Modelos clínico e psicossocial de atenção ao indivíduo e à família na assistência domiciliar: bases conceituais

Home care is a rapidly expanding segment in Brazil. The model currently applied to home care is based on clinical and hospital models. The objective of this article is to propose theoretical frameworks that can be applied to home care by taking into account its psychosocial dimension. Although indivisible, the conceptual frameworks of the clinical and the psychosocial models are broken down, for clarity purposes, in order to contribute to the improvement of practices, so as to add personal expressions and contexts as elements of psychosocial dynamics.Prestar asistencia en el domicilio ha sido una practica en expansion en el Brasil. No obstante, el modelo de asistencia se ha basado en el modelo clinico y hospitalario. Este articulo tiene como objetivo proponer referenciales teoricos para un modelo de atencion volcada a la asistencia domiciliaria, considerando la dimension psicosocial. Se presentan las bases conceptuales del modelo clinico y psicosocial, didacticamente separados, a pesar de no ser disociables, como una contribucion al perfeccionamiento de una practica capaz de agregar expresiones de la persona y del contexto en cuanto elemento de una dinamica psicosocial.

A capacitação de enfermeiros para a assistência domiciliar: uma abordagem psicossocial

Este trabajo tiene por objetivo relatar la experiencia de la realizacion de un curso de capacitacion para la asistencia domiciliaria en el abordaje psicosocial. El curso fue ofrecido para siete profesionales con experiencia en el area. Se presenta el referencial teorico y la metodologia empleada en el curso, asi como los resultados de las tres partes que constituyeron el programa de capacitacion: el reconocimiento de los sujetos y de la mobilizacion afectiva; la mobilizacion de conceptos y las representaciones de las practicas profesionales; la aplicabilidad del modelo psicosocial en el domicilio.

As competências do graduado em enfermagem: percepções de enfermeiros e docentes

Objectives: To identify the competences of undergraduate nursing students and to identify the factors that influence students’ exercise of these competences. Methods: A qualitative approach was used to collect data through semi-structured interviews of seven undergraduate nursing students and twelve nursing faculty. Results: Two competences categories have emerged: professional work culture and faculty generalist education. Factors that influence students’ exercise of competences include organizational structure and personal skills. Conclusion: Although the findings reflect desirable undergraduate nursing student competences, they do not reflect the scope of professional nursingOBJETIVOS: identificar las competencias de los enfermeros licenciados y los factores que interfieren en el ejercicio de las mismas. METODOS: Investigacion de naturaleza cualitativa realizada con siete enfermeros asistenciales y doce docentes de enfermeria. Los datos fueron acopiados por medio de una entrevista semi-estructurada. RESULTADOS: Los datos permitieron su categorizacion en familias de competencias con sus respectivas competencias especificas, que evidenciaron una lista coherente y pertinente con la cultura de la labor profesional; y para los docentes, la busqueda por la formacion generalista. Las facilidades y dificultades fueron vinculadas a la estructura organizacional y tambien a las habilidades personales. CONCLUSION: El analisis realizado reflejo las competencias que son pertinentes a los enfemeros assistenciales, no obstante haya revelado uma intencionalidade no conquistada en el ambito de la practica.

Competências psicossociais para a assistência domiciliar

Home care is a reality in Brazil. The professionals introduce in the context of the person and the family which demands the need to develop new competencies. The objective of this paper is to demonstrate psychosocial competence to the professionals who works in home care. The general and specific professional competencies in home care are showed in order to prepare them to make psychosocial interventions. The professionals challenge is to know the conceptual bases of the psychosocial model and to train on it to work with the different situations that occur in home context. O FUMO ENTRE DOCENTES E DISCENTES DAS ESCOLAS DE ENFERMAGEM

A study was made among students and instructors of three schools of nursing at Sao Paulo City, Brazil, on number of smokers, non smokers and previous smokers and the causes that led them to start smoking as well as to withdraw from the habit. In a population of 636 studients the authors found 24.1% smokers, 68.5% non smokers, 7.4% previous smokers. The percentage of 117 instructors were 23.1%, 62.4% and 14.5% respectively. The reason for start smoking most frequently mentioned by both groups was curiosity (35.2% and 28.2% respectively). For leaving the habit was conscience of damage to health (72.5% and 65.2%). For the non smokers this was the main reason for never starting the habit. The authors studied also the age of start smoking, number of cigarettes smoked per day. The outside influences for smoking or not orientation of others about the damages of smoking to health were also considered.

Planejamento de ensino em enfermagem: intenções educativas e as competências clínicas

Pensar en la formacion de enfermeros presupone articular esta cuestion con las expresiones de marcos teoricos, en la perspectiva de una vertiente pedagogica que pase por el constructivismo y por competencias. El objetivo fue caracterizar, en una vision longitudinal, la constitucion de las competencias asistenciales en el curso de Enfermeria contenidas en los Planos de Ensenanza. El estudio tuvo un caracter exploratorio descriptivo, en un abordaje cualitativo. Fue realizado un analisis documental de los 9 planos de ensenanza de las disciplinas asistenciales del curso. Los aspectos etico y legales fueron garantizados, siendo los datos recolectados despues de aprobados por el Comite de Etica en Investigacion. Los datos colocaron en evidencia una organizacion curricular centrada en disciplinas, manteniendo logicas internas aparentemente refractarias a las organizaciones sumativas. Emergen senalizaciones de un aprendizaje con vinculos poco substantivos entre los conocimientos previos y la potenciacion del juzgamiento critico y del raciocinio clinico. Como propuesta, el estudio trajo reconsideraciones para el proceso ensenanza y aprendizaje y la influencia de la concepcion constructivista en la proposicion de las competencias clinicas.Thinking about nursing education implies articulating this issue with the expressions of theoretical frameworks, from the perspective of a pedagogical aspect that includes both constructivism and competencies. The objective was to characterize, from a longitudinal view, the construction of care competencies that exist in the teaching plans of nursing undergraduate programs. This exploratory-descriptive study used a qualitative approach. Documentary analysis was performed on the nine teaching plans of undergraduate care subjects. The ethical-legal aspects were guaranteed, so that data was collected only after the study had been approved by the Research Ethics Committee. The data evidenced a curriculum organization centered on subjects, maintaining internal rationales that seem to resist summative organizations. Signs emerge of hardly substantial links between any previous knowledge and the strengthening of critical judgment and clinical reasoning. As proposed, the study contributed with reconsiderations for the teaching-learning process and showed the influence of constructivism on the proposal of clinical competencies.
