O ensino de enfermagem e as diretrizes curriculares nacionais: utopia x realidade

Este articulo pretende provocar reflexiones acerca de la ensenanza de la enfermeria a la luz de las Directivas Curriculares del Pregrado de Enfermeria y su relacion con las politicas de salud y el actual mercado de trabajo. Los hechos relatados muestran que los cambios curriculares, en la ensenanza de la enfermeria en Brasil, estuvieron historicamente centrados en la adecuacion de la formacion del enfermero a los intereses del mercado de trabajo. Entretanto, el reto en la formacion precisa sobrepasar el foco de esos intereses e insertar efectivamente al futuro enfermero en el sistema de salud, comprometido con las transformaciones exigidas por el ejercicio de la ciudadania.This article aims at provoking reflections concerning Nursing education in the light of the Curricular Directives for the Undergraduate Course in Nursing and their relation to health policies and the current labor market. The facts reported show curricular changes in Nursing education in Brazil have historically been concerned with the adequacy of the nurses formation to the interests of the labor market. However, the challenge in nurses formation needs to overcome the focus of these interests and to effectively insert the future nurse into the health system, committed to the transformations demanded for the exercise of citizenship.

A busca da graduação em enfermagem como opção dos técnicos e auxiliares de enfermagem

The aim of this study was to understand the reasons that lead both nursing technicians and assistants to enter undergraduate nursing programs. This study was carried out in a teaching hospital in the city of Sao Paulo, under a qualitative research perspective, and the methodologies adopted were the Thematic Oral History and the Thematic Categorical Analysis. There were eleven participants: three nursing technicians and eight nursing assistants.The aim of this study was to understand the reasons that lead both nursing technicians and assistants to enter undergraduate nursing programs. This study was carried out in a teaching hospital in the city of Sao Paulo, under a qualitative research perspective, and the methodologies adopted were the Thematic Oral History and the Thematic Categorical Analysis. There were eleven participants: three nursing technicians and eight nursing assistants.

Publicações sobre ensino em enfermagem na Revista da Escola de Enfermagem da USP

Scientific production in nursing education field provide important contributions to professional formation and nursing practice. Since we believe this perspective, we carried out a survey aimed at identifying and analyzing nursing education-related articles, building empiric categories from the collected data. This revision is a bibliographical, descriptive and quantitative survey using as source articles published in the Revista da Escola de Enfermagem da USP from 1967 to 2002. We have found 1,137 articles, of which 14.2% refer to nursing education, 89.0% of which are concerned with the undergraduate level. The descriptive analysis of nursing education-related bibliography gives rise to issues concerning the development of research that follow changes in the legislation changes and the demands of the professional market.Scientific production in nursing education field provide important contributions to professional formation and nursing practice. Percepção dos enfermeiros sobre a avaliação da aprendizagem nos treinamentos desenvolvidos em um hospital de São Paulo

Este estudo foi realizado com os enfermeiros de um hospital universitario da cidade de Sao Paulo, objetivando conhecer sua percepcao sobre o processo de valiacao da aprendizagem nos treinamentos desenvolvidos junto a eles. Para a coleta de dados utilizou-se um instrumento contendo a questao norteadora: Qual a sua percepcao sobre a avaliacao da aprendizagem nos programas de treinamento? Os discursos foram analisados, segundo o referencial de Bardin, na modalidade analise de conteudo. Os resultados mostraram as posicoes dos enfermeiros em tres categorias distintas: 1) dificuldades percebidas no processo de avaliacao da aprendizagem em que a disponibilidade de tempo, sentimentos negativos quanto a avaliacao e despreocupacao com os resultados dos treinamentos sao os desafios a serem trabalhados no dia-a-dia; 2) metodologia desenvolvida no processo de avaliacao da aprendizagem devendo considerar diferentes ritmos de aprendizado, sua experiencia e historia de vida e conhecimentos anteriores e 3) a avaliacao do processo ensino-aprendizagem como um indicador preciso das acoes passadas e controle da qualidade do ensino adotado no treinamento.This study was carried out with nurses of a university hospital in São Paulo. It was aimed at understanding their perception regarding the learning evaluation process in the training sessions they attended. In order to collect data, the authors used an instrument with the guiding question: Whats your perception of the learning evaluation process in training programs? The discourses were analyzed according to Bardins referential in the content analysis modality. The results showed opinions in three categories: 1) the difficulties noticed in the evaluation process, in which time availability, negative feelings towards the evaluation and little concern for training results are challenges nurses have to overcome daily; 2) the methodology used in the evaluation process, which should consider the different learning styles, and the experience, life history and previous knowledge of the professionals being trained; and 3) the teaching-learning evaluation process as an accurate indicator of past actions and a quality control of the teaching methods adopted in the training sessions.

O ensino da administração em enfermagem: percepção diante da vivência profissional

Este estudo teve por objetivo desvelar a compreensao de um grupo de enfermeiras egressas da Escola de Enfermagem da USP, quanto disciplina Administracao aplicada a Enfermagem ministrada no Curso de Graduacao em Enfermagem da Escola de Enfermagem da Universidade de Sao Paulo. Para tanto buscou-se como trajetoria metodologica a fenomenologia, tendo MARTINS;BICUDO como autores basicos e eixo principal da pesquisa. Guiadas por este referencial, realizou-se o estudo junto a oito enfermeiras, fazendo a descricao e a compreensao dos seus discursos e buscando trazer o significado que foi percebido do fenomeno estudado. Da analise fenomenologica dos relatos das enfermeiras emergiram possibilidades e limites do ensino da referida disciplina.

UMA EXPERIÊNCIA DE ENSINO NA DISCIPLINA ADMINISTRAÇÃO APLICADA À ENFERMAGEM

In this study, the teachers of the Administrations discipline applied in Nursing, discourse on the philosophy on which they were based for achieving professional level. They point at the importance of the following: to reflect on the nature of the social and health transformation process, taking into account the part that the professional must have, technical-scientific competence and a critical involvement with the reality. The educational process is seen as the moment in which the reflexion of reality is realized together with the involvement in finding proposals for change. A description of the contents and the objectives of the discipline is made, related with the competence skills to be developed by the student during this course and the strategies that are being used.In this study, the teachers of the Administrations discipline applied in Nursing, discourse on the philosophy on which they were based for achievery professional level. They point at the importance of the following: to reflect on the nature of the social and health transformation process, taking into account the part that the professional must have, thecnical-cientific competence and a critical envolvement with the reality. The educational process is seen as the moment in which the reflexion of reality is realized together with the envolvement in finding proposals for charger. Perception of nurses on the learning evaluation process in training programs in a São Paulo hospital

Ensino de enfermagem em nível médio: utilização de estratégia facilitadora com material reciclável

The objective of this study was developing facilitator strategies in the teaching and learning process, using recyclable materials in the medical-surgical nursing discipline for 31 students in a middle level course on the formation of nursing assistants. After studying bibliographical references related to Anatomy, Physiology and most common Pathologies in the several systems of the human body, the students selected the disposable recyclable materials for the confection of the main anatomical structures, which made it possible the visualization of the morphologic alterations, facilitating the understanding of the clinic-surgical diseases. The use of these strategies enabled the acquisition of knowledge when they projected in something concrete, result of the exchange of suggestions and experiences among the students, favored by group work.Este estudo teve como objetivo desenvolver estrategias facilitadoras no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, utilizando-se de materiais reciclaveis na construcao de estruturas e orgaos anatomicos. Foi desenvolvido na disciplina Enfermagem Medico-Cirurgica, a 31 alunos no curso de nivel medio para formacao do Auxiliar de Enfermagem. Apos leituras de referencias bibliograficas relacionadas a Anatomia, Fisiologia e Patologias mais comuns dos diversos sistemas do corpo humano, os alunos selecionaram os materiais reciclaveis disponiveis para a confeccao das principais estruturas anatomicas, o que possibilitou a visualizacao das alteracoes morfologicas decorrentes das afeccoes, facilitando assim a compreensao das patologias. As estrategias utilizadas favoreceram a aquisicao de conhecimentos ao se projetarem em algo concreto, resultado da troca de sugestoes e experiencias entre os estudantes, favorecido pelo trabalho em grupo.
