Connsidering home visits as a technology for interaction in family health care, this study aimed to understand how the Family Health team conceives these visits. A qualitative approach was used and data were collected through semistructured interviews. We interviewed nineteen professionals who belonged to two Family Health teams from an interior city in São Paulo. Results showed that visits are potential activities for more human and welcoming family care, with a view to bonding, confidence relations and getting to know users in the family environment. Visits are sometimes understood as health follow-up and sometimes as surveillance. Difficulties included reduced time availability and the teams impotence to act on problems.

Karen Namie Sakata; Silvana Martins Mishima

This qualitative study examines the social relationships between the Community Health Agents (CHAs) and the Family Health team (FH), highlighting cooperative interventions and interactions among workers. A total of 23 participant observations and 11 semi-structured interviews were conducted with an FH team in a city in the interior of São Paulo, Brazil. The results revealed that CHAs function as a link in the development of operational actions to expedite teamwork. These professionals, while creating bonds, articulate connections of teamwork and interact with other workers, developing common care plans and bringing the team and community together, as well as adapting care interventions to meet the real needs of people. In communication practice, when talking about themselves they talk about the community itself because they are the communitys representatives and spokespersons on the team. The conclusion is that the CHA may be a strategic worker if his/her actions include more political and social dimensions of work in healthcare.O estudo de abordagem qualitativa teve como objetivo compreender as relacoes sociais entre o Agente Comunitario de Saude (ACS) e a equipe de Saude da Familia (SF), nesse sentido, destaca-se a articulacao das acoes e a interacao entre trabalhadores.

This article reports, in a systemized and analytical way, the experience of an Outreach Program in the period between 2010 and 2011. The study focused on health education interventions as strategies to improve the adherence of individuals with insulin- dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM), clients of a blood glucose self-Monitoring program. In addition, we intended to contribute to the reorganization of the programs working processes in the unit. Health education strategies were used in both educational groups and home visits, thus permitting the provision of care that was more individualized. Data regarding the clients were organized on a spreadsheet and in files for the Family Health teams, which made it easier to identify the patients, including those who were absent, helping to decentralize the care. By using health education strategies, we intended to contribute to a more comprehensive and emancipatory care of the clients, aimed at a continuous reflection of the workers regarding their practices. This article reports, in a systemized and analytical way, the experience of an Outreach Program in the period between 2010 and 2011. Lêda Maria Albuquerque; Carina Maris Gaspar Carvalho; Maíra Rosa Apostólico; Karen Namie Sakata; Marcia Regina Cubas; Emiko Yoshikawa Egry

OBJECTIVE Identification of terminology relating to nursing practices aimed at children and adolescents at risk of domestic violence. METHODS bibliographic descriptive research which selected 40 articles from the Virtual Health Library on domestic violence against children and adolescents, its manifestations, causes, and consequences, in association with nursing procedures for its confrontation and prevention, and which also identified terminology via computer tools. RESULTS 17,365 terms that, after standardization and uniformity procedures, resulted in a listing of 915 terms. CONCLUSION The terminology selected focused on the individual biopsychic nexus and the historic manifestation of this phenomenon was partially identified in terms that appear less frequently in these articles, thereby explaining the contradiction between the formal identification logic of such terminology and the dialectic logic that recognizes the historic reasons for, and dynamicity of, such phenomena.
