COMPARISON OF PROGRAMMING PRODUCTION OF THIN WALLED PARTS USING DIFFERENT CAM SYSTEMS

Peter Michalik; Jozef Zajac; Michal Hatala; Ján Duplák; Dusan Mital

The article deals with comparing the programming of production of thin-walled parts using CAM software. Were evaluated by the number of clicks buttons and the amount of time during which the G codes generated. One side parts has been produced by the program generated by CAD applications Creo Parametric 2.0 and the other side part using Autodesk Inventor Professional HSM PRO 2016 was made on CNC vertical machining centre Pinnacle VMC 650 S.

Katarina Brezikova; Michal Hatala; Ján Duplák; Dusan Mital; Svetlana Radchenko; Frantisek Botko

Presented article is focused on monitoring of output control. Primary objective of research was design of most effective automated control of output quality for designated product. Proposal of fixture for output control was chosen as way to achieve main objective. According to performed practical analyse was intended final proposal of measuring fixture for chosen product. Manufacturing companies constantly face the problem of operational production processes and systems aimed to achieve demanded manufacturing costs of high quality products and minimizing of consumed resources. Production quality is essential in the field of intensive and emerging strategic industrial sectors as automotive, aviation, cosmonautics, energy industry, medical technology, micromanufacturing, electronics and mechatronics. Obtaining of objective overall production quality is conditional by innovative and integrated quality, manufacturing logistics, effective maintenance, management and control methods.

MONITORING INFLUENCE OF SELECTED PARAMETERS ON SURFACE QUALITY AFTER POLYMER POWDER COATING

Dusan Mital; Jozef Zajac; Zuzana Mitalova; Peter Michalik; Marek Kočiško

Presented article is aimed to powder coating and monitoring surface quality. Powder coating is considered as one layer surface treatment to protect against environment. Thickness of layer is several micrometers (depend on powder type) and meets high requirements and demand on surface protection against scratches, abrasion and other material specifications. Presented article is focused on experimental study of surface roughness influence on surface quality after polymer powder coating (surface roughness and coat thickness). Last part of article is aimed to statistical verify individual parameters by chi test.

THE STUDY OF THE SURFACE QUALITY OF THE THIN WALL BEARING UNITS TO ROLLS ROLLER SEATS PIPE CONVEYOR

Peter Michalik; Jozef Zajac; Jana Fabianová; Dusan Mital

The article deals with the study of surface roughness of thin-walled houses bearing rollers for roller mills. The size and shape of the rear end housing was designed in order to measure the surface roughness of the inner cylindrical bearing surface with a wall thickness of 4, 5 and 6 mm. For comparison the roughness was measured also on the wall with a thickness 26 mm. The welded housing and the base plate was clamped in the machine vice jaw with a width of 150 mm. Material components bearing small house has been fine-grain weld able steel bearing S355. For finishing the hole with a diameter of 40 mm, a tool with a diameter of 32 mm was used with three cutting blades SDXT09M405R MM. Spindle speed was 1350 rev / min. Tool feed speed was 850 mm / min. The surface roughness was measured with a Mitutoyo SJ 400th.

Comparison of Software and Calculated Correction of the Tip Radius of Turning Tool for Control System FANUC

Peter Michalik; Jozef Zajac; Michal Hatala; Zuzana Hutyrová; Dusan Mital; Lukáš Suslo

The article deals with the correction of the programmed path lathe tool with a tip radius size. This correction is required to use in turning shaped surfaces. The programmed tool path can be corrected in various ways. In the first case, the calculation of the correction applied through mathematical relationships. The latter was used for automatic correction by the preparatory functions. Subsequently, the manufactured parts are measured, compared and evaluated characteristics shaped surfaces. Based on the evaluation method was recommended correction tool tip for the production of shaped surfaces.
