Achmad Nizar Hidayanto; Muhammad Azani Hasibuan; Putu Wuri Handayani; Yudho Giri Sucahyo

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a product that enables organizations achieving their competitive advantage. However, the failures of ERP implementation are still considered quite high. This research was conducted to formulate the framework of self-assessment of open source ERP implementation readiness, which focused on the ERP pre-implementation aspects. The proposed ERP implementation readiness assessment framework was developed using the Fuzzy-based ANP (Fuzzy ANP), where the examined readiness factors are grouped into three categories, namely project management, organizational, and change management readiness. In order to see the application of the framework, we conducted a case study on an SME engaged in software development. We did focus group discussion with Chief Technology Officer, Chief Strategy Officer and Project Manager. The results showed that the company is not ready to implement open source ERP. Although the company is strong in the human resources aspect, they are still weak in other aspects so that they need some strategies to improve their level of readiness before implementing open source ERP.

Achmad Nizar Hidayanto; Hamzah Saifulhaq; Putu Wuri Handayani

This study aims to analyze the influence of trust, concern and risks perception toward the intentions of customers to conduct e-commerce transaction. In order to see the influence of these factors, we construct an online questionnaire and distribute it to various sites and forums using quota sampling methods. We obtained 101 valid data and analyzed them by using Spearmans rho correlation analysis to determine the relationship between each variable and path coefficient analysis to prove the hypothesis. Interestingly, online customers in Indonesia tend not to think risk as something that affects their intentions when performing online transaction. Attitude and perceived behavioral control had more influence on the online customer in Indonesia to conduct online transactions.

In order to increase their competitive advantage, SMEs need to implement ERP system. However, most of ERP systems in the today market are very complex and not suitable for Indonesian SMEs. This paper presents the requirements of Indonesian SMEs’ main business processes which are focusing in marketing, distributing, selling and production processes by randomly distributing questionnaires to SMEs. Based on our analysis, those processes are urgently needed to be standardized and implemented in ERP system due to their strategies to increase their market share. In addition, this study also conducts the comparison of ERP systems through thorough observation to give insight for SMEs owners if they choose to buy an ERP system. According to our observation, SAP Business One or Compiere Community Edition could be selected by SMEs due to their detailed and complete processes.

Putu Wuri Handayani; Achmad Nizar Hidayanto; Indra Budi

ABSTRACT This study reviews the literature on the most important acceptance factors associated with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and related technologies based on user groups’ perspectives (medical staff, hospital management, administrative personnel, patient, medical student, and IT staff), which can assist researchers and hospital management to develop suitable acceptance models to improve the quality of HIS. We conducted searches in online databases with large repositories of academic studies, written in English and fully accessible by the authors. The articles being reviewed are related to health information technology (HIT), clinical information systems (CIS), HIS, electronic medical records (EMR), telemedicine or telehealth, picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), radio frequency identification (RFID), and computerized physician order entry (CPOE), where the use of most of those applications and technologies is highly integrated. A predefined string was used to extract 1,005 articles, and the results were reviewed and checked. The results of this study found 15 user acceptance factors related to HIS and related technologies that were frequently identified by a minimum of five previous studies. These factors were related to individual, technological, and organizational factors. In addition, HIS and related technologies’ user acceptance factors in each user group describe different results.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to identify and rank user acceptance factors regarding the implementation of hospital information systems (HIS) based on the views of the following user groups: doctors, nurses, hospital management, and administrative staff (operators). The results should provide guidance for hospital management and HIS developers on meeting user requirements. The study was carried out using both qualitative and quantitative methods. The authors conducted interviews and distributed questionnaires to doctors, nurses, hospital management, and administrative staff in a government-owned Indonesian public hospital. Entropy measurements were used to analyze the questionnaire data. The study identified 15 important HIS user acceptance factors, which were ranked differently by each user group. The results show that non-technological dimensions, such as human and organizational dimensions, influence HIS user acceptance to a greater extent than technological dimensions. More work should be carried out to gain a better understanding of the relationship between user acceptance factors in order to increase the success of HIS implementations.

Achmad Nizar Hidayanto; Rinaldi; Putu Wuri Handayani; Samuel Louvan

The web-based applications are getting popular due to the ease of development and access that enables users to use them without any limitation of time and place. However, the web faces various risks, particularly to those that exploit applications and systems vulnerabilities. Unfortunately, most of web developers only focus on the application functionality and user interface. This study develops a framework to measure the security awareness level of web developers. We apply the framework to web developers in Indonesia. Our survey results show that their security awareness is in the medium level, thus some aspects need to be improved.

Achmad Nizar Hidayanto; Luqman Syauqi Hidayat; Puspa Indahati Sandhyaduhita; Putu Wuri Handayani

This study is conducted to analyse factors that influence the behavioural intention to use e-payment system on e-commerce in Indonesia. The proposed model in this research combines behavioural theory of technology acceptance in terms of behavioural beliefs, social influences, and personal innovativeness with the characteristics of an ideal payment system. The model was tested by the structural equation modelling SEM using LISREL 8.8 software. The analysis result of 203 respondents showed that Indonesian customers tend to only consider the advantages they gain when adopting e-payment and ignore the risks associated with the technology. Concerning e-payment system characteristics, it was also proven that ease of use, privacy, trust, security, and convertibility influence directly and indirectly the intention to adopt e-payment.
