Strategi Pengembangan Peran Penyuluh Pertanian Lapang di Provinsi Banten

This research aim was to formulate priority of strategy development the role of agriculture extension agent in Banten. To determine the priority of strategy development the role of agriculture extension agent used SWOT and AHP. Result of research indicated that the priority of development Strategy of role the agriculture extension agent in Banten were: (1) Improving the quality of human resouces of extension agent by diklat from other institution to get the ability, knowledge, and skill; (2) Improving of quality of counselling and cooperation with the relevant institution by the existence of fundamental duty clarity and function; (3) Product marketing competitive agriculture by maximizing role of group of farmer; (4) Optimalization of agriculture development with the guarantee of invitation regulation; and (5) Exploiting technology to support the agriculture extinsion program. Model Pengembangan Kompetensi Penyuluh Berbasis Pemanfaatan Media (Kasus Di Kabupaten Karawang dan Garut, Provinsi Jawa Barat)

The present study was to the degree of agricultural extension agents’ competency, the dominant factors influence their competency, and also to formulate the model for developing the competency of agricultural extension agents. The study used explanatory research method on 170 agricultural extension agents who work within paddy farmers area (Karawang) and within vegetable farmers area (Garut). Samples from paddy farmers area were taken by using random sampling technique, while those from vegetable farmers area were taken by using census method. Then a data verification was conducted toward 206 farmers who were the clients of the agricultural extension agents. Data collection was conducted during February to April 2009. Data were analyzed using descriptive technique and path analysis. The result of the study showed that the extent of media utilization and the agricultural extension agents’ competency tended to be at a low level. Pengaruh Interaksi Sosial Komunitas Adat Baduy Luar Terhadap Persepsinya pada Kebutuhan Keluarga

The objectives of this study are (1) to get description the family needs of the Outer Baduy Community, (2) to analyze factors that influence the perception of Outer Baduy Community towards the needs of their families; and (3) To get tentative model of Planned Changes, such as intervention, and things that need to be intervened to fulfill the needs of Outer Baduy Community’s Family. (4) Social Interaction through interpersonal communication and with the agent of change had significant relation to the perception of Heads of family on basic needs, safety, loved, and appreciated are felt, and the perception towards the satisfaction on safety, loved, and appreciated; To develop strategy and policy in fulfilling the needs of SCC family of Baduy can be created through the enhancement of standard family’s needs by making a centre of business practice, discussion forum (community information group), escalation of business facility, community participation, the support by opinion leader in Baduy community, private support, and the motive and the awareness to change is high. Kinerja Penyuluhan di Nusa Tenggara Timur

The objectives of this research were to portray the influence of internal and external factors to the performance of the agricultural extension. The individual characrterization of the agricultural extension agents were the internal factors which assumed to influence toward the performance of agricultural extension and those other i.e the non formal extension education (diklat), the milieu, and the extension organization structure were the external factors. The respondents were selected by the random and purposive sampling method in the three regency as research area. Data analysis was done by using descriptive and Linear Structural Relationship (LISREL) program 8.72 by Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) models. The results of the research showed that the non formal extension education and the extension organization structure were influenced positively and significantly to the performacen of extension (external factors), but those other were not. Luas Lahan dan Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Dasar (Kasus Rumah Tangga Petani Miskin di Daerah Dataran Rendah Kabupaten Seluma)

The mayority of the poor farmers have relativity enough land, approximately 1 Ha per household. Their poverty is considered as relatively poor. There were four factors which make the poor farmers hardly overcome their problems, namely: working pattern which mostly rely on physical potency; low level of adoption of innovation; poverty trap bounding and low competence to manage opportunity and potency. The poor farmers have to be motivated to get involve in learning process. By doing this approachit is hoped that the farmers could change to get bette, more effective dan more productive in land use. Strategi Penyuluhan di Kawasan Konservasi (Kasus Taman Nasional Kepulauan Togean)

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan taman nasional Kepulauan Togean, (2) menganalisa peran penyuluhan dan hubungannya dengan partisipasi masyarakat, dan (3)memformulasikan strategi penyuluhan dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan Taman Nasional Kepulauan Togean (TNKT). Penelitian dilaksanakan di TNKT Slawesi Tengah pada bulan Agustus-September 2008 dan Maret-April 2009. Terdapat lima variabel untuk mengukur partisipasi masyarakat dengan menggunakan analisa Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan perangkat software LISEREL 8.30. Variabel tersebut adalah karakteristik internal, proses penyuluhan, faktor lingkungan, kapasitas dan partisipasi masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses penyuluhan berpengaruh nyata pada kapasitas masyarakat. Kapasitas masyarakat berpengaruh nyata terhadap partisipasi mereka dalam pengelolaan TNKT. Strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi adalah memperbaiki proses penyuluhan yang partisipatif yang memungkinkan masyarakat ikut serta dalam pengambilan keputusan mengenai pengelolaan TNKT. Tingkat Adopsi Inovasi Pengelolaan Tanaman Terpadu (PTT) Padi Sawah di Kecamatan Leuwiliang, Kabupaten Bogor

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat adopsi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi adopsi inovasi PTT padi sawah di Kecamatan Leuwiliang Kabupaten Bogor. Lokasi penelitian adalah di Desa Barengkok dan Desa Leuwimekar, Kecamatan Leuwiliang Kabupaten Bogor yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai bulan Juli tahun 2014. Jumlah responden penelitian adalah 80 petani, ditetapkan dengan acak proposional meliputi 40 petani dari Desa Barengkok dan 40 petani dari Desa Leuwimekar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara langsung dengan petani padi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Tingkat adopsi inovasi Pengelolaan Tanaman Terpadu (PTT) padi sawah di Kecamatan Leuwiliang, Kabupaten Bogor termasuk kategori tinggi (2) Persepsi petani terhadap komponen teknologi inovasi PTT padi tergolong Sangat Tinggi dan (3) Faktor umur, pengalaman berusahatani, penguasaan lahan, ketersediaan informasi teknologi PTT, pengetahuan dan persepsi petani terhadap inovasi PTT berpengaruh nyata terhadap tingkat adopsi inovasi PTT padi. Manajemen Sumberdaya Keluarga Peserta Program Pemberdayaan Masyarakat di Kabupaten Bogor

Pada saat ini banyak keluarga yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menjalani kehidupan yang layak, sehingga pembentukan sumberdaya manusia berkualitas menjadi tidak optimal. Hal penting yang harus dilakukan agar keluarga dapat bertahan menjalani kehidupannya, adalah mengatur sumberdaya yang terbatas melalui manajemen sumberdaya keluarga. Penelitian ini mengkaji manajemen sumberdaya keluarga peserta program pemberdayaan dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Desain penelitian crossectional study dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survei pada 300 responden. Hasil menunjukkan persentase tertinggi responden melakukan manajemen sumberdaya tergolong kurang baik. Terdapat perbadaan yang signifikan manajemen sumberdaya keluarga di Kecamatan Dramaga dengan Kecamatan Leuwisadeng dan Pamijahan (α=0.05). FAktor yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap praktek manajemen sumberdaya keluarga adalah pendapatan perkapita, kualitas komunikasi keluarga, status bekerja suami isteri dan partisipasi dalam kegiatan penyuluhan. Karakteristik Pelanggan Dan Persepsi Pelanggan Terhadap Pelayanan Puskesmas (Kasus di Kota Kotamobagu dan Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Utara, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara)

Clients characteristics and clients perception to the Community health service has been considered as two important aspects. Clients characteristics measured by age, income, works, sex, education background, number of families, distances to community health service, the understanding of mean, goal, and benefit for healthy life. Clients perception to the Community health service measured by medical worker, health services and the cure that has been given has a high level category. Clients satisfaction conducted by Community Health Service tends to be high category.

KETAHANAN PANGAN DAN MEKANISME KOPING RUMAH TANGGA PETANI PADI SAWAH LEBAK BERDASARKAN STATUS KEPEMILIKAN LAHAN

Fulfilling of household food security of lowland rice farmers require sufficient capacities to improve their productivity and income. Nowadays, lowland rice farmers are in difficult conditions and at risk to food security. This research aimed to analyze capacity, food security level, and copying mechanism of lowland rice farmer’s household based on land property right and to analyze the correlation between capacity and food security of lowland rice farmer’s household. This research utilized survey method on 200 lowland rice farmers household at Ogan Ilir and Ogan Komering Ilir District, South Sumatera. The data were analyzed by descriptive and Chi-square test. The results showed that the farmer’s capacities level was at middle category, the farmers’ household food security level was low, and coping mechanism of the farmers household was at high category. There was no significant correlation between capacity and food security of the lowland rice farmers household (p>0,05) also was found in this research.
