This study was aimed to investigate the activities of sulphur and selenium nanoparticles against Steinernema feltiae (S. feltiae) and their related toxicities gainst neuroblastoma cells (neuro 2A). Aqueous nanoparticles of sulphur and selenium nanoparticles were characterized with a Zetasizer nano at pH 7 and 25° C. The nematode assay was conducted using S. feltiae. The results showed that aqueous sulphur nanoparticles (SNPs) revealed better activities than aqueous selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) against S. feltiae with lethal dose 50 (LD50) around 6,99 μg/mL after incubation for 24 hrs. Meanwhile, live and dead assay of cells were conducted by using Neuro 2A cell lines. Live and dead assay showed that aqueous sulphur nanoparticles (SNPs) revealed better activities than aqueous nanoparticles of selenium (SeNPs) against neuroblastoma cells with IC50 was < 1 μg/mL.
