Relações étnico-raciais e práticas pedagógicas em Educação Infantil

O artigo discute as praticas pedagogicas observadas em uma Escola Municipal de Educacao Infantil (EMEI) da Regiao Sul do Brasil, a partir de dados coletados para a pesquisa nacional “Praticas Pedagogicas de Trabalho com Relacoes Etnico-Raciais na Escola na Perspectiva de Lei 10.639/2003” . As praticas pedagogicas observadas focaram-se principalmente na Literatura Infantil e nas imagens que circulam na escola. Os resultados foram cotejados com os de outros estudos sobre relacoes raciais e Educacao Infantil que analisam praticas pedagogicas. A analise aponta para um trabalho de efetiva valorizacao da populacao negra, mas ao mesmo tempo mostra uma serie de limitacoes e contradicoes internas na escola.

Nos "rigores" da lei: a escolarização da infância na legislação da instrução pública da província do Paraná (1857-1883)

O objetivo deste artigo e compreender como o tempo da infância e algumas das praticas de escolarizacao voltadas para o sujeito que o vive, a crianca, foram pensados na legislacao escolar da provincia do Parana, entre os anos de 1857 e 1883, tomando como fonte os regulamentos de instrucao e as leis do ensino obrigatorio que circularam ao longo desse periodo. Na primeira parte sao elencados alguns instrumentos teoricos e metodologicos adotados para o trato do objeto desta pesquisa. Na segunda, realiza-se a problematizacao da legislacao escolar como fonte aqui privilegiada para a producao do conhecimento historico sobre a escolarizacao da infância no tocante ao contexto paranaense. Na terceira parte sao investigadas algumas praticas de escolarizacao da infância, utilizando os conceitos de genero e idade escolar como ferramentas analiticas para compreender-se de que modo estes incidiram na producao do espaco escolar, dos saberes e dos tempos infantis da escolarizacao na provincia da Parana.ABSTRACTThis article aims at understanding how the childhood time and some of the schooling practices oriented to the individual who experiences it, the child, were developed in the school legislation of the province of Parana between 1857 and 1883, based on the education regulations and compulsory education laws in force throughout that period. The first part lists some of the theoretical and methodological instruments adopted to deal with the object of this research. The second part presents the problematization of the school legislation as a privileged source for the production of historical knowledge about the education of children in relation to the context of the province of Parana. In the third part we investigate some practices of children education using the concepts of gender and school age as analytical tools to understand their impact on the production of the school space, knowledges and childhood time of schooling in the province of Parana. Os primeiros Congressos Americanos da Criança e a pan-americanização dos debates sobre a infância (1916 a 1922)

Nas primeiras decadas do seculo XX passam a se reunir periodicamente, em diferentes paises da America Latina, autoridades politicas, especialistas e filantropos interessados em debater as questoes da infância americana. O papel simbolico da infância na modernizacao da America, a educacao da crianca como motor do desenvolvimento das nacoes e do continente, em debate nos primeiros Congressos Americanos da Crianca (1916-1922), sao o cerne deste artigo. O arquivo público paranaense: possibilidades para a pesquisa em história da educação no período provincial

This article deals with the relation of the historian of education to archives, with the possibilities for research, with tensions that the archives introduce in the complex relation with the researcher, and with the potentialities of the Department of Public Archives of Parana (DEAP-PR). It examines the archives as to the research tools available - the archive resources that contain documentation referring to public instruction in the province of Parana -, as to the contents and types of sources that can be found in the corresponding resources, and as to the relevance of these archives for the writing of the history of education in the 19th century. The objective of this study is to analyze the documental resources of the archive, looking at them as a fertile working tool for the research in the history of education, particularly in what concerns the investigations about public instruction in the provincial period. Methodologically, the work that was carried out was that of mapping out in the DEAP-PR archives the possibilities of research in education offered by the various documental resources present in the archives, of bringing them together and of pointing out, based on the nature and characteristics of the empirical sources gathered, their analytic potential. To fulfill these objectives, the text dialogues with references from the field of history and history of education, and presents as results the organizing process itself, the analysis of the documental resources of the archives, and the research possibilities of studies about public instruction, in particular for the provincial period.
