The objective of this article was to analyze some cultural aspects of women who have experienced normal deliveries at hospitals of the National Health System. It is a qualitative research, and its theoretic-methodological reference was the Theory of Social Representation. For data collection ten women who had normal childbirth were interviewed. As a result, we could notice that many of the aspects that they had experienced were mostly associated to an institutional culture that revealed a treatment based on violence, and disrespect to the principles of the Birth Humanization Program created by the Brazilian Health Ministry. We concluded that there are still a lot of investments to be done to improve the quality of the assistance given to labor deliveries at the studied hospitals. Partimos do pressuposto de que ha uma estreita convergencia entre educacao-cuidado-politicidade quando se deseja a garantia aos direitos das pessoas em situacoes cronicas de saude. Assim, foi objetivo desta reflexao evidenciar a imbricacao que ha entre o cuidado em saude e em enfermagem, a educacao para a saude e a politicidade que os permeia. Partindo da apresentacao parcial dos dados de uma pesquisa exploratoria realizada junto a pessoas portadoras de estomia em um hospital publico do Estado de Mato Grosso pudemos discutir a estreita relacao que ha entre a educacao, o cuidado e a formacao do sujeito politico, seja ele aluno, profissional ou usuario de servico de saude.

To describe strategies that might promote technical and cultural and common knowledge dialogue between nurses and mothers during the mother-child binomial nursing consultation. A purposive sample of 30 women who had regular nursing consultation appointment was used. Data were collected throughout a period of 6 months and consisted of taking notes of verbal discussions with women regarding their experiences with mother-child binomial nursing care. Data were recorded using field diary. The model of nursing care was modified during data collection to attend the mother-child binominal needs. Strategies to modify the model of nursing care to enhance dialogue between nurses and the mother-child binomial might be essential to improve efficacy and humanization of nursing care.

This article points out the contributions that the theory of institutional analysis can give on the study of the inter-relations between state health services and its clientele. This theoretical model has instruments that can increase the autonomy of clients and professionals, as well as improve the quality of the services provided. The methodology adopted questions the theoretical model through this essay which adopted pressumpositions, concepts and ideas from the Institutionalist Movement by Gregório Baremblitt.Neste artigo expus as contribuicoes que a linha teorica da analise institucional pode dar para o estudo das inter-relacoes entre os servicos publicos de saude, a enfermagem e a sua clientela. Essa linha teorica possui instrumentos que podem nao so ampliar a autonomia dos clientes e profissionais como melhorar a qualidade dos servicos prestados. A metodologia adotada foi problematizar primeiramente a questao teorica, atraves desse ensaio feito a partir dos pressupostos, conceitos e nocoes do Movimento Institucionalista analisados por Gregorio Baremblitt.

Neste artigo foi nosso objetivo problematizar a carencia socio-economica dos usuarios de um servico publico de saude como um dos condicionadores da precarizacao do atendimento aos seus direitos de saude. Dentro dessa perspectiva, trabalhamos com a ideia de direitos e vulnerabilidade, partindo do pressuposto de que ha novas nocoes a serem incorporadas para que a enfermagem pense sua praxis tendo o usuario como aliado na reivindicacao por melhores condicoes de trabalho. Assim, concluimos que esta e a categoria profissional que abriga em si maiores possibilidades de ampliacao da sensibilidade no que se refere a nocao de vulnerabilidade do usuario sob seus cuidados, pois muitos dos seus componentes tambem sao usuarios de servicos publicos de saude, sofrendo os mesmos constrangimentos que a grande massa de usuarios e agregando esforcos entre usuarios e trabalhadores, torna-se possivel criar um contexto mais favoravel para o desenvolvimento de melhores condicoes de trabalho nos servicos publicos de saude.1 Doutora. En este articulo hicimos un ensayo sobre las cuestiones de la subjetividad que estan en juego en la gestion de cuidados en servicios de salud por la enfermera. Asi, buscamos elementos en los estudios desarrollados sobre planificacion e gestion, en la Sociologia del Cotidianoey igualmente en la Teoria Feminista, mayormente en los aspectos referentes a la gestion del cuidado en salud. Hemos concluido que hay necesidad de actualizarse las potencialidades de la enfermera como gerente y asi, auxiliar en la revalorizacion de aspectos y sentimientos hasta hoy desconsiderados en el espacio-tiempo de la institucion de salud, tales como, la subjetividad, la relacionalidad, el deseo, la creatividad, la responsabilidad, entre otros.In this article we intended to write an essay about the subjective questions that are at stake in the management of health care services by the nurse. So, we looked for elements in some of the studies developed about planning and administration, in the Sociology of Daily Life and also in the Feminist Theorization, related to health care management. We concluded that there is a need to improve the nurses potentiality as a manager, starting with the referred theoretical perspectives, increasing the value of some aspects and feelings that have not been taken into consideration up to now in the time-space of health institutions, such as subjectivity, relationality, desire, creativity, responsibility, among others.

In this reflection we problematize the action of caring and teaching how to care in nursing based on some of Pierre Bourdieus concepts about domination and symbolic power. The basic tenet of this work was to think of education as something vital for our existence on Earth. In this article, we used Pedro Demos ideas as a reference to talk about education, which is understood as a developer of political subjects and as something far beyond formal knowledge management. It is the very first base on which human autonomy is built, and it leads to a constant growth of opportunities to exercise citizenship, qualifying our everyday existence. The general objective of this study was to learn about the pedagogical practices that are already in use in nursing teaching in order to identify and analyze those that have brought changes and innovation. This field study used a qualitative and comparative approach, and the subjects were nursing professors and students. The data was collected through individual interviews and focal groups. Data analysis was based on the Institutional Analysis method. Several pedagogical practices were recognized, from the most traditional to those considered innovative, and it was noticed that changes are already present and are part of a set of elements caused by the obsolescence of values that are now considered to be insufficient or inappropriate by professors themselves. The study revealed that the activity of teaching and the qualification of the pedagogical practices are always desired by professors.O objetivo geral da pesquisa foi conhecer as praticas pedagogicas que ja vem sendo desenvolvidas no ensino de Enfermagem, para identificar e analisar aquelas que promoveram mudancas e inovacoes pedagogicas. A pesquisa foi de abordagem qualitativa, comparativa e de campo. Os sujeitos do estudo foram docentes e discentes de enfermagem. Os dados foram obtidos por entrevistas individuais e os grupos focais foram analisados pelo metodo da Analise Institucional. Identificaram-se praticas pedagogicas diversas nos dois cursos, desde as mais tradicionais ate aquelas consideradas inovadoras. Constatou-se que as mudancas ja estao presentes e fazem parte de um conjunto de fatores resultantes da ruptura com valores que comecam a ser considerados insuficientes ou inadequados pelos proprios docentes. A pesquisa demonstrou que a atividade de ensinar e a qualificacao da pratica pedagogica passam indelevelmente pelo desejo do sujeito que ensina.

The objective of this research was to understand the subtile faces of violence, power and symbolic domination present in the actions and health practices of various professionals of the area, directed to women in the situation of pregnancy, delivery and post-partum. The theoretical referentials adopted to interpret the data was Pierre Bourdieus economy of symbolic changes. Some reflections on autonomy and heteronomy, power, violence and force as analyzed by Chaui were also incorporated. The subjects of this research were eleven women in situation of pregnancy, delivery and post-partum admitted to a public health service. In order to obtain the data, I used the interview and the participant observation of the relation studied. I concluded that in the relations that occur between patients and medical team, symbolic elements are present and they contribute greatly to the invisibility of this modality of violence, which is greatly present in health practices.El objetivo de la investigacion fue aprehender los sutiles aspectos da la violencia, del poder y de la dominacion simbolicos y presentes en las acciones y las practicas de la salud de los diversos profesionales del area, dirigidas a la mujer en las etapas de gestacion, parto y puerperio. El referencial teorico adoptado para la interpretacion de los datos fue la economia de los cambios simbolicos de Pierre Bourdieu, habiendo tambien la incorporacion de algunas reflexiones en relacion a la autonomia y heteronomia, poder, violencia y fuerza, conforme los analiza Chaui. Los sujetos de la investigacion fueron once mujeres en situacion de gestacion, parto y puerperio internadas en un servicio publico de la salud. Utilizamos para hacer la recoleccion de los datos la entrevista y la observacion participante de las relaciones estudiadas. Se concluyo que las relaciones que ocurren entre las pacientes y el equipo medico, presentan elementos simbolicos que contribuyen para la invisibilidad de esta modalidad de violencia bastante presente en todas las practicas de la salud.
