A Study on Structural Holes of Privacy Protection for Life Logging Service as analyzing/processing of Big-Data

Jang-Mook Kang; You-Jin Song

SNS (Social Network Service) has evolved to life-friendly service with the combination of local services. Unlike exsiting mobile services, life-friendly service is expected to be personalized with gathering of local information, location information and social network service information. In the process of gathering various kinds of information, Big-data technology and Cloud technology is needed. The effective algorithem has researched for this already, however the privacy protection model hasn’t researched enough in life-friendly service or big-data using circumstance. In this paper, the privacy issue is dealt with in terms of ‘Structure hole’, and the privacy issue comes from big-data technology of life-friendly service.

The Method of Protecting Privacy Capable of Distributing and Storing of Data Efficiently for Cloud Computing Environment

You-Jin Song; Kwang-Yong Park; Jang-Mook Kang

Large amounts of information being generated in real time in a distributed environment due to recent development of cloud services such as SaaS, etc. is stored and managed in a database and is shared by users. But because the sensitive information of an individual is included in this information, the privacy damage by illegal utilization is worried. As the sensitive information is linked with specific individuals, this privacy damage is generated, so its anonymity, namely, unlinkability should be provided to solve this. Currently, the method of V. Ciriani, etc. for guaranteeing data privacy such as unlinkability, etc. is solving the unlinkability problem by using fragmentation and encryption. But this method includes a problem that the database capacity increases due to duplicate encryption data of attributes caused by fragmentation. This paper proposes a privacy enforcing method based on AONT to solve this problem. The proposed method is suitable for large data processing through variability of transformed pieces according to AONT properties and an XOR operation and can minimize the increase of database capacity.

Deduction of Humanistic Metaphor based on Searching, Participation, Sharing and Analysis of Wearable Device

Won-Tae Lee; Jang-Mook Kang

Abstract According to the lunching of Google glass, the interest for wearable computer is increasing. This paper is about how to apply humanity or humanist metaphor to the development and application of wearable computer. Humanity is consisted of dream, imagination and desire of human mind. However the software development methodology and application design of engineering part are consisted of the logical language and also they are testable. In this paper the different academics are combined and researched to develop the human-friendly application which are the design of humanities-applying wearable computer and the service scenarios. This paper shows the specific examples of services to search, share and analyze the information with wearable computer also presents what kinds of humanistic metaphor is able to apply in this process. A Study on the SNS (Social Network Service) Based on Location Model Combining Mobile Context-Awareness and Real-Time AR (Augmented Reality) via Smartphone

Jang-Mook Kang; Bong-Hwa Hong

The advent of the Internet heralded network age in the 1990s. I-Phone’s launch into the market in Korea in 2010 opened up the country to smartphone age in a mobile environment. smartphone provides such functions as GPS sensing module and navigation in a mobile environment. Handheld computers that are linked to web mobile platform on a real-time basis enables personalized user information such as location, mail address, mobile phone numbers of friends and call duration to be provided in mobile context-awareness system. In particular, context of personalized mobile context-awareness combines with AR technology, which fuses with cross media producing, storing, distributing, re-processing, spreading and disseminating various information based on personal context, to create a visual image. This study will suggest a model showing how a social network service (Facebook, Twitter, Gowalla, foursquare etc.) exploding like a volcano splits up into AR (Augmented Reality) technology and the model proposed will be demonstrated to the details via personalized location-based service.

A Study on the Weight Allocation Method of Humanist Input Value and Multiplex Modality using Tacit Data

Won-Tae Lee; Jang-Mook Kang

Users sensitivity is recognized as a very important parameter for communication between company, government and personnel. Especially in many studies, researchers use voice tone, voice speed, facial expression, moving direction and speed of body, and gestures to recognize the sensitivity. Multiplex modality is more precise than single modality however it has limited recognition rate and overload of data processing according to multi-sensing also an excellent algorithm is needed to deduce the sensing value. That is as each modality has different concept and property, errors might be happened to convert the human sensibility to standard values. To deal with this matter, the sensibility expression modality is needed to be extracted using technologies like analyzing of relational network, understanding of context and digital filter from multiplex modality. In specific situation to recognize the sensibility if the priority modality and other surrounding modalities are processed to implicit values, a robust system can be composed in comparison to the consuming of computer resource. As a result of this paper, it is proposed how to assign the weight of multiplex modality using implicit data.

The Communication Structure and Technologies for Political Network Campaign Using Hybrid Application

Jang-Mook Kang; Hae-Gill Choi; You-Jin Song

Hybrid application is the one with advantage of mobile web and an application. In this study, we analyzed the communication of political network campaigns based on the technical features of hybrid application. Political network campaigns strengthen relation, reputation, influence, and attention using social media. Especially, the political communication varies by political network campaigns. We analyzed the political communication structure through the communication mechanism. And we investigated various technical, social and cultural variables causing changes in the communication structure. Through this, we can identify how changes in political communication through media are made and configured.

Advanced Integrated Model-Driven Development Tool for USN Applications in Pervasive Computing Environment

Woo-Jin Lee; Jang-Mook Kang; Yoon-Seok Heo; Bong-Hwa Hong

In sensor networks, nodes should often operate under a demanding environment such as limited computing resources, unreliable wireless communication and power shortage. And such factors make it challenging to develop ubiquitous sensor network (USN) applications. This article presents a model-driven development tool for USN applications. USN applications are programs that are installed into nodes which consist in sensor networks. The presented tool automatically generates applications for nodes from the sensor network model. Users can develop USN applications by first developing a model for the sensor network and then designing applications by setting the values of the predefined attributes. The source code for applications is automatically generated from the model. The tool will help users can easily develop a large number of validated USN applications even if they do not know the details of low-level information.

A Study on Humanity Convergence Map using space metaphor and POI (point of interest) of Big Data

Won-Tae Lee; Jang-Mook Kang

Google, Yahoo, Daum and Naver has the POI(point of interest) service. And POI on the map is expending to social commerce, SNS, social game and social shopping. At the same time the uses`s position on the map is the starting point of the Humanities Story. That means our current position is the place for stories of tales, children`s song, fictional characters, the film background, lyrics and the birth of great people. This study points out that service has the limited to cafe, restaurant and hospital, and suggests the Humanities fusion Map Service which is combined with the POI information.
