Um estudo sobre a satisfação do consumidor esportivo que frequenta estádios de futebol em Belo Horizonte

The sport has been positioned as an important industry in the world economy. It is believed that the promotion of relevant sporting events that are scheduled to happen in Brazil, like the FIFA World Cup 2014, will provide a most significant development of this sector. Considering this fact, this research aims to understand the reasons that lead consumers to attend football stadiums, listing factors that may contribute to their greater satisfaction. For data collection three focus groups were held in Belo Horizonte-MG. As a result, it was found that the main reasons that lead the fans to attend the stadiums are: team preference; the importance of the match; social gatherings; accessibility to the tickets, and security assurance. Furthermore, it was possible to identify factors that contribute to satisfaction: outcome of the match be favorable to team preference; entertainment events; better services, fast and safe transport, and comfort of the stadium.

Consumers of organic food and sustainable development in Brazil

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate the reasons why the Brazilian consumer of organic foods chooses this type of food in the retail sector, considering sustainable development. Design/methodology/approach – This was a descriptive study including an exploratory phase. Regarding the methods of research, two focus groups (FGs) were developed in the qualitative phase, and then structural equation modelling was used by means of a cross-sectional survey in a quantitative design. The sample was non-probabilistic, intentionally non-random, for convenience and accessibility (n=560). Organic food consumers were addressed in different types of food retail: supermarkets, restaurants and specialised retailers. Findings – Only one of 12 hypotheses was not confirmed. The FGs provided important information for the development of the questionnaire used in the survey. A IMPORTÂNCIA DO GERENCIAMENTO DE ESTOQUE POR MEIO DA FERRAMENTA CURVA ABC

O objetivo deste trabalho e verificar qual a importância do gerenciamento do estoque por meio da ferramenta conhecida como curva ABC em um almoxarifado de uma instituicao publica, do setor de saude, na cidade de Belo Horizonte (MG). O gestor de almoxarifado necessita conhecer todas as atividades desenvolvidas nesse setor e buscar os recursos disponiveis para um melhor controle do estoque. A ferramenta denominada curva ABC e fundamental para conhecer a importância de cada item dentro do almoxarifado e mostrar quais os que nao possuem muita demanda. A metodologia utilizada foi por meio de uma entrevista estruturada com analises qualitativas e quantitativas, por meio de dados coletados, referentes as movimentacoes dos materiais no periodo fiscal. Foi possivel comprovar as teorias de diversos autores sobre a classificacao da curva ABC, mostrando assim que se torna fundamental utiliza-la para um gerenciamento de estoque possivel de analise. As consideracoes finais mostram que, no almoxarifado estudado, varios itens, identificados como pertencentes a classe C, com um custo financeiro muito alto, necessitam de uma revisao minuciosa para identificar se ha necessidade de todos os materiais dessa classe continuarem sendo estocados.

O esporte tem-se posicionado como importante industria da economia mundial. Acredita-se que a promocao de relevantes eventos esportivos que estao agendados para acontecer no Brasil, como a Copa do Mundo de Futebol de 2014, possibilitarao um desenvolvimento mais significativo dessa industria. Considerando essa realidade, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo entender os motivos que levam os consumidores a frequentarem estadios de futebol, elencando fatores que possam contribuir para sua maior satisfacao. Para a coleta de dados foram realizados tres grupos focais na cidade de Belo Horizonte-MG. Como resultado, constatou-se que os principais motivos que influenciam os torcedores a frequentarem os estadios sao: time de preferencia; importância da partida; encontros sociais; acessibilidade ao ingresso; e garantia de seguranca. Ademais, foi possivel identificar fatores que contribuem com a satisfacao: resultado da partida ser favoravel ao time de preferencia; eventos de entretenimento; servicos de melhor qualidade; transporte rapido e seguro; e conforto do estadio. An analysis of the brazilian's academic production about the organic product consumer behavior from 1997 to 2001

The purpose of this research was to analyze the academic papers that discourse about the organic product consumer behavior published on the main journals and scientific Administration Brazilian events from January 1997 to March 2011. It was chosen a meta-study which, according to Richardson (2007), contributes for a better knowledge of the analyzed theme, in addition to enable the improvement of future studies related to the surveyed subject. The journals that have been surveyed are classified as A1, A2, B1 and B2 in the Qualis System Coordination Improvement of Higher Personnel Level (CAPES). Moreover, the scientific events organized by the National Association of Post-Graduation and Research in Administration (ANPAD) have been also considered. In order to filter the analyzed articles, it was chosen to select all the papers which contained the word “organic” or in the headline, or in the theme or as a keyword. In this first selection were pointed 54 articles and 63 scientific events. In the second phase were analyzed which ones of these 117 papers talked about the consumer´s behavior towards organic food, identifying on the former selection 4 articles published on journals and 10 scientific events. The articles analysis enabled conclusions as: a. most part of the publications as in journals as in proceedings arise from Higher Educational Institutions located on the South (41,38%) and Southeast (34,48%); b. in relation to the articles published on journals and proceedings it was noticed that the majority prefers as a methodology work with surveys in depth and content analysis, nevertheless there is a sign identified during congress showing that this kind of methodology called survey has been showing the researchers` interest; c. it was found that the articles rather adopt the primary data collection and studies of the empirical kind; d. as to the researchers type it was highlighted the exploratory followed by the descriptive and explanatory. Other analysis showed that with respect to the theories and basic concepts established, there is a good stand-in from the academy as to the importance of substantiate the conceptual basis as well as to support the studies according to the kind of sample or the research´s purpose. It was noticed that the weakest part of these publications is the sparse use of formulation of hypothesis and assumptions, missing also in the articles suggested recommendations for future researches and contributions aimed at the management application. Finally, it is concluded that a sample involving other journals in addition to those surveyed and the following study from 2011, it will be possible to analyze the research´s increasing about the consumer´s behavior towards organic food.

A influência da utilização das sacolas compostáveis no comportamento do consumidor de Belo Horizonte

A substituicao de sacolas de plastico convencional por sacolas compostaveis tem sido um tema relevante em termos de debate, tanto para a sociedade, de forma geral, como especificamente para a academia. Pioneira na iniciativa, a cidade de Belo Horizonte sancionou a Lei que dispoe da substituicao das sacolas de plastico convencional pelas compostaveis. Assim, o objetivo deste estudo e identificar a influencia que a utilizacao das sacolas compostaveis trouxe ao comportamento do consumidor belo-horizontino. Para tanto, desenvolveu-se uma pesquisa de campo quantitativa, tendo como instrumento de coleta de dados o questionario, que foi aplicado atraves de uma survey eletronica. Como resultado, verificou-se que o uso de sacolas de plastico convencionais traz uma crescente preocupacao por parte dos consumidores com relacao aos problemas ambientais causados por esse produto. Tambem foi constatada uma maior conscientizacao com relacao ao uso dessas novas sacolas e o reconhecimento da importância dos produtos verdes, os quais estao ganhando espaco no mercado e na vida do consumidor.
