Portable audio players remove spatial constraints for listening to music or playing audio and allow us to easily enjoy music by using headphones anywhere and at any time. However, using headphones to listen to music on the street leads to traffic accidents with deadly consequences because people cannot detect dangers, and the number of such accidents is gradually increasing. This study was conducted to suggest a method of enabling headphone users to recognize dangers around them while walking on the street. This method detects and evaluates external danger signals and then controls audio playback to communicate a warning message to users. Furthermore, it can also detect the direction of the origin of the external audio stimulation.

Currently various applications related to bus route are used on smart devices to obtain bus arrival times, and route information. However, applications are unable to provide various ways for users to provide their destination. This study has designed an algorithm based on user`s six patterns. An Android application and a server that communicate with each other have been based on the algorithm. The applications and the server use the Google Maps service and location-based information to provide users with possible routes from the starting place to the destination. They also provide user`s with users` current position and any transfer information. They provide practical and efficient information, and are easy to use.

As Web technology and functions have recently changed to a user-focused paradigm, new studies are being conducted to construct dynamic learning content that enables the learner`s participation and continuous learning in the field of e-learning research and design. This paper covers a study on the degree of difficulty in learner-focused dynamic learning contents to provide efficient learning environments for its adaptation to e-learning 2.0. This study suggests DLA (Dynamic Level Adjustment) to provide learner-focused contents. The suggested system will be a guideline to control and adopt learning content that can be easily applied to the environmental change, and more in-depth future research can be performed by using the system. A dynamic learning content model was made to recognize various learning patterns of learners as a result of the performance evaluation.

The Domain Name System (DNS) is the core system for managing Internet address resources, providing the most fundamental naming service. Currently, the DNS is classified into a tree structure. In this structure, it is difficult to normally access to the lower DNS, when there is an error in the upper DNS. Such a risk still remains even when a supplementary DNS is operated. However, due to the merit of the DNS enabling fast searches, it is impracticable to abandon the current tree structure. To efficiently correspond to DNS errors, this study suggests a method where the merit of the current tree structure is kept, while a temporary operation of the local DNS is available when errors occur by adding a horizontal and independent DNS structure.
