DIFERENTES PERFIS DE MOTIVAÇÕES E PREOCUPAÇÕES DOS ESTUDANTES DE EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA

The aim of this study was to identify different profiles of Physical Education teacher students considering their motivation and concerns. A total of 53 students in Supervised Internship participated in this quantitative and cross-sectional study. The research instruments included: Initial Motivation and Pedagogical Support Scale; Teacher’s Concerns Questionnaire; and Sociodemographic Questionnaire. The results showed three groups of students. Group I included unmotivated students concerned only with the task at hand and with little time for studies and insufficient income. Students in Groups II and III showed higher motivation. However, members of Group II showed higher levels of concern, insufficient income and less time dedicated to studies, while Group III members had lower levels of concern, insufficient income and more time dedicated to studies. Therefore, the study finds that sociodemographic aspects are intervening factors for students’ motivation and concern profiles.

PREOCUPAÇÕES DE PROFESSORES DE EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA: REFLEXÕES ACERCA DE ESTUDOS RELACIONADOS À TEMÁTICA

This article presents reflections on teachers’ concerns. After presenting the theory of Fuller and colleagues that underlies empirical studies carried out with student-teachers and teachers in Brazil and abroad, it reflects on enrichment and deepening of research related to the theme. The literature searched reveals both the need to observe changes in society since the Theory of teachers’ concerns was put forward and adjusted, and the need to observe issues related to the theme, the context of action, and methods in order to assess teachers’ concerns with higher accuracy.

Bem estar do trabalhador docente de educação física da região sul do Brasil de acordo com os ciclos vitais

O objetivo do estudo foi avaliar o nivel de associacao entre os ciclos vitais e os parâmetros socioambiental (satisfacao no trabalho) e individual (estilo de vida) do Bem Estar do Trabalhador Docente em Educacao Fisica dos magisterios publicos estaduais da regiao sul do Brasil. Na investigacao, 1645 professores responderam um questionario socio-demografico e profissional, alem dos instrumentos QVT-PEF e PEVI. Os testes qui-quadrado, razao de verossimilhanca e regressao logistica multinomial, na forma bruta e em dois modelos ajustados, foram empregados para avaliar as associacoes. Os resultados evidenciaram que a utilizacao de variaveis moderadoras nas analises ajustadas do constructo da satisfacao no trabalho auxiliou na compreensao das alteracoes de percepcoes dos professores ao longo da vida. Situacao contraria foi demonstrada na avaliacao do estilo de vida, o qual revelou que a analise bruta foi a principal maneira de observar diferencas significativas na maioria dos componentes e no computo geral.
