Assédio moral entre docentes de instituição pública de ensino superior do Brasil

Objective: To identify the existence of moral harassment (SA) among professors in a public university in Brazil. Methods: This was a quantitative, descriptive and sectional research; the sample consisted of 54 professors (62.8%) who answered questions about moral harassment at work. Results: Most were women (92.6%), between 40 and 59 years (72.2%), working at the institution less than 15 years (61.1), 40.7% admitted being victims of SA at work, 59.3% knew the fellow who had suffered SA and 70.4% stated that it is a common problem in the institution. The cases described participation of: chiefs, superiors, peers, teachers and advisers. Conclusion: Universities are places where there is competition for positions and for research/publication resources, which facilitates the occurrence of this phenomenon. The individualities must be overcome with ethical values such as equity and solidarity to avoid the happening of moral harassment.Objective: To identify the existence of moral harassment (SA) among professors in a public university in Brazil. The expressiveness of a university professor in his classroom performance: analysis of verbal resources and implications for nursing

Expressiveness is the ability of individuals to make their thoughts alive through language and body, effectively transmitting information. This study investigated the expressiveness of a university professor during nursing classes in relation to verbal resources from the perspective of students. This descriptive and quantitative study was carried out in a Higher Education Institution using specific instruments to assess expressiveness. The professors class was video recorded and the video was first assessed by three speech and language experts and later assessed by 141 students with whom he had no previous contact. The results reveal that students and experts agreed in relation to the professors expressive skills, which proved the ability of students to evaluate this communication skill.A expressividade e a capacidade de o individuo tornar vivo seu pensamento pela linguagem e pela expressao corporal, permitindo a transmissao de informacoes de modo efetivo. O presente estudo objetivou investigar a expressividade do docente universitario de enfermagem ministrando aula, em relacao aos seus recursos verbais, a partir do julgamento dos alunos. Trata-se de investigacao descritiva, quantitativa, desenvolvida em uma instituicao de ensino superior, para a qual foram utilizados instrumentos especificos de avaliacao da expressividade. Realizou-se a filmagem de uma aula do referido docente, que foi primeiramente avaliado por tres experts fonoaudiologos e, depois, submetido ao julgamento por parte de 141 alunos que nao haviam tido contato previo com o mesmo. Os resultados mostraram que alunos e experts foram concordantes em seu julgamento sobre as habilidades expressivas do professor universitario de enfermagem, o que comprovou a capacidade e a propriedade dos discentes na avaliacao dessa habilidade de comunicacao.

Riscos físicos e sua identificação por auxiliares de enfermagem de Hospital de Ensino do Estado de Minas Gerais, Brasil

Objetivo : investigar se os auxiliares de enfermagem identificam os riscos fisicos aos quais estao ocupacionalmente expostos no hospital. Metodo : a pesquisa foi de abordagem quantitativa, descritiva, nao-experimental. A coleta de dados foi realizada com 85 sujeitos ( 32,9% do quadro funcional), por meio de um questionario com perguntas para identificar, biografica e profissionalmente, os entrevistados, alem de questoes relacionadas aos riscos fisicos. Resultados : a maioria dos participantes era do sexo feminino (82,3%); casada (41,2%), com idade entre 31 a 40 anos (27,1%) e ensino medio completo (60,0%). O conceito de risco fisico foi corretamente descrito por 30,0% deles; entretanto apenas 29,4% conseguiram identificar com certeza os fatores deste risco; os demais identificaram-nos total ou parcialmente errado, confundindo-os com outros agentes de risco (67,1%), ou nao responderam a questao (3,5%). Consideracoes finais : trabalhadores de enfermagem, especialmente os auxiliares de enfermagem, devem ter acesso a acoes educativas e promotoras da saude, aos conhecimentos sobre os riscos ocupacionais, para se prevenirem adequadamente durante a atividade laboral em locais cuja gama de fatores de risco podem favorecer adoecimentos e acidentes de trabalho. CARGAS DE TRABALHO DE MATERIALIDADE EXTERNA NA EQUIPE DE ENFERMAGEM DE HOSPITAL DE ENSINO DO PARANÁ, BRASIL

La finalidad de la investigacion fue analizar las cargas de trabajo de materialidad externa presentes en los procesos de trabajo del equipo de enfermeria de un hospital de ensenanza. Se trata de un estudio realizado segun el marco teorico del materialismo historico, cuyo analisis se baso en el analisis de contenido propuesta por Bardin. Abarco entrevistas semiestructuradas de siete enfermeras, gerentes del servicio de enfermeria en la Institucion. Para el analisis fue utilizado el Programa Informatizado The Ethnograph version 5.0. Los hallazgos evidenciaron que las cargas biologicas fueron las mas relevantes, debido a la exposicion y el sufrimiento que provocan; que las cargas mecanicas han sido potencializadas por el envejecimiento de los trabajadores; que las cargas quimicas y fisicas parecen ser poco consideradas porque el equipo las conoce poco. Acciones para aumentar el cuantitativo de personal y mayor acompanamiento de esos trabajadores por el Sector de Salud Ocupacional son medidas preventivas fundamentales para mejorar las condiciones de salud y trabajo de la poblacion estudiada.
