Analysis of Cutting Tools Durability Compared with Standard ISO 3685

Quality and accuracy in engineering is described by means of standards ISO. One of these standards is standard ISO 3685. The main part of this standard is T-vc dependence for various cutting materials. Standard ISO 3685 contains main properties and characteristics of three most important cutting materials those are used in engineering practice. These cutting materials are used for cutting tools made of high speed steel, cutting ceramic and sintered carbide. The standard ISO 3685 prescribes instructions to creation of T-vc dependence for defined cutting materials. Paper describes process how to define T-vc dependence for cutting tools made of high speed steel, cutting ceramic and sintered carbide, because were found deficiencies in valid standard ISO 3685.

Roller Bearings and Analytical Expression of Selected Cutting Tools Durability in Machining Process of Steel 80MoCrV4016

Technical science defines a lot of different factors, that they may be cause of shorter cutting tool lifetime. For increase of cutting tool durability is necessary maximally possible elimination of these factors. Determination of cutting tool durability is very important, because provides comprehensive information how to determine appropriate technological conditions for selected cutting tool. The analytical expression of dependence represents very important part of experiments, because all tested processes can be described and defined by formula. These instructions, how to proceed in experiments are obtained in standard ISO 3685. Very important and often used standard ISO in engineering practice is standard ISO 3685. The main part of this standard is T-vc dependence for cutting materials. In standard ISO 3685 are included cutting materials made of high speed steel, sintered carbide and cutting ceramic. The article describes process how to define and to analytically express T-vc dependence for cutting tools made of ceramic in machining process of steel 80MoCrV4016.

COMPARISON OF PROGRAMMING PRODUCTION OF THIN WALLED PARTS USING DIFFERENT CAM SYSTEMS

The article deals with comparing the programming of production of thin-walled parts using CAM software. Were evaluated by the number of clicks buttons and the amount of time during which the G codes generated. One side parts has been produced by the program generated by CAD applications Creo Parametric 2.0 and the other side part using Autodesk Inventor Professional HSM PRO 2016 was made on CNC vertical machining centre Pinnacle VMC 650 S.

Balance Equation - An Essential Element of the Definition of the Drying Process

The paper describes the basic principle of the proposal of a mathematical model drying. In the beginning of the article is a brief description of the material to be monitored during drying. Factors examined are the ceramic powder, which is obtained from spraying the emulsion in the drying kiln. Material is silicon carbide. It is further described principle of the drying process. The main part is to identify the parameters of the drying process, and it those that most influencing the actual drying and compilation of the balance equation. The aim of this article is find optimal solutions equation so that we can adequately define a mathematical model of the drying process and thus better control the process of drying - the quality (humidity) ceramic powder.

Analytical Expression of T-vC Dependence in Standard ISO 3685 for Cutting Ceramic

Durability is very important property of every cutting material. This property of cutting materials defined theirs life-time. Technical science defines a lot of different factors, that they may be cause of shorter life-time of cutting tool. Maximally possible elimination of these factors is necessary for optimization of cutting materials life-time. Durability of cutting materials is defined in standard ISO 3685. The main part of standard ISO 3685 is T-vc dependence definition for selected cutting materials. One of these cuting materials contained in this standard is cutting ceramic. Standard ISO 3685 contains instructions how to create T-vc dependence for cutting tools made of cutting ceramic. In this standard are only instructions how to create T-vc dependence according to Taylor, but last part of every experiment is analytical expression of tested dependence. The article describes process how to define and analytically express T-vc dependence for cutting ceramic (Al2O3).

For increase cutting tool durability is necessary maximally possible elimination of these factors. Determination of cutting tool durability is very important, because provides comprehensive information how to determine appropriate technological conditions for selected cutting tool. In engineering is for determination of cutting tools durability used T-vc dependence. Durability of cutting tools is defined in standard ISO 3685. In standard ISO 3685 is defined T-vc dependence for different cutting materials and standard included process evaluation of tool durability for cutting materials made of high speed steel, sintered carbide and cutting ceramic. Specification of cutting tools durability in machining process of steel 16MoV6-3 is very important for economics of small and medium-sized enterprises, because cutting tool durability is factor that significantly affects the budget of these enterprises. Standard ISO 3685 contains instructions how to create T-vc dependence for cutting tools. In this standard are only instructions how to create T-vc dependence according to Mr. Taylor. The article describes process how to create durability dependence for cutting tools made of sintered carbide in machining process of 16MoV6-3 by means of T-vc dependence.

The theory and practice in engineering industry is not the same. Durability of cutting tools is defined in standard ISO 3685. In standard ISO 3685 is defined T-vc dependence for different cutting materials and standard included process evaluation of tool durability for cutting materials made of high speed steel, sintered carbide and cutting ceramic. Standard ISO 3685 contains instructions how to create T-vc dependence for cutting tools made of cutting ceramic. In this standard are only instructions how to create T-vc dependence according to Taylor. The article compares T-vc dependencies for various cutting ceramics (Al2O3, Al2O3+ZrO2, Al2O3+TiCN) with T-vc dependence defined in standard ISO 3685, because this standard describes T-vc dependence for all entered cutting materials together.

PROPOSAL OF MEASURING FIXTURE FOR SERIAL PRODUCTION

Presented article is focused on monitoring of output control. Primary objective of research was design of most effective automated control of output quality for designated product. Proposal of fixture for output control was chosen as way to achieve main objective. According to performed practical analyse was intended final proposal of measuring fixture for chosen product. Manufacturing companies constantly face the problem of operational production processes and systems aimed to achieve demanded manufacturing costs of high quality products and minimizing of consumed resources. Production quality is essential in the field of intensive and emerging strategic industrial sectors as automotive, aviation, cosmonautics, energy industry, medical technology, micromanufacturing, electronics and mechatronics. Obtaining of objective overall production quality is conditional by innovative and integrated quality, manufacturing logistics, effective maintenance, management and control methods.
