O luto no processo de aborto provocado

To describe the feeling of loss and grief of women who had an abortion. This conceptual served for this qualitative study. Discussion technique was the main approach to explore and comprehend women’s experiences with the loss and the abortion process. Because abortion has been regarded for many years as taboo, this prejudice causes nursing care to be focused on the technical aspect of care only. Although nurses might be prepared to assist women who had an abortion, little opportunity is given to those women to express their loss and grief. Focusing attention on this problem may stimulate nurses to reflect upon the need of women who had experienced loss and abortion, which in turn may lead to better nursing quality care. Exame físico de enfermagem do recém-nascido a termo: software auto-instrucional

The purpose of this research is to elaborate software about the physical examination of full-term newborns (TNB) for neonatal nursing teaching at undergraduate level. The software was developed according to the phases of planning, content development and evaluation. The construction of the modules was based on Gagnés modern learning theory and structured on the Keller Plan, in line with the systemic approach. The objectives were to elaborate and evaluate the contents of the self-instructional modules, to be used as a teaching strategy in the undergraduate course. After being structured, the material was reviewed and analyzed by 11 neonatal nursing experts, who rated the 42 exposed items as good or excellent.La investigacion trata de la elaboracion de un software que enfoca la ensenanza de enfermeria neonatologica para un curso de pregrado, cuyo contenido es el examen fisico del recien-nacido a termino (RNT). El software fue elaborado segun las fases de planeamiento, desarrollo de contenido y evaluacion. La construccion de los modulos se fundamento en la teoria moderna de Gagne, siendo estructurado en el plano Keller y en el enfoque sistemico. Los objetivos fueron elaborar y evaluar el contenido de los modulos auto-instruccionales para su utilizacion como estrategia de ensenanza en el curso de pregrado de enfermeria. Despues de su estructuracion, el material paso por el analisis de 11 peritos en el area de enfermeria neonatologica, que emitieron conceptos buenos o excelentes para los 42 item expuestos.

Estudo com módulos auto-instrucionais como uma estratégia de ensino na disciplina de Enfermagem Neonatológica

This is a previous note of an almost experimental study with time series aiming teaching strategy in neonatal nursing discipline with self-instructional modules of physical examination in Full-Term Newborns Infant (TNBI). The site of this research will be a private University in the State of Sao Paulo. The particicipants will use CD-ROM self-instructional modules to learn how to perform physical examination in TNBI. This study will bring much contribution to the nursing academic staff regarding their self-learning and development in the ability to perform physical examination in TNBI.Nota previa de um estudo quase experimento com delineamento de serie de tempo, que procura descrever uma estrategia de ensino na disciplina de enfermagem neonatologica, com modulos auto-instrucionais de exame fisico do Recem-Nascido a Termo (RNT). O locus desta pesquisa e uma Universidade privada do Estado de Sao Paulo. Os participantes utilizarao modulos auto-instrucionais em forma de CD-ROM para aprendizagem do exame fisico do RNT. Este estudo trara contribuicao aos docentes de enfermagem e aos alunos quanto a auto aprendizagem e desenvolvimento da habilidade na realizacao do exame fisico do RNT.
