Gravidez na adolescência: motivos e percepções de adolescentes

This research encompasses the capital Aracaju, Sergipe, and its surroundings health districts. It was dealt from October to December 2002 with 216 pregnant adolescents assisted by the Strategy of the Family Health Program. Its main goal is to raise and identify the social-demographic and the gynecological profile of those young ladies, by identifying the reason which led them to pregnancy and by knowing their pereption of it. The vast majority of them are 17, colored, literate, house-wives who have one single steady partner and survive with less than the minimum wage. Among those 32.4% got their first period by the age of 12; 25% had their first sexual intercourse by the age of 16; anf 72.7% had their first gestation. The reason which stood out from the others was the will to become a mother, for their perception towards pregnancy is related to happiness and personal achievement.This research encompasses the capital Aracaju, Sergipe, and its surroundings health districts. Competências gerenciais de enfermeiras: um novo velho desafio?

This article is a reflection about the nurses role as a manager of care in the current globalized world with its subsequent demands. It discusses the relevance of the professional education process in order for the nurse to play his/her role in the context of managerial competences, which are currently widely diffused as a management model. It also highlights the relevance of developing management competencies for nurses after the baccalaureate and in the permanent on the job educational processes.

Gerentes do território na Estratégia Saúde da Família: análise e perfil de necessidades de qualificação

O estudo objetivou elaborar o perfil socio-demografico e educacional dos gerentes de territorio da ESF e identificar os tipos de qualificacao ou processo de educacao permanente que tem ou estao inseridos os gerentes, o desenvolvimento cientifico-cultural dos mesmos. A pesquisa e do tipo exploratorio-descritiva, realizada em Sobral - Ceara, com 28 gerentes de territorio da Estrategia Saude da Familia no periodo de novembro de 2006 a junho de 2007. Para coleta de dados foi utilizado um questionario e uma entrevista semi-estruturada. Qualidade da atenção ao pré-natal na Estratégia Saúde da Família em Sobral, Ceará

Sugere-se que a Secretaria Municipal da Saude e Acao Social podera estabelecer as atribuicoes dos gerentes e avaliar o perfil dos gerentes durante a nomeacao, e confronta-lo com o perfil que o sistema exige.The study aimed at elaborating the socio-demographic and educational profile of managers of territory of the Family Health Strategy and to identify the qualification types or process of permanent education that the managers have or to the ones that are inserted, the cultural- scientific development of them. The investigation is of exploratory-descriptive type, carried out in Sobral - Ceará, with 28 managers of territory of the Strategy of Health of the Family in the period of November of 2006 to June of 2007. Auxiliares e técnicos de enfermagem na saúde da família: perfil sociodemográfico e necessidades de qualificação

It is suggested that the Municipal and Social Action Secretary of Health will be able to establish the attributions and to evaluate the profile of the managers during the nomination, and to confront them with the profile that the system demands.

Consulta de enfermagem ao portador de hanseníase no território da Estratégia da Saúde da Família: percepções de enfermeiro e pacientes

Diante das politicas publicas que envolvem a qualidade da atencao ao pre-natal, este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a qualidade da atencao ao pre-natal nos territorios da Estrategia Saude da Familia, do municipio de Sobral, a luz do referencial teorico de Avedis Donabedian. Trata-se de um estudo de carater descritivo-exploratorio, desenvolvido em Centros de Saude da Familia de Sobral, Ceara. Dos quatorze Centros de Saude investigados, quatro se mostraram com indicadores adequados para o pre-natal. Porem, ainda que existam inadequacoes na estrutura fisica, nao existem impedimentos para que se ofereca um atendimento de qualidade haja vista que o processo e os resultados tambem interferem na qualidade da assistencia.Face to public policies involving the quality of care for prenatal, the study aims to: assess the quality of prenatal care to the territories in the Family Health Strategy of the city of Sobral in the light of theoretical reference of Avedis Donabedian. This is a descriptive- exploratory study, developed by Family Health Units of Sobral, CE, Brazil. Of the fourteen Centers Health investigated, four were with appropriate indicators for prenatal care. But that although there are inadequacies in the physical structure, there are no impediments in order to provide a quality of care there is a view that the process and results also interfere with the quality of care.

Integralidade na assistência à mulher na prevenção do câncer cérvico-uterino: um estudo de caso

An exploratory and descriptive study, conducted with 38 nursing assistants and 17 nursing technicians who worked in the Family Health Strategy (ESF), in the municipalities of Acarau, Chaval, Coreau, Granja, Marco and Santana do Acarau, in the state of Ceara, from March to April of 2005. The objective was to trace the profile and qualification needs of these professionals. The profile showed that most were married women, between 31 and 40 years of age, having completed high school, receiving a minimum income, and working in the rural area. The main qualification needs they pointed out include biosafety, home care, methods and techniques of treating wounds and probes, sterilization, educational activities and receiving the patient. Most of the needs mentioned are techniques, suggesting deficiencies in professional training. The authors emphasize the importance of a permanent policy of education, to improve the qualification of this professional segment and its work in the ESF.

Quality of pre-natal care in Family Health Strategy in Sobral, CE, Brazil

The present study aims to identify difficulties for the nurse so that he can reflect and create strategies to improve the quality of the nursing consultation and follow-up for patients with leprosy and to understand the perception of the patient in relation to the attendance structure and nursing follow-up. From the results we note that in the nursing consultation, the creation of a bond of confidence was sought with the client with the objective of receiving information on their treatment as well as on any disabilities. Regarding the difficulties confirmed by the nurses, they are related to the organization conditions of health services which causes a high demand. In relation to the perception of patients regarding the nursing consultation it was shown, in general, quite satisfactory.O presente estudo visa identificar as dificuldades do enfermeiro para que ele possa refletir e criar estrategias para melhorar a qualidade da consulta e acompanhamento de enfermagem aos portadores de hanseniase e conhecer a percepcao do cliente em relacao a estrutura do atendimento e o acompanhamento de enfermagem. A partir dos resultados notamos que na consulta de enfermagem busca-se criar um vinculo de confianca com cliente com objetivo do mesmo receber as informacoes sobre seu tratamento bem como sobre de incapacidades. No que diz respeito as dificuldades afirmadas pelas enfermeiras, elas estao relacionadas as condicoes de organizacao dos servicos de saude o que acarreta uma alta demanda. Com relacao a percepcao dos pacientes quanto a consulta de enfermagem mostrou-se, no geral, bem satisfatoria.

Centro de Estudos e Pesquisa em Enfermagem (CEPEn): uma trajetória de 36 anos

Realizou-se analise da gestao da atencao, com base na integralidade da assistencia a saude da mulher na prevencao do câncer cervico-uterino, atraves de entrevista com duas pacientes atendidas em servico de saude da regiao nordeste do pais. Consistiu num estudo de caso onde os dados foram analisados atraves do Fluxograma Analisador do Modelo de Atencao de um Servico de Saude. Em um caso identificou-se a integracao dos pontos de atencao, com carater integral e no outro a fragmentacao total desta. No estudo e percebida a importância de maior atencao do gestor no sentido de melhor planejar, organizar e avaliar as acoes nos servicos de atencao saude da mulher, buscando a eficiencia, a eficacia e a efetividade, assegurando que os principios do Sistema Unico de Saude sejam respeitados.This study aimed at analysing attention-based management based upon womens health integration in the prevention of cervical-uterine cancer, using interviews with two patients who were given care in a healthcare service in the northeast region of Brazil. In this case study the data was analysed according to the Analysis Fluxogram of the Healthcare Attention Model. In one of the cases total integration of attention scores was identified; while in the other total fragmentation of attention scores was identified. In this study the relevance of greatest attention was played by the manager in the sense of better planning, organization, and evaluation of the services interventions in womens healthcare; services that sought efficiency, and effectiveness, assuring that the principles of the Brazilian National Health Care System are respected.
