producing health, encouraging the search for transformations of the operating practices to produce new actions in health.
