CONHECIMENTO DE PROFESSORES SOBRE A SÍNDROME DE BURNOUT: PROCESSO, FATORES DE RISCO E CONSEQUÊNCIAS

El Sindrome de Burnout (SB) se caracteriza como un fenomeno psicosocial que ocurre como respuesta cronica a factores estresantes interpersonales en situaciones de trabajo. El presente estudio de diseno cualitativo tuvo como objetivo explorar el conocimiento de los profesores sobre el SB, asi como comprender los elementos que se utilizan para interpretar este proceso. Participaron del estudio seis maestras de la escuela primaria y utilizo un protocolo de entrevista semiestructurada en tres areas de investigacion. El analisis de los datos se realizo mediante el analisis de contenido a partir de seis categorias establecidas a priori, generando nuevas subcategorias analizadas segun el modelo teorico de Gil-Monte (2005) del SB. Los resultados mostraron que, a pesar de algunas aproximaciones al modelo teorico, considerar el SB una especie de estres o depresion indica una falla importante de conocimiento, asi como no nombrarlo ni identificarlo en sus primeras etapas contribuye a su empeoramiento. Aspectos relacionales y caracteristicas organizacionales estan vinculados a factores desencadenantes, asi como el significado y las caracteristicas del trabajo, las expectativas realistas y el apoyo social se perciben como factores protectores del sindrome. El hecho de considerar medidas preventivas centradas en el individuo y en la organizacion demuestra la necesidad de expandir la mirada hacia la esfera macrosocial. Comprender el trabajo, su significado y sus impactos, a partir de la experiencia y del conocimiento de los trabajadores, se constituye como una ensenanza esencial para profundizar el conocimiento sobre el SB y asi proponer alternativas eficaces para la prevencion y promocion de la salud.Burnout Syndrome (BS) is a psychosocial phenomenon that occurs as a chronic response to interpersonal stressors in work-related situations. This qualitative study aimed to explore the knowledge of teachers about the BS and to comprehend the elements used to interpret this process. Six Elementary School teachers participated in the study, and a semi-structured interview protocol was used in three investigations axes. Data was analyzed through content analysis, from six categories defined a priori, generating new sub-categories analyzed according to the BS theoretical model proposed by Gil-Monte. The results pointed that, in spite of some approximations to the theoretical model, considering the BS as a type of stress or depression indicates an important gap in knowledge, just as not naming it or not identifying it in its initial stages contributes to its aggravation. Relational aspects and organizational characteristics are linked to triggering factors, and the meaning and characteristics of a job, realistic expectations and social support are perceived as protective factors of the syndrome. The fact of considering prevention measures centered on the individual and on the organization shows a need for the expansion of the view to the macro social sphere. Understanding the job, its meaning and impacts, based on the experience and knowledge of the workers, constituted an indispensable teaching to deepen the comprehension about the BS and, thus, to propose efficient alternatives of prevention and health promotion.

O papel mediador da autoeficácia na relação entre a sobrecarga de trabalho e as dimensões de Burnout em professores

Resumo O objetivo do presente estudo foi avaliar se a autoeficacia funciona como variavel mediadora na relacao entre a sobrecarga de trabalho e as dimensoes de burnout. Participaram da pesquisa 982 professores de escolas publicas e privadas. Foram utilizados como instrumentos de pesquisa o questionario para avaliacao da sindrome de burnout, versao para professores, a escala geral de autoeficacia e a subescala de sobrecarga laboral da organizational Stress Questionnaire. Os resultados obtidos por meio da analise de regressao linear confirmaram a hipotese de que a autoeficacia desempenha um papel mediador entre a sobrecarga de trabalho e as dimensoes de burnout. O resultado aponta para a importância de intervencoes que contemplem o desenvolvimento da autoeficacia em professores como medida de prevencao ou reabilitacao da sindrome de burnout. Ética profissional e estudantes de contabilidade: análise das variáveis intervenientes

This study aims to evaluate how accounting students perceive professional ethics considering variables linked to individual factors. In terms of methodology, this was a quantitative and exploratory study, and included a cross-sectional questionnaire. The sample represented 455 students at an IES in the southern region of Brazil. Data were analysed with non-parametric Spearman, Kruskal-Wallis and post hoc Dunn- Bonferroni tests. The results show non-religious, under 25-year-old female students working in the financial/accountant field, academically mature and who have studied ethics have individual factors towards more ethic significant attitudes. Furthermore, the professional law and ethics course in the accounting programme affected future professionals’ ethic conduct. Therefore, the individual factors analysed in this study, and the ethic education, significantly influence accounting students’ ethical attitudes. COMPROMETIMENTO ORGANIZACIONAL DOS TRABALHADORES DO SETOR DE LOGÍSTICA DE UMA EMPRESA DO RAMO DO VAREJO

In view of the competitive market today, it is important for companies counting on a work team committed, so that, seek for improvements in its management system and qualification of its services. This study aims to identify the level of organizational commitment of workers of the distribution center Logistics sector of a company retail branch located in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul. Therefore, we attempted to describe the profile of the workers and the main impairment of the features present in the team. The method followed exploratory, descriptive and quantitative, and data collection was through the application of a questionnaire divided into two parts, first with issues that sought to define the profile of the participants and the other one based on the Model of Three Components Meyer and Allen (1997). The analysis occurred through simple descriptive statistics. The results revealed that employees are engaged in the analyzed dimensions: affective, normative and instrumental, highlighting the commitment to affective dimension. It is suggested that further studies addressing involve different approaches and tools developed by other authors, since the topic is broad and complex.
