A COMUNICAÇÃO CORPORAL NO JOGO DE GOALBALL

The present study analyzed body communication of visually impaired goalball athletes. It is a descriptive, qualitative and Barthesian-semiological study. The sample consisted of 22 male athletes. The final match of Brazil’s North-Northeast Championship of Goalball was recorded and analyzed. Results describe signifiers of the game’s moves at Expression Level, showing motion-perceptive wealth; at the Content Level, it describes multiple cognitive, emotional and sociocultural meanings of players’ movements. Goalball is found to be an educational game because, besides its coordination communication complexity, it allows players to expand their attention to their whole bodies.

Ações Comunicativas Corporais e seus Significados no Contexto Educacional

This article discusses the body communicative actions, emphasizing the issue ofxa0the communicative relationship among the subjects. Referencing the educational context, we discuss the dormant conception of the body in the teaching-learning process, the effectivexa0theoretical possibility of including new teaching knowledge, and the contributions of bodyxa0language for pedagogical action. Through the prism of bodily communication, it is focusedxa0on movements and their meanings, promoting the premise that it is possible to convey andxa0decode messages often imperceptible to verbal communication. Therefore, the consciousxa0body language, establishing itself as a useful and effective teaching knowledge, is posited.

Relação sociocultural dos brinquedos artesanais vendidos em feiras livres

A pesquisa objetivou analisar o significado sociocultural dos brinquedos artesanais vendidos em feiras livres. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, do tipo descritiva, de campo. Os Sujeitos participantes foram vendedores de brinquedos artesanais das feiras livres das cidades de Campina Grande e Joao Pessoa, principais no Estado da Paraiba. Utilizou-se da entrevista semiestruturada e da observacao direta com registro em diario de campo. Concluiu-se que os brinquedos artesanais apresentam importantes significados para os feirantes vendedores desses objetos, principalmente no que se refere ao periodo de infância vivida, ao significado intergeracional somado a historia cultural do brinquedo e a realidade educacional dos Sujeitos.
