APLIKASI KRIPTOGRAFI PESAN SHORT MESSAGE SERVICE PADA SMARTPHONE BERBASIS ANDROID DENGAN METODE PLAYFAIR CIPHER

The current technological developments, allows humans to communicate and exchange information remotely. Along with the demands for security against the confidentiality of the information exchanged is increasing. Therefore, it is developing branch of science that studies on ways of securing data or better known as cryptography. Playfair cipher method is one method for text encoding cryptography. This study aims to develop an application of cryptography SMS (Short messsage Service) on the android based smartphone with Playfair cipher method, which can send SMS messages cryptography and receive text messages encrypted and then decrypted. These applications do cryptography in text form letters. The key used in the form of letters. The results of this study are in the form of android-based application that can make sending SMS messages that have been encrypted using the Playfair cipher method, so that the confidentiality of the message can be gated. Keywords : Cryptography, SMS, Smartphone, Android, Playfair Cipher. Perkembangan teknologi sekarang ini, memungkinkan manusia dapat berkomunikasi dan dapat bertukar informasi secara jarak jauh. Seiring dengan itu tuntutan akan keamanan terhadap kerahasiaan informasi yang saling dipertukarkan tersebut semakin meningkat. Oleh karena itu, dikembangkanlah cabang ilmu yang mempelajari tentang cara-cara pengamanan data atau lebih dikenal dengan Kriptografi. Metode playfair cipher merupakan salah satu metode kriptografi untuk penyandian teks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun suatu aplikasi kriptografi pesan SMS (Short Messsage Service) pada smartphone berbasis android dengan metode playfair cipher, yang dapat mengirim kriptografi pesan SMS dan menerima pesan teks terenkripsi yang kemudian didekripsi. Aplikasi ini melakukan kriptografi pada teks berupa huruf. Kunci yang digunakan berupa huruf. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah berupa aplikasi berbasis android yang dapat melakukan pengiriman pesan SMS yang telah terenkripsi menggunakan metode playfair cipher, sehingga kerahasiaan dari pesan tersebut dapat terjaga keamanannya. Comparative Analysis of Tsukamoto and Sugeno Fuzzy Methods For Procurement Optimization

Baseline characteristics of students’ knowledge in the concept of learning technology is required. One is the students learning style characteristics including attitudes, cognitive and psychomotor or skills. Then, characteristics of learning styles based approach sensory preferences, including visually, auditory, and kinesthetic or learning by doing/movement and touch. In this study, methods of teaching as a learning process consisting of multimedia-based teaching, lectures, demonstrations, problem solving, discussion, exercises (drill), case studies, frequently asked questions, and experiment. Three types of questionnaire consisting of the distribution characteristics of student learning styles, the tendency of students learning methods, and the tendency of lecturers teaching methods have been implemented. In order to determine the grade level of each questionnaire with grade visual (V), auditory (A), kinesthetic (K), auditory-kinesthetic (AK), and visual-auditory (VA) have been exploited. The results showed that the relationship between these three variables has yielded a value of 68.2%. It means that the FIS method could be used in order to assess the performance relationship.applicant selection system by using Tahani fuzzy logical method and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). This research is designed due to the job applicant selection system that hasn’t been optimized so that the management of an institution as well as a company faces some difficulties and barners in selecting the perfect human resources to be hired. The method applied in this research are Tahani fuzzy logical method and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) producing web application-based software system that can handle the job applicant selection process by analyzing the data of job application as well as job applicant’s data. This kind of system produced some outputs consisting of job-applicant candidate rank, ideal job applicant rank, and also final rank.

Expert system applications for early diagnosis teeth and oral disease in children

Teeth and mouth disease is one of the most common health problems complained by Indonesian society. Especially for children who still lack the awareness to maintain oral health and busy parents who sometimes causing delays in the handling of oral health in children. The purpose of this research is to make the application of expert system for the diagnosis of teeth and oral diseases in children. This application diagnoses diseases with using method of forward chaining and Bayes Theorem. The methods are to create a decision tree, then do a search with forward chaining, and calculating values by the method of Bayesian probability. The results of research in the form of expert system applications that can diagnose oral disease in children with enough accuracy can help in addressing the problem of oral diseases in children.
