The complexity involved in operationalizing the method for nursing staffing, in view of the uncountable variable related to identifying the workload, the effective working time of the staff, and the Technical Security Index (TSI) revealed the need to develop a software program named: Computerized Nursing Staffing (DIPE, in Portuguese acronyms). This exploratory, descriptive study was performed with the objective to evaluate the technical quality and functional performance of DIPE. Participants were eighteen evaluators, ten of whom where nurse faculty or nurse hospital unit managers, and eight health informatics experts. The software evaluation was performed according to norm NBR ISO/IEC 9126-1, considering the features functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, and maintainability. The software evaluation reached positive results and agreement among the evaluators for all the evaluated features. Esse estudo, de producao tecnologica, teve como objetivo desenvolver um programa aplicativo para dimensionar o quadro de profissionais de enfermagem em unidades de internacao hospitalar. O metodo seguiu as fases de concepcao, detalhamento e construcao e prototipagem do sistema de forma iterativa e ciclica. O programa computacional, denominado de Dimensionamento de Profissionais de Enfermagem - DIPE, e uma ferramenta que operacionaliza o dimensionamento, fundamentado na carga de trabalho da unidade, para a adequada relacao profissionais/pacientes, segundo os tipos de cuidado; no Indice de Seguranca Tecnica (IST) para cobertura das ausencias previstas (folgas e ferias) e nao previstas (faltas e licencas) e no tempo despendido na jornada de trabalho para as pausas dos profissionais. O sistema esta disponivel no site da Escola de Enfermagem da USP: http://www.ee.usp.br/dipe. A incorporacao desse avanco tecnologico constitui importante estrategia gerencial para a melhoria da qualidade da atencao a saude.The aim of this technological production study was to develop a program to measure nursing professional chart in units of hospitalization. The method followed the phases of conception, description, construction and prototyping of the system interactively and a cyclically. The computerized program, denominated Measuring Nursing Professionals (DIPE) is a tool that operationalizes measurement based on the workload of the unit for the adequate professional/patient relationship according to types of care, according to the Index of Technical Security to cover expected absences (day-off and vacation) and those non expected (leave and licenses) and also time spent during work for pauses of professionals. The system is available in the site of the Nursing School of USP: htpp:// www.ee.usp.br/dipe. The incorporation of this technological development became important managerial instrument to improve quality in health attention.

O objetivo deste estudo foi desenvolver uma proposta educacional virtual, utilizando recursos multimidia, visando inovar, dinamizar e diversificar espacos de comunicacao e interacao, favorecendo o processo de ensino aprendizagem autonomo e reflexivo do enfermeiro. Este trabalho constitui-se de uma pesquisa aplicada, seguindo as fases ciclicas e interativas de concepcao e planejamento, desenvolvimento e implementacao. A proposta educacional foi desenvolvida na plataforma TelEduc, utilizando ferramentas de organizacao, de conteudo, de comunicacao, do aluno e do administrador. Os modulos de ensino referiram-se as seguintes tematicas: Modulo 1 - Fundamentos de anatomia e fisiologia cardiacas do recem-nascido; Modulo 2 - Fatores de risco para ocorrencia da parada cardiorrespiratoria no recem-nascido; Modulo 3 - Planejamento da assistencia de enfermagem; Modulo 4 - Medicacoes empregadas na parada cardiorrespiratoria no recem-nascido; e Modulo 5 - Atendimento da parada cardiorrespiratoria no recem-nascido. Este projeto pode contribuir com a inovacao do ensino em enfermagem a partir de uma proposta educacional virtual sobre um tema de relevância que e o atendimento da ressuscitacao cardiopulmonar do recem-nascido.

Este relato de experiencia teve por objetivo descrever o processo de avaliacao no Estagio Curricular de Administracao em Enfermagem do Curso de Graduacao da Escola de Enfermagem da Universidade de Sao Paulo, a luz da metodologia dialetica. Nesta perspectiva, o conhecimento e construido em tres momentos: sincrese, analise e sintese, em que a tarefa pedagogica do professor e mediar as fases de mobilizacao, construcao e sintese do conhecimento por meio da duvida e da critica. Concluiu-se que avaliacao da aprendizagem valorizou as relacoes interpessoais e a participacao dos sujeitos envolvidos, por meio do acolhimento e estabelecimento de vinculos em todo o processo, favorecendo a concepcao do conhecimento a partir da problematizacao da praxis criando situacoes construtivas e significativas, desenvolvendo multiplas competencias.This experience report had as purpose to describe the evaluation process in curriculum clerckship of nursing administration in the Nursing Course of the School of Nursing at the University of São Paulo, in the light of dialectical methodology. In this perspective, knowledge is constructed in three stages: síncrese, analysis and synthesis, in which the pedagogical task of the teacher is mediating the steps of mobilization, construction and synthesis of knowledge through the doubt and criticism. It was concluded that assessment of learning valued interpersonal relations and participation of the subjects involved, through the host and establishment of links in the process, encouraging the development of knowledge from the practice of creating problem situations constructive and meaningful, developing multiple competences.

This experience report discusses the use of seminars as a teaching strategy in the discipline of Nursing Administration II, in the Undergraduate Nursing Program at the University of São Paulo. For planning, development and evaluation of the seminars, we adopted a dialectic methodology that conceives of the construction of knowledge in three stages: development of themes, analysis and synthesis, in which the task of teachers is to mediate the phases of mobilization, construction and knowledge synthesis. Key assumptions for adult education were met: motivation for learning, analysis of their experiences and the possibility of autonomy in the construction of knowledge through questioning, the use of creativity and proposal of solutions, enabling constructive, significant situations, and competency development. The discussion of themes proposed possible approximation of reality through reflection and discussion of how services are included in the health system.Este relato de experiencia aborda la utilizacion de seminarios como estrategia de ensenanza aprendizaje en la disciplina Administracion en Enfermeria II, del Curso de Pregrado en Enfermeria de la Escuela de Enfermeria de la Universidad de Sao Paulo. Para la planificacion, desarrollo y evalucion de los seminarios, se adopto la Metodologia Dialectica que concibe la construccion del conocimiento en tres momentos: sincresis, analisis y sintesis, en la cual la tarea de los profesores es mediar las fases de mobilizacion, construccion y sintesis del conocimiento. Fueron atendidos presupuestos-clave para la educacion de adultos: motivacion para el aprendizaje, analisis de sus experiencias y posibilidad de autonomia en la construccion del conocimiento por medio de la problematizacion, del uso de la creatividad y de la proposicion de soluciones, posibilitando situaciones constructivas, significativas y el desarrollo de competencias. La discusion de los temas propuestos posibilito la aproximacion de la realidad por la reflexion y discusion respecto a como los servicios estan insertados en el sistema de salud.

The objective of this study was to discuss the complexity of preparing the monthly nursing schedule during the Nursing Administration course, in an inpatient unit of a public teaching hospital, in São Paulo. We started from the position that the preparation of a monthly schedule consisted of a series of coordinated actions which required: recognition of staff, collection of data needed to characterize the clinical reality, comparison of those data with the literature, and development of a proposal for action, which we would discuss with the nurses in the unit. This experience provided the possibility to reflect on empowerment and the understanding of these professionals about the factors involved in the implementation of this management activity.
