In article results calculation of energy the ultrasonic vibrations disseminated in a welding zone of thermoplastic materials in view of reflecting and passing properties of borders welded materials, support and the working tool of oscillatory system are presented. Dependence of time necessary for bonding of materials, in view of properties, thickness, amplitude, frequency of ultrasonic welding is certain. The found criterion definition quantity of energy injected in a welding zone and time of ultrasonic influence is recommended to be used for management of ultrasonic welding process and for formation of qualitative welded connection thermoplastic materials.

The paper is devoted to the design of formation of continuous seam by the ultrasonic welding. The base of the device is developed vibrating system consisting of the piezoelectric transducer of longitudinal ultrasonic vibrations with the working tool, which provides the transformation of longitudinal vibrations into radial ones. Designed welder helps to achieve tight joint of thermoplastic materials with different thickness due to the regulation of broaching speed and amount of clearance between the bearing and the working tool.

Ultrasonic welding is the most perspective method of obtaining of qualitative welded connection of thermoplastic polymer materials. In the article the results of investigations on the development of specialized ultrasonic vibrating systems for ultrasonic circular welding are presented. The designed ultarsonic vibrating systems are recommended to apply for ultrasonic welding of the goods made of thermo-plastic materials, where it is necessary to obtain the tight connection of the circular seam.

The article presents the results of development of new type of unit-dose pack with special guide ways providing even laying of the spreads. The technology is based on ultrasonic welding. As a result of experimental studies we chose polymer materials for the production of soft unit-dose packs, proposed the method of process automation of its production and designed the construction of automated ultrasonic welding line.

The article is devoted to the development and design of automated conveyor line for ultrasonic welding of the wares made of thermoplastic materials. Produced automated line is intended for ultrasonic welding of circular seam of two workpieces of thermoplastic spherical wares.

The article describes designing and running of electronic generators for ultrasonic intensification of processes in gas media. Based on the analysis of specific features of modern piezoelectric vibrating systems with disk radiators generating high-amplitude flexural vibrations (high Q-factor, multifrequency, multipack of piezoelectric elements), the general requirements for electronic generators are stated and new approaches and design of continuous inspection of system parameters and the establishment of the best performance of the electronic generator are introduced.

The article presents the results of the studies aimed at the development of the apparatus for multi-spot ultrasonic welding of the articles made of thermoplastic materials, which is able to provide simultaneous formation of four non-detachable joints. The performance of four joints in the form of rivets allows considerably accelerating welding at the production and increasing quality of end item.

The article presents the results of development of stand for weld quality control, forming by ultrasonic welding. Proposed, developed and realized stand allowed to carry out the control of the process of forming of weld at ultrasonic welding. Results of controlling are allowed to study the process visually and to set the welding modes providing the maximum weld quality.

Results of development of the semi-automatic line of connecting of a polymeric film to a rigid polymeric cap with simultaneous cutting down by means of ultrasonic welding are presented in the article. As a result of the experimental studies the polymeric materials for production of a product are chosen, the way of automation of process of its manufacture is offered and realized. The automated line of ultrasonic welding is made.

The article presents the results of practical application of designed apparatuses for ultrasonic welding of various goods. It is shown the possibilities of formation of the spot and continuous welding seams, which vary in shape and size, due to the use of special welding tool. The recommendations on the application of developed ultrasonic apparatuses in different branches of industry are made.
