A mulher trabalhadora de enfermagem e os distúrbios osteomusculares relacionados ao trabalho

This study investigates the relation between female nurses and osteomuscular disturbances associated with their work. It is clear from the study that Nursing professionals are exposed to a number of unfavorable conditions in their working environment. Predominant complaints are related to the osteomuscular system, which affects mostly females due not only to the biological characteristics of women, but also because of the uneven distribution of work between genders that prevails nowadays.This study investigates the relation between female nurses and osteomuscular disturbances associated with their work. Avaliação da efetividade da assistência pré-natal de uma Unidade de Saúde da Família em um município da Grande São Paulo

Considering the importance of prenatal care quality to reduce maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality, the aim of this study was to evaluate quality in the assistance to low-risk pregnant women by means of quality indicators stated by the Health Ministry. This is an evaluating, quantitative and retrospective study carried out in a Prenatal Service in a Family Health Unit in a city in the state of São Paulo. The results showed that the Family Health Program provides a quality prenatal assistance and that the link established between the Unit professionals and the Health Community Agents with pregnant women is imperative for the adherence to the Prenatal Assistance Program.Visto la importancia de la calidad del cuidado prenatal en la reduccion de la morbidad y mortalidad materna y perinatal, este estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar la calidad de la asistencia prestada a las mujeres embarazadas de bajo riesgo por medio de los indicadores de calidad preconizados por el Ministerio de la salud. Este es un estudio evaluativo, cuantitativo y retrospectivo realizado en un Servicio Prenatal de una Unidad de Salud de la Familia de un Municipio del Estado de Sao Paulo. Los resultados mostraron que el Programa de Salud de la Familia propicia asistencia prenatal de calidad y que el vinculo establecido entre los profesionales de la Unidad y los Agentes Comunitarios de la salud con las mujeres embarazadas es imprescindible para la adhesion de las mismas al programa de Asistencia Prenatal.

Being a nursing teacher, woman and mother: showing the experience in the light of social phenomenology

The trajectory of this study was focused on understanding the experience of being a nursing teacher, woman and mother and reconciling work, motherhood and other daily activities. Participants were 11 women, mothers, teachers at higher education Institutions. Social Phenomenology was adopted for the analysis. The context of meanings was evidenced by categories: Difficulty in performing multiple activities; care of oneself and conciliation of social roles. Women give priority to being a mother, so that they have less time to take care of themselves. In spite of desiring to invest in teaching, they expect to have more time available to be in touch with their children and partner. This study showed that the professional and personal worlds need an interface, which allows for co-existence between the different roles women play in society.A trajetoria deste estudo voltou-se para a compreensao do ser docente de enfermagem, mulher e mae ao conciliar a vida profissional, a maternidade e demais atividades do cotidiano. Participaram 11 mulheres, maes, docentes de instituicoes de ensino superior. Foi adotada a fenomenologia social para analise. O contexto de significados foi evidenciado a partir das categorias: dificuldade no desempenho de multiplicidade de atividades; cuidado de si mesma e conciliacao dos papeis sociais. As mulheres priorizam o ser mae, dispondo de pouco tempo para o cuidado de si mesma; e, embora tenham o desejo de investir na carreira docente, tem a expectativa de ter maior disponibilidade de tempo para o convivio com os filhos e com o companheiro. O estudo mostrou que os universos, profissional e pessoal, necessitam de interface que possibilite a convivencia entre os diversos papeis exercidos pela mulher na sociedade.

The experience of repeated fatherhood during adolescence

OBJECTIVE to examine how adolescent fathers experience recurring parenthood. DESIGN qualitative study with a social phenomenological focus. PARTICIPANTS five fathers between 16 and 19 years of age, each with two children. FINDINGS the participants perceived themselves as mature, responsible, worried about the care and education of their children, and desiring a secure future life. These factors made them seek employment, their own home, marital stability, construction of a family and return to school. They experienced the ambivalence of desiring one reality and living another, given that, as adolescent parents, they regretted the loss of their freedom. KEY CONCLUSIONS recurring parenthood in adolescence is a complex phenomenon, with many possible perceptions. The diverse experiences depend on the social context that is defined by the wishes, plans, possibilities and meanings of each distinct social class. IMPLICATIONS FOR PRACTICE care delivery to these adolescents should consider not only theoretical and chronobiological aspects, but also the experiences of these young people and the psychosocial and cultural factors involved in their fatherhood.

O ensino de enfermagem em saúde mental e psiquiátrica: visão do professor e do aluno na perspectiva da fenomenologia social

O objetivo deste estudo foi compreender o processo ensino-aprendizagem na perspectiva do professor e do aluno que vivenciaram a disciplina de enfermagem em saude mental e psiquiatrica. Analisaram-se os dados coletados por meio de entrevistas com alunos e professores que vivenciaram o fenomeno, segundo o referencial da fenomenologia social. Emergiram categorias concretas de significado do vivido pelos professores : valorizando a comunicacao e a relacao entre as pessoas; aprendendo a considerar o outro como pessoa; valorizando o cuidado integral, desmitificando medos e pre-conceitos e atribuindo significado ao autoconhecimento. Pelos alunos: percebendo a relevância do conhecimento sobre comunicacao e da relacao entre as pessoas; aprendendo a ver o outro como pessoa; aplicando conhecimento adquirido para o cuidado integral; sentindo-se motivado a mudar de atitude; reconhecendo o significado do autoconhecimento. A tipificacao foi descrita ao final. O processo ensino-aprendizagem nessa disciplina, desperta interesse pela especialidade, desenvolvimento pessoal e valorizacao da sua utilizacao na enfermagem geral.

Vivenciando o período puerperal: uma abordagem compreensiva da Fenomenologia Social

The aim of this study was to achieve an understanding of what new mothers served by private health care realize about the postpartum period, as well as identifying what their help and care needs are, during this life cycle. The research development proposition has been grounded on a qualitative research model with the phenomenological approach. Some categories came out from the statements: Taking charge of her child; feeling overloaded, overwhelmed and insecure; sensing herself vulnerable; experiencing a magic and unique emotion; reporting postpartum care satisfaction. After reviewing the categorical analysis, the postpartum living experiences as described by the subjects have been found quite similar to that of women without private health care. Nevertheless, the access to good quality in private health services became an important aspect because it enabled a close subjective relationship of mother and health care professional, allowing a safe postpartum experience.RESUMO Trata-se de estudo qualitativo, realizado com puerperas que possuem convenio saude, visando compreender a experiencia da mulher que vivencia o puerperio e conhecer quais as necessidades de cuidado percebidas por estas mulheres. Fundamentou-se na pesquisa qualitativa, no referencial da fenomenologia social. Dos depoimentos emergiram as categorias: assumindo responsabilidade pelo bebe; sentindo-se sobrecarregada, limitada e insegura; percebendo-se vulneravel; vivenciando um sentimento unico e magico; referindo satisfacao em relacao ao atendimento pos-parto. Os resultados evidenciaram que a vivencia das mulheres no pos-parto e similar a das mulheres que nao possuem convenio saude. No que se refere a assistencia, foi possivel perceber que o fato de possuir convenio saude possibilita a intersubjetividade entre a mulher e o profissional de saude, permitindo vivenciar este periodo de forma mais segura. O cuidar no processo de morrer na percepção de mulheres com câncer: uma atitude fenomenológica

A trajetoria deste estudo voltou-se para a compreensao do significado do cuidar de mulheres com câncer, fora de recursos de cura, pela perspectiva dessas. Com essa proposta, optou-se por realizar pesquisa qualitativa, segundo abordagem fenomenologica, com base nas questoes norteadoras: - Me fale como posso cuidar de voce. Como voce gostaria de ser cuidada? Das descricoes emergiram as unificacoes ontologicas analisadas e interpretadas, segundo referencial de Martin Heidegger. Essas unificacoes possibilitaram desvelar caminhos para a acao do cuidar no processo de morrer que vao alem do conhecimento tecnico-cientifico, pois o cuidar implica tambem empatia, escuta, paciencia, zelo, controle da dor e autonomia. Por meio da otica dessas mulheres, foi permitido alcancar o sentido do ser com câncer no processo de morrer, nao como algo acabado, mas como um ser de possibilidades, mesmo diante da situacao factual que e o convivio com a terminalidade existencial.

Comenta sobre os metodos que tem sido mais utilizados, como: a fenomenologia, a teoria fundamentada nos dados, a etnografia e a pesquisa participante, ressalta a perspectiva de utilizacao destes metodos qualitativos para a enfermagem.

O exame preventivo do câncer cérvico-uterino: conhecimento e significado para as funcionárias de uma escola de enfermagem de uma instituição pública

This is an exploratory descriptive study, carried out at a nursing school, in which 63 non-teacher workers participated. Its objectives were to check their knowledge about screening of cervix-uterine cancer and to know their feelings and expectations as they undergo this test. A questionnaire was used to collect data and the last question was recorded and analyzed using the social phenomenology theoretical framework. The answers provided information which made it possible for us to rethink about adequate assistance guided by humanized actions considering the being in this existential entirety and belonging to a social economical cultural context.This is an exploratory descriptive study, carried out at a nursing school, in which 63 non-teacher workers participated. Teve como objetivos verificar seus conhecimentos sobre o exame preventivo do câncer cervico-uterino e conhecer seus sentimentos e expectativas ao submeterem-se a este exame. Os dados foram coletados por meio de formulario sendo que a ultima questao foi gravada e analisada segundo o referencial teorico metodologico da fenomenologia social. As respostas obtidas permitem repensar sobre atendimento adequado mediante acoes humanizadas que consideram o ser em sua totalidade existencial, pertencente a um contexto socioeconomico e cultural.

A fenomenologia social de Alfred Schutz e sua contribuicao para a enfermagem

Nursing care can be considered a social action that is set in the everyday world, where intersubjective relations are established and must be valued by the nurse in the different contexts in which it acts. It is a theoretical study which aimed to highlight the main concepts of the social phenomenology of Alfred Schutzs and its contribution to Nursing as a knowledge and professional practice field. The following questions guided this study: what is the understanding of caring in Nursing from the perspective of the social phenomenology of Alfred Schutzs? How to apply Alfred Schutzs theoretical concepts in the action of caring in Nursing? The theoretical concepts of the social phenomenology and their interface with Nursing were delimited. By incorporating the concepts of the theory of social action developed by Alfred Schutz into Nursing, this study allows nurses to value and apply the aspects highlighted by this theoretical framework within healthcare, education and scientific research.Nursing care can be considered a social action that is set in the everyday world, where intersubjective relations are established and must be valued by the nurse in the different contexts in which it acts.
