In future communication systems, the millimeter wave frequency spectrum is believed to be very important due to higher information rate, at 60 GHz the cell size can be very small due to the oxygen absorption so the spectrum can be effectively reused. In Sweden there is an ongoing activity in MMIC design and system simulation and design for 60 GHz radio systems involving both academia and industry. In this report, recent results on various nonlinear circuits like frequency multipliers, oscillators, mixers, and frequency dividers are reported. For battery operated systems, the power consumption is an important parameter, but the power consumption of circuit realizations are rarely reported in the literature. With this in mind, some of these circuits were designed to have low dc-power dissipation and we will report this parameter for the circuits.
