The study of channel capacity evaluation in conjunction with maximal ratio diversity-combining (MRC) is presented in this paper. Analysis of the capacity in correlative Nakagami-m fading channels is observed. Using the proposed fading model, the power and rate adaptation, constant transmit power, channel inversion with fixed rate and truncated channel inversion adaptation policies are analyzed. Our results show that the power and rate adaptation policy, being only slightly higher than capacity of constant transmit power policy, provides the highest capacity over the other adaptation policies. The results also show that truncated channel inversion adaptation policy is better alternative compared to complete channel inversion policy for all values of fading severity, diversity order and correlation coefficient.

In this paper we will present increased accuracy measurement method for the Nakagami-m m parameter estimation, based on implementation of space diversity reception. Parameter m will be estimated in real time, based on the obtained values of first, second and third order moments of signal, measured by a proposed system. The obtained results will show an increase of accuracy obtained by using this method over the results obtained by using a standard measurement procedure, so it creates a potential to apply this measurement method for estimation of fading parameters in various propagation environments.

Signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) based switch-and-stay combining (SSC) diversity system over correlated κ - μ fading channels, in the presence of correlated co-channel interferers (CCI) is observed. Appropriate closed-form expressions for probability density function (PDF), and cumulative distribution function (CDF) of the SSC output SIR are derived. Capitalizing on them, important performance measure, outage probability (OP), is efficiently evaluated, and analyzed for various values of propagation parameters.

For the development of new 5G systems to operate in mm bands, there is a need for accurate radio propagation modelling at these bands. In this paper novel approach for NLOS channels parameter estimation will be presented. Estimation will be performed based on LCR performance measure, which will enable us to estimate propagation parameters in real time and to avoid weaknesses of ML and moment method estimation approaches.

Wireless communication relay radio system with two sections is described in this paper. In the first section, signal envelope is described with K-μ distribution and in the second section signal envelope is modeled by using η-μ distribution. Probability density function (PDF) and cumulative distribution function (CDF) of minimum of signal envelopes at sections are calculated. Then, the outage probabilities are calculated for two cases. In the first case, the outage probability is defined as probability when signal envelope falls below the predetermined threshold at any section, and the second case when the signal envelope at the output of relay system falls below the predetermined threshold. The influence of the Rician factor of K-μ distribution and parameter η of η-μ distribution on the outage probability is analyzed and discussed.
