SQLite database engine is small, fast, reliable, and does not need a server to work. And, if needed, multiple applications may work with same SQLite database, optionally, using filesystem sharing services. However, file sharing option is not always available and reliable in certain conditions. In this paper, we propose a server for SQLite database. This server will be using HTTP as communication protocol. To enable multiuser application, this server will be multithreaded. However, access to the database file will be synchronized to help prevent database corruption. And, as data-interchange format, JSON will be used. We also run several tests to make sure that proposed server is usable. Test results show that the database file is not corrupted, while still maintain acceptable performance.

Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), a web-based e-learning tool, is growing to be used by current educational institutions. To prevent high non-passing rate, instructor needs to know which learner has the potential to pass the course or not. Learner who will fail the course also need advices immediately from instructor or system to overcome it. Learning Analytics (LA) is needed to collect and analyze learners’ activity logs on MOOC and predict their passing potential. The prototype application is developed by using Rational Unified Process (RUP) software development method. Implementation of LA in MOOC is feasible and suggested to analyze learners’ success factors by consuming learners’ activity logs and visualizing it in scatter diagram and node-link diagram. Instructor can provide advices to learners based on success factors generated by LA.

Difficulties in learning programming often hinder new students as novice programmers. One of the difficulties is to transform algorithm in mind into syntactical solution (sourcecode). This study proposes an application to help students in transform their algorithm (logic) into sourcecode. The proposed application can be used to write down students’ algorithm (logic) as block of pseudocode and then transform it into selected programming language sourcecode. Students can learn and modify the sourcecode and then try to execute it (learning by doing). Proposed application can improve 17% score and 14% passing rate of novice programmers (new students) in learning programming.

The new concept of omni-channel has inspired researchers to develop a model of consumer confusion to increase purchase intention. Previous studies were tested that the omni-channel integration quality can improve customer satisfaction. As a novelty, this study introduced omni-channel integration as a moderating variable that influence consumer confusion to the intention of purchase. This paper constituted a hypothetical development about the proposed omni-channel integration as a part of the e-quality service. This proposed research aimed to explore the effect of consumer confusion towards purchase intention moderated by omni-channel integration. Three hypotheses were modeled in this research proposal. The future results of this research are expected to be a significant contribution towards business, science, and society.

The primary objective of this research is to develop an online trust building mechanism for SME (Small Medium Enterprise). Trust is very important in e-commerce. The nature of online shopping has a greater uncertainty than offline shopping. Seeing as there is an uncertainty that can produce risks, a prospective buyers trust is needed. A lot of peoples unwillingness to shop online is caused by their lack of trust toward e-commerce. E-commerce is said to be one of the ways for SME to compete with bigger companies. However, building trust requires immense time and cost. SME with limited resources may experience difficulties in building trust just with their own resources. Base on literature research that needs to be validated in next research, we found that trust can be built through trust transfer from the reputable and well-known trust-mark issuer, and third party protection such as escrow account service and credit card issuer.

Organizations need information system as a tool for decision making. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are a tool of information systems to achieve work efficiency. ERP systems are the best solution to maintain a competitive advantage for most organizations. Successful implementations of ERP systems have a lot of benefits for the organizations. But the fact that many organizations have failed in implementing ERP systems, but also many organizations have succeeded in implementation of ERP systems. It is the challenge for the organizations to implementation of ERP systems success. The purpose of this study is to propose identify key success factors and challenges for ERP systems. This study employs Systematic. Literature Review approach for review and summary about the key success factors of ERP implementation.

Online transaction has been booming in this era, there are so many customers use this method for buying some product through electronic media. Implementation model of enterprise architecture framework in e-commerce usually work successfully, but in some enterprise since the model of enterprise architecture has been applied, companies seeing the lack of alignment between business and technology designed, so companies need to find solutions for fixing the problems. One of the purposes of this literature review is to analyze the components of enterprise architecture framework to support business processes with technology of e-commerce system. This study uses a systematic literature review method, step of search process reviewing various sources of databases by using keywords related to the topic of research, and the data obtained is classified based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. There are 117 papers identified with the topic research, then selected into 50 papers to review. The research result finds six components of enterprise architecture framework is the most influential in the development of e-commerce systems, which are business, system, design, technology, service, and people.

Art commissioning is the act of paying an artist for a customized work of art. These days, the emerging growth of technology creates an increasing trend for art commissions, as the process can now be done through the Internet rather than physical meetings. Art commissions are often conducted through social media or other general e-commerce web platforms. However, the current solutions are lacking in features which are needed to support the art-commissioning process. One of the problems is the unorganized commission ordering process. As a result, it is difficult to make the art-commissioning process a smooth experience. A feature such as a recommender system can be implemented in a website to improve the art-commissioning process. This paper aims to develop a system that can be used to recommend artwork images based on the combination of features of artwork image, art style category and user-generated tag contents. The recommendation algorithm takes into account a combination of the features content of the image, the category which refers to the art style, and the descriptive tags including similar tags. Our experiments and test on the users suggest that the recommender system worked well in recommending artworks to potential art buyers.

This paper presents a preliminary study of the existing MDT-based taxi dispatch system at Blue Bird Taxi, the leading taxi service provider in Indonesia. The aim of Global Positioning System (GPS)-based Mobile Data Transfer (MDT) system implementation in Blue Bird Taxi is to address passenger waiting time reduction, taxi dispatch time reduction, and increase passenger satisfaction. Although numerous evaluations on GPS-based system in taxi service have been implemented in many countries, little has been said on the implementation of the taxi dispatch system based on positioning system such as MDT in Indonesia. The general objective of this research is to assess: (i) perceived benefit of existing MDT system, (ii) usage level of existing MDT system, and (iii) driver loyalty on using MDT. The particular objective of this research is to consider the importance of knowledge on existing MDT functionalities. The result of this research is expected to give contribution to improve service quality of taxi service delivery, particularly in the Blue Bird Taxi.
