The objective of this study was to evaluate the adherence of the Pedagogic Projects of Nursing Graduation Courses (PPC/ENF) to the National Guidelines for the Curriculum of Nursing Graduation Courses (DCN/ENF). It was a descriptive study that compared the information obtained from the reports of the PPC/ENF and the proposals of DCN/ENF, using data collected by INEP/MEC and made available for this study. The data base consisted of all reports from 110 nursing graduation courses that were seeking accreditation or renewal between 2002 and 2006. Sixty aspects of the evaluation were selected and 10. The study reports that the rate of adherence of the nursing courses to the DCN/ENF guidelines was low, 72%. These findings indicate there is a need for nursing courses/schools to adjust the epistemological bases of the DCN/ENF to the proposals of PPC/ENF.

It is a descriptive, comparative study, between the present data in the PP/UNC and the proposed in the NCR/UNC, having as basis the reports of the evaluation processes conducted by the INEP/MEC. The sample was composed by the reports used for approval and reapproval, conducted in the period from 2002 through 2006, concerning 12 undergraduate courses. One analyzed 8 courses located in the superior part and 4 in the inferior. The study revealed strong and weak points of the courses in the three dimensions of the evaluation reports, and shows needs in the colleges/courses to search for a better use of the epistemologic bases present in the NCR/UNC and proposed in the PP/UNC.A investigacao teve como objetivo, partindo do indice de aderencia dos Projetos Pedagogicos dos Cursos de Graduacao em Enfermagem as Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais, analisar qualitativamente potencialidades e fragilidades dos cursos. The study aims to build a general overview of the Nursing Graduation Programs in Brazil, in the decade of the National Curriculum Guidelines for Nursing Graduation, period 2001-2011. This is an exploratory, descriptive study, based on data from the e-MEC, Higher Education Census, ENADE. The results evidenced: the privatization of the Nursing Graduation Programs, the oversupply of courses and places day and night; sharp expansion of the number of vacancies for distance learning, not meeting the minimum quality criteria evaluated by ENADE, among other respects. It is recommended that strategies for the regulation of the expansion already installed must be defined, in addition to the revision of indicators drawn from the INEP Single Form, to meet the necessities of nursing, as an specific area, particularly with regard to: the number of vacancies, integration with the local and regional health system and the SUS, education in health care, teaching practical activities, working arrangements and experience of the faculty of the course. It is recommended, though, the immediate intervention of the MEC in the poles of Distance Education, suspending the training of nurses in that modality of education.O estudo teve o objetivo de construir um panorama dos cursos de Graduacao em Enfermagem no Brasil, na decada das Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais do Curso de Graduacao em Enfermagem, periodo 2001 a 2011. This is a methodological research, which aimed to determine the validity of an educational technology (ET) in the form of educational game of medicine administration, according to the judges and audience, using the theoretical stage of Pasquali model. Data were collected between September 2011 and May 2012 in two stages: 1) application and validation of TE by forty students of the 4th period of Nursing, at the Fluminense Federal University (target audience); 2) observation and validation of TE by 8 teachers (judges). The questionnaires were organized in Likert scale, with items distributed in blocks and analyzed quantitatively. The game was validated, since it has over 80% approval by the two groups, and may therefore be used as a TE in the discipline of Fundamentals of Nursing. The results were positive, demonstrating that students and teachers are more interested in content taught when most dynamic technologies are used in the classroom.

2 Adjunct Professor IV of the UFPA. Belem, PA - Brazil. 3 Adjunct Professor of the UFPA. Belem, PA - Brazil. 4 Nursing student of the UFPA. Belem, PA - Brazil. ABSTRACT An integrative literature review was conducted to identify the trends in maternal health from the perspective of social representations. The search occurred within the LILACS, BDENF, SCIELO databases, between the years 2003-2011, with 15 articles selected. After the thematic analyses of the contents of the articles, two dimensions were obtained: sociomaternal dimension and the socio-caring dimension. The sociomaternal dimension considered the social representations of women about pregnancy, prenatal care, normal and cesarean delivery, breastfeeding, and rooming-in. The outcomes revealed the necessity of exploring womens common sense and to integrate them into the scientific approach so that they developed autonomously the care for themselves as well as for their baby. The evidence showed a need for professionals to rethink verbal and non-verbal communication, observing more humane and nurturing attitudes. The socio-caring dimension integrated the social representations about the health care during the prenatal period in nursing consultation; nursing care in the puerperium; nursing care in the puerperal gestational cycle among women, and childbirth care; health care in the Family Health Strategy; integrality and teamwork among professionals. In conclusion, the necessity of broadening the vision of health professionals beyond the biomedical and techno-scientific approach is essential in order to incorporate health education in health and a biosocial-humanistic approach.
