Fatores associados à atenção domiciliária: subsídios à gestão do cuidado no âmbito do SUS

The identification of variables associated with the type of home care (HC) of the users of the Unified Health System (UHS) contributes to the management of care in the Health Care Network (HCN). The objective was to identify variables associated with HC users in Basic Health Units (BHU) selected from Belo Horizonte. It was a transversal study in two BHU with all users (n=114) in HC in the covered area. We used a multiple logistic regression analysis for selection (stepwise) of significant variables. Greater clinical involvement of users (OR=27.47), a sad emotional state (OR=24.36), risk for pressure ulcer bythe Braden scale (OR=7.6) and semidependence by the Katz ADL index (OR=63.8) were obtained and were strongly associated with the type of HC (p<0.05). Variables based on the social, family and clinical context of the subjects subsidized the integral approach and decision-making of the healthcare team.

O método funcional na prática da enfermagem abordado através da dinâmica de grupo: relato de uma experiência

Este estudo discute o metodo funcional na enfermagem, abordado atraves de uma dinâmica de grupo desenvolvida com mestrandos da EERP-USP, sendo divididos em tres grupos. Apos a dinâmica, responderam um questionario com 04 perguntas. As respostas do grupo I mostraram desvantagens da modalidade funcional que interferem no trabalho como: relacoes impessoais, fragmentacao de tarefas e centralizacao das decisoes, gerando insatisfacao no trabalhador. Os grupos II e III apontaram algumas vantagens quando o trabalho e baseado em equipe, das quais destacamos a troca de experiencias, o planejamento participativo e as decisoes compartilhadas, sendo estes, fatores que levam a satisfacao no trabalho.

Investigation concerning knowledge and contact with drugs among first grade students in private and public schools in the city of Ribeirão Preto

This study refers to an essay concerning knowledge and contact with drugs among students, first grade, in private and public schools in the city of Ribeirao Preto, in different social layers. Looking for a better understanding of our data, we decided to work in this empirical survey with the concept of social stratum: a group of person with determined measurable features in common, that is, common status and that can be defined by distinct criteria. Schools were sorted according to the kind of student they had: after, schools were divided in four groups and we drew lots of each school. We used a questionnaire to collect data with opened and closed questions. According to data obtained we concluded that all students, no matter what socio-economic level, have a superficial knowledge about the subject: 48,2% said they knew people addicted to drugs in their neighborhood, 8,8% of the children said they had offerings of drugs and the drugs were: cocaine, marijuana, haxixe, cigarettes and toxic pencil; and 63% of the remaining group said they never had an orientation related to drugs.
