The article describes a reflection about the implication of the theoretical and methodological bases of Health Promotion to the development of empowerment technologies. It also discusses the complexity of caring out researches to evaluate the actions in this field. We initiated with a description of a protocol on child development focused on the critical bias of Health Promotion principles. The protocol was implemented by family health teams in critical regions of Sao Paulo city. The researches linked to the protocol evaluated used technologies and the strategies for its implementation. The results pointed that frameworks of Health Promotion contributes to the comprehensive care and strengthening of children and families health. O cuidar da criança de/na rua na perspectiva dos graduandos de enfermagem

As criancas de/na rua vivenciam situacoes que prejudicam seu desenvolvimento. O enfermeiro precisa buscar alternativas para atuar na inclusao social dessas criancas. Este estudo teve esse proposito: relacionar alternativas de intervencoes de saude propostas por graduandos de enfermagem para criancas nesse contexto social. Empregou-se o metodo qualitativo de investigacao, de cunho exploratorio e descritivo, para obtencao de dados. Estes foram organizados em categorias e analisados segundo o processo de analise de conteudo. Os resultados indicam que o aluno identifica um papel importante do enfermeiro na integracao da equipe de saude e o estabelecimento de parcerias com instituicoes sociais. Este estudo tambem mostra que os estudantes foram capazes de definir cuidados de enfermagem especificos para as criancas de/na rua que valorizam as necessidades do ser humano em âmbito social e politico.Street children go through experiences that damage their development. Nurses must search for alternatives in order to play a different role in the social inclusion of these children. This study has the following purpose: to enlist health intervention alternatives proposed by nursing students for children who live in such a social context. A qualitative method has been adopted with an exploratory and descriptive matrix in order to gather data. The data was organized in categories and analyzed by the method of content analysis. The results indicate that the students identify the nurse as an important part of the health team and with setting partnerships with social facility workers. The study also shows that the students are able to define specific nursing care among street children that values human needs in a social and political scenario. RESUMEN: Los ninos sin hogar viven situaciones que perjudican su desarrollo. El enfermero debe buscar alternativas para actuar en la inclusion social de estos ninos. Este estudio tuvo el proposito de relacionar alternativas de intervenciones en la salud propuestas por alumnos de graduacion en enfermeria para los ninos en ese contexto social. Se empleo el metodo cualitativo de investigacion, de cuno exploratorio y descriptivo, para la obtencion de los datos. Estos fueron organizados en categorias y analizados segun el proceso del analisis de contenido. Los resultados indican que los alumnos identifican un rol importante del enfermero en la integracion del equipo de la salud y la articulacion con instituciones sociales. Este estudio tambien muestra que los estudiantes fueron capazes de definir los cuidados de enfermeria especificos para los ninos sin hogar, asi mismo, que se valorice las necesidades del ser humano en el ambito social y politico. Metodologia Problematizadora em Humanização do Cuidado ao Recém-Nascido: Leitura Donabediana Sobre Treinamento em Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal em Hospital do Litoral do Estado de São Paulo

A morbimortalidade perinatal persiste e constitui um desafio para a garantia da qualidade da gestao com foco na humanizacao do cuidado prestado ao recem-nascido em unidades de terapia intensiva. Objetivo: descrever a replicacao de um treinamento em humanizacao do cuidado do RN com foco na qualidade da assistencia de uma equipe de unidade de terapia intensiva neonatal de um hospital publico do litoral do estado de Sao Paulo. Metodo: estudo de caso estruturado na metodologia da problematizacao e fundamentado no referencial donabediano. Resultados: foram treinados 26 profissionais da assistencia e da gestao hospitalar que registrou reducao de infeccoes neonatais, menor rotatividade das equipes na assistencia ao recem-nascido e promocao do cuidado humanizado. Conclusao: esse modelo educacional forneceu elementos para a incorporacao de boas praticas com foco na humanizacao do cuidado e enfatizou a melhoria crescente da qualidade prestada por meio da gestao de recursos humanos local. _________________

Objectives: To introduce a basic webliography to access highly qualified evidence-based material on health promotion and disease prevention, aiming at the continuing education of health professionals. Methods: By means of Google® browser, applying the descriptors in sequence to progressively refine the search on Internet and key concepts to be learned, all previously defined by the authors themselves, we proceeded a qualitative analyses of the 20 first listed links for each searched issue and the final selection of the most scientifically relevant ones. Results: The 34 selected links are presented in 4 groups: 23 portals, 5 guides and recommendations, 4 scientific journals and 3 blogs that allow free access to health promotion and disease prevention related subjects, such as: concepts; national and international public policies; epidemiology, statistics and health indicators; diseases screening and prophylaxis; counseling for behavior change of health related habits; and interdisciplinary work. Among the selected links 10 (29%) are written in English while the others are in Portuguese. Conclusions: The identification of reading materials on health promotion and disease prevention available on Internet, many in Portuguese, allowed us to select relevant scientifically qualified literature and turn it accessible to health professionals, enabling the acquisition of new knowledge or quick update.
