Evaluasi Cobit dan Perancangan IT Balanced Scorecard untuk Perbaikan Penerapan System Development

Mohamad Chandra; Arif Imam Suroso; Irman Hermadi

. System development life cycle (SDLC) procedures has an important role in the process of system development in BRI Information Systems Technology (TSI) Division. This research aims to select the COBIT IT processes that are used as evaluation focus area of SDLC implementation, assess the maturity level of SDLC implementation, provide recommendations for improvement of SDLC implementation, and design a framework IT balanced scorecard (IT BSC) about improvement of SDLC implementation. The sampling method using purposive sampling and maturity models COBIT 4.1 as an assessment tool to measure the maturity level of SDLC implementation through a survey. Survey data were analyzed with a maturity level analysis and gap analysis. The results showed that the TSI Division is at maturity level 3 (Defined Process). Gap analysis generates recommendations for improvements based on detailed control objectives (DCO) COBIT that has not reached the expected maturity level (EML). Finally recommendations for improvement of SDLC implementation presented in the form of framework IT BSC.

The application of Fuzzy-Neuro approach for ERP system selection: Case study on an agro-industrial enterprise

Joko Ratono; Yandra Arkeman; Arif Imam Suroso

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) adoption emphasizes business transformation that leads to change business processes in an effort to maximize profits and competitive advantage of the enterprise. Many companies were unsuccessful in implementing ERP system. Selection failure affected implementation failure. ERP system selection that misfit and ineffectively caused a major failure of ERP system adoption which is a critical investment, risky and expensive. ERP selection is a complex decision-making process and must be conducted carefully because of the important impacts. Many researchers have studied related to the approach used, but still little was associated with complex and standardized criteria. Most studies were to simplify the complex criteria, which often will eliminate the meaning of the standardized criteria. This study discusses the hybrid approach of Fuzzy - Neural Network (Fuzzy-Neuro) for the ERP selection with numerous and complex criteria. The criterions used were the characteristics and sub-characteristics that compatible with ISO25010, vendors and consultants, fit strategy, change management and cost. A case study was simulated in the agro industrial company that has some special characteristics. The results confirm the Fuzzy-Neuro approach can be used optimally even for ERP selection with many, complex and tiered standardized criteria.

Decision Support System for Agribusiness Investment as e-Government Service Using Computable General Equilibrium Model

Arif Imam Suroso; Arief Ramadhan

Investment is one activity that is quite tricky. Investment activity should be based on accurate calculations. Government as the regulator of investment activity within a country, can build an e-Government services in the form of a Decision Support System (DSS) to assist the investment decision-making. Investment activity in one sector can influence other sectors. One model that can be used to see the influence is Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model. Some softwares has been available to perform complex CGE calculations. However, these softwares are generally not easy to use and not attractive. This paper presents the results of research in creating a system called Decision Support System for Agribusiness Investment (DSSAI). This system can perform complex CGE calculations, easy to use and has an attractive interface. These systems can be used as a benchmark for the user to determine whether he can invest in one of agribusiness sector or not. Users can perform a simulation by changing one variable, then see the effect on some sectors in agribusiness. The results of the DSSAI simulation are suitable with the opinion and the experience of economic experts, especially with the expert in agribusiness investment.
