The presented paper deals with the alternative of determination of state of new belt types of the belt gear in case of a designed device. The developing and structural-design stage, during which realization of a testing device was performed with Autodesk Inventor program, was followed by a production technology design. An electric motor serves as a device drive and belt gear with the other electric motor representing a system load factor. The frequency converters diagnosed by the software intended for the purpose drive both motors. Through a simple adjustment of the designed device, diverse types and dimensions of the belts and belt pulleys can be changed. Monitoring and diagnostics of the tracked parameters was performed by the sensors fixed in the positions prescribed in advance. All the parameters can be assessed by a PC.

The submitted paper deals with analyses of impact of water jet technology head vibrations due to variations of kinds and granularity of abrasive during steel cutting manufacturing process using AWJ technology. The paper points at necessity to diagnose and subsequently eliminate possible sources of adversed vibrations. They can influence lifetime and wear of water jet technology head, they can lower reliability as well as cutting edge quality.

The paper deals with a research of technology parameters fluctuation effect on AWJ production system technology head vibration generation during alloy cutting production process. The submitted paper points at possible sources of undesirable vibrations: technology head shift speed, kind and abrasive granularity, which can be a reason of reliability and AWJ technology production systems lifetime reduction, and of abrasive nozzle wear increasing as well as of cutting edge quality reducing.

The paper describes abrasive kind and granularity change impact to technology head vibration generating during cutting of seven selected investigated kinds of steel by means of AWJ technology. The investigation of abrasive granularity impact is carried out for three speeds of the technology head shift. A set of 3D comparative graphs of vibration parameter relations for seven analyzed kinds of steel from graphical records of vibration acceleration amplitude to frequency relation was created. On the base of the comparative graphs a discussion about results is generated and conclusions are defined. The work presents a thematically integrated part of a dissertation results and completes a group of recent knowledge focused on production systems working state diagnostics with the water jet technology.

All components of a huge machine tool need to work together perfectly to ensure not only a quality finished product, but operator safety. One of those many components is the material of support panels and moving parts in the machine construction. Mechanical structure of the machine, in most cases does not reach the technical level of regulatory techniques or electric drives and potential increase in dynamics, speed or accuracy of the machines remain unused. Used classic construction materials, steel or light alloy then zoom in to limit their physical capabilities. Designers have machine tools or robots are forced to solve the formidable task in the form of reducing the weight of the moving parts while maintaining or even increasing stiffness with respect to the thermal stability or damping. Laminates are for construction of production machines, robots and manipulators of crucial importance. One big advantage is the high rigidity while maintaining low specific weight. The presented paper is focused on the investigation of composite sandwich construction produced by prepreg technology, which is the suitable production choose for construction of machine tools parts. First of all, the production of sandwich structures with cork core, honeycomb core and foam cores are compared and described. In terms of the production process it is a method very friendly to the environment, since there are no leaks styrene vapours into the air. Since it is important from the perspective of a manufacturer of transport or machine industry manufactured from environmentally friendly materials, so naturally from materials that are from the perspective of safety of passengers (operators of machine tools or robots) at a high level, when any accident was lowest possible hazard due to fire (burn materials used) and terms of the strength of composite materials. This is one of the major scientific articles and to find the most ideal surveyed composite sandwich materials that would be the greatest possible extent fulfils the required properties. In the experimental part of the article are compared and investigated the mechanical characteristics of composite sandwich structures with regard to varying number of layers of predimpregnated skin materials due to the different types of core materials suitable for use in the machine industry. In addition, these characteristics are an important part of the article research because described the influence number of layers to values of the bending stiffness those composite structures.

The submitted paper deals with studying the process how abrasive kind and granularity changes during abrasive-proof material Hardox thickness changing affects AWJ production system technology head vibration generation. The purpose of the paper are undesirable vibration possible sources diagnostics and elimination. The vibrations can affect negatively lifetime and wear of water jet technology head as well as cutting edge quality.

The submitted paper deals with the issue of unconventional technology of material laser cutting. The paper presents particular relations between the influence of gas pressure change and character of cutting surface after experimental measurements.[Gaspar 2013] Gas pressure change was applied in case of the selected sheetmetal thickness. The samples taken during experimental measurements were prepared in cooperation with the private sector which employs the laser cutting technology directly in production. The conclusion contains the results of the measurements and discussion on the respective issue.
