Bullying is a form of violence (verbal, physical, material, psychological, moral, sexual, or virtual), intentionally and repeatedly. This qualitative research was conducted in four schools in Porto Alegre/RS through focus groups with 64 students in the age group of 9-17 years and interviews with 10 professional from schools. The objective of this research was to investigate the manifestations of bullying and the effectiveness of restorative circles. These are dialogical encounters between aggressor and victim, mediated by a coordinator. It aims to express the reasons underlying the conflict and elaborate agreements. The results indicate satisfaction with the restorative circles, but this practice may be palliative or punitive when the agreement is imposed.

Carles Feixa Pampols e professor catedratico de antropologia social da Universidade Pompeu Fabra, em Barcelona. E doutor em Antropologia Social pela Universidade de Barcelona e Doutor Honoris Causa pela Universidade de Manizales (Colombia). O Dr. Feixa tem se dedicado aos estudos das Culturas Juvenis, tendo publicado mais de 50 livros sobre o tema e sendo pesquisador visitante em importantes universidades de paises como: Espanha, Italia, Mexico, Franca, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Estados Unidos, Peru, Brasil, entre outros. Nesta entrevista, concedida aos professores Victor Oliveira, Miriam Lacerda e Andreia dos Santos, o professor Feixa discute temas importantes para o campo de pesquisa na area de juventudes, bem como apresenta pistas para as opcoes metodologicas no campo. Ele afirma, dentre suas contribuicoes, que uma maneira interessante de estudar as juventudes e pelo vies das historias de vida, pois se considera que a juventude nao tem historia de vida ou biografia, porque ainda estaria em construcao. Por outro lado, acredita ser justamente nesta fase no qual poderiam comecar a narrar e construir suas historias, assim, as utiliza para a construcao de suas pesquisas.

This essay discusses the relationship between body and health in the exercise of social life, presenting possibilities of body perception from a paradigm that focus on emotions, sensitivities and affectations. The rationalist paradigm of modernity is nowadays tensioned by a contemporary science that considers the sensitive experience, not fragmenting body and mind anymore; on the contrary, considering themselves as a place for education, for the construction of thought and knowledge. The cult of the body and care for this one are approaches that cause different states among themselves when dealing with education and health, so the hierarchical and vertical privilege, before modernity and now, inverted, in the contemporary times, needs to be rethought.
