This study aimed to determine the importance of an online forum discussion in online learning. To advance the function of the online forum discussion in online learning, it needs a model of effective collaborative learning. That advancement will also upsurge the success of online learning in Indonesia. However, collaborative learning has many challenges in distance learning. Students are required to have good time management, have the ability on self-learning, as well as active in the online discussion forums. This research had been conducted on students of Business Management department in distance education program. The overall results showed that the activity of the individual tasks and task groups, the presence in video conferencing, active in online discussion forums, and the readiness to take the quiz online, it has a significant relationship to student performance.

Mobile learning is known as a mobile-based learning method, such as PDAs, smartphones, laptops and tablet PCs. Mobile learning is part of the e-learning model and includes part of the distance learning model. The method has huge benefits because every student can learn without any limitation by space and time. This research examined the students learning motivation by using mobile devices. This study conducted a survey on 120 students who have used the mobile application on distance learning. The data were processed using descriptive analysis and referring to the modified ARCS Keller model. The results showed that students have the motivation to learn and use mobile device with high category (67.06%).

The new concept of omni-channel has inspired researchers to develop a model of consumer confusion to increase purchase intention. Previous studies were tested that the omni-channel integration quality can improve customer satisfaction. As a novelty, this study introduced omni-channel integration as a moderating variable that influence consumer confusion to the intention of purchase. This paper constituted a hypothetical development about the proposed omni-channel integration as a part of the e-quality service. This proposed research aimed to explore the effect of consumer confusion towards purchase intention moderated by omni-channel integration. Three hypotheses were modeled in this research proposal. The future results of this research are expected to be a significant contribution towards business, science, and society.

Currently, many educational institutions are highly oriented to improve the quality of education and students? learning achievement-examination result. To fulfil such intention, predicting students? performance by analyzing their learning behavior is one of the best way can be taken into account. Once the performance was predicted, it will be easy for teachers, school authority or other related parties to determine the appropriate policies on the issue. Relatedly, this paper aimed to provide the prediction of students? performance in final examination by applying linear regression and multilayer perceptron in WEKA- in terms of accuracy, performance and error rate- to compare their feasibility. The basis of data was derived from extraction and analysis of e-learning logged-post in discussion forum and attendance. Based on the result, it has been concluded that multilayer perceptron provides better prediction results of final examination than linear regression.

One of the difficulties of educational equity for developing country area of clothing marketing research. The research aimed to apply a consumer decision-making model to specific shopping styles involving apparel. It also examined specific shopping pattern differences between selected university students. This study analyzed the effect of seven factors: brand, quality, recreation, confusion, fashion, impulse, and price consciousness. It adopted the revised scale of Consumer Style Inventory (CSI). Faculty, gender, college classification, and interaction were compared, based on four hypotheses, to determine if any significance existed among the seven factors. There were 152 computer science college students and 76 social science college students from a total of 232 samples were usable data. The research questions were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, ANOVA, MANOVA, and mean comparisons. As a result, computer science consumers and social science college-aged consumers demonstrated different shopping patterns. Moreover, difference shopping pattern between male and female was revealed about on quality, confusion, price, and brand consciousness. There are no statistically significant differences in quality, recreation, confusion, fashion, impulse, price, and brand consciousness about college classifications. Finally, in the interaction tests among faculty, gender, and college-aged classifications, there was an interaction between faculty and gender on fashion consciousness.
