Trata-se de estudo sobre a composicao e gestao da forca de trabalho na Atencao Basica no Parana. Os dados foram coletados do Censo de Atencao Basica e da Avaliacao Externa do Programa Nacional de Melhoria do Acesso e da Qualidade da Atencao Basica, realizados entre julho e setembro de 2012. Destaca-se, no censo, a predominância (59,9%) de trabalhadores, cuja exigencia de formacao e o ensino fundamental ou medio. Entre os profissionais de nivel superior que participaram da avaliacao externa, 76% atuam ha cinco anos ou menos; 82,7% ingressaram por concurso publico; e quase nula a participacao/utilizacao de mecanismos de ensino/atualizacao a distância, evidenciando a necessidade de acoes voltadas ao fortalecimento de politicas de gestao do trabalho e da educacao em saude no estado.

AIDS is a chronic disease increasing dramatically among the female population, especially amongst those women in their reproductive years, which can be seen in the increase of mother-to-child transmission of HIV cases. The objective of this research was to identify the feelings and expectations of such pregnant women about the disease and pregnancy from a phenomenological perspective. Five pregnant women living in Foz do Iguacu, Brazil and being monitored at the HIV/AIDS Specialized Service were selected as study subjects. Their accounts were collected through semi-structured interviews, which were recorded by digital media. Two Thematic Units were identified after the transcription and analysis of the discourses, namely, “The reality of prejudice, discrimination and stigmatization against pregnant women living with HIV” and “Emergent hope and expectations in a HIV pregnancy”. Despite prejudice, the pregnant women participating in the study had not lost hope neither in the treatment nor in the future. Several forms of expressing their problems were observed and the acceptance of being pregnant made them feel strong enough to face the situation.

O autocuidado pode ser definido como a pratica de atividades que as pessoas realizam em seu proprio beneficio na manutencao da saude e bem-estar. O objetivo foi identificar a pratica do autocuidado entre os academicos de Enfermagem/Unioeste, Foz do Iguacu/PR. Trata-se de um estudo transversal exploratorio, cuja populacao constitui-se dos 188 academicos do curso de Enfermagem, a coleta de dados foirealizadano primeiro semestre de 2012,apos a aprovacao no Comite de Etica/Unioeste. Os dados foram colhidos mediante aplicacao de um questionario para os 120 alunos que aceitaram participar voluntariamente da pesquisa.Sobre o tema autocuidado, 91 alunos (75,83%) citaram a pratica de exercicios fisicos, porem apenas 44 (36,66%) praticam, e o mesmo ocorreu para todas as outras medidas de autocuidado apresentadas. A maioria tambem nao realizou exames preventivos. Embora os academicos tenham conhecimentos para executar o autocuidado, nao o praticam. Existe uma dualidade entre o discurso de um futuro profissional e o que eles efetivamente vivenciam.

This research analyzed the perception of the teacher who works in resource rooms (SR) in public primary schools in Foz do Iguacu/PR, about the school inclusion of NEE’s students. It’s a quantitative and qualitative research, using the technique of Collective Subject Speech (DSC). The data were collected in 2012’s first semester, through questionnaires answered by public primary school teachers. The results were organized in worksheets for descriptive analysis of speech. A well structured service was identified, showing a great concern at the public policies level about the inclusion’s perspective in the assistance provided in the SR to students from the lower grades (1st to 4th) of elementary education, evidenced through the monitoring conducted by the school, the existent communication between the SR professionals and the regular education and the use of teaching materials, highlighting the ludic activities. However, in spite of the great variety of the attended NEEs, it was explicit the difficulty in the teaching process that these professionals face. Though the Municipality shows a well structured educational service in public primary school for seeing NEEs, it’s still necessary some strategic modification to better attend these students.
