Infância e políticas públicas: um olhar sobre as práticas psi

This paper aims to discuss the current configuration of public policies, especially from the psychological practices, based on the ways the childhood category was created in Brazil. Childhood is understood as a social construction, meaning here a geographic and historical knowledges schedule. By the setting of some disciplinary approaches, Psychology is highlighted in themes as such as patterns of normality and abnormality connected to evolution steps with the childhood. As examples the Juizado de Menores, the Servico de Assistencia do Menor (SAM) and the Fundacoes Estaduais do Bem - Estar do Menor (FEBEMs) as well as the current shelters reorganized from the Estatuto da Crianca e do Adolescente (ECA) can be pointed. So, a problematization about the interplay of the Psychology on the public policies debate about the way childhoods vulnerability was proposed.

A paternidade na contemporaneidade : um estudo de mídia sob a perspectiva dos estudos culturais

In this article, we discuss the possibilities that the perspective of Cultural Studies open for the research in Social Psychology, more specifically, for the paternity´s thematic. Questions related to the identities construction and the media importance in this process are discussed. Paternity here is conceived as a social construction that follows the flexible character of other identity positions. The analysis of a television advertising is presented and shows how different aspects of the contemporary culture cross over and mix with the father´s thematic.

O conceito de saúde e suas implicações nas práticas psicológicas

This paper aims to analyze the relation between health and Psychology through the discussion on discursive practices, ways of subjectivation and power relations based on a Foucaultian approach. It questions how certain ways of subjectivation obey the standards of the health resources in the field of public policies. Therefore, we intend to show how health concept is constructed by psychological practices. These practices do not only produce the subjects, who are their very objects, but they also produce the way they can and must be thought. In order to understand the relation between psychology and health, we take three theoretical aspects that constitute Psychology as a science (the reason, the unconscious and the psychological instruments) to demonstrate how these aspects make the emergence of health in the field of Psychology.

Discussões sobre violência: trabalhando a produção de sentidos

This article aims to understand the Production of Meaning on violence through observations and discussions with men who are considered aggressors. Our discussion is based on the theoretical approaches of Social Psychology, more precisely through the perspective of Social Constructionism with postulations from the production of meaning and discursive practices. The research was accomplished with men that participate in a group called «Anonymous Aggressors». We have participated in these groups as participant-observers and have taken part in 22 sessions of 90 minutes each for the period of 20 months. From our analysis, we understand that the meanings of violence indicate that these men situate themselves in the space of family relationships and that these meanings are implicated with other events like the use of drugs, diverse forms of aggression, and the lack of dialogue as a possibility to overcome violent situations.

Políticas públicas de saúde da mulher: a integralidade em questão

In this article, we have attempted to analyze how comprehensiveness started to be used as a reference in the womens health field, from the current proposal put forward by PNAISM - Politica Nacional de Atencao Integral a Saude da Mulher (National Public Women´s Health). We have aimed at problematizing what we have understood as comprehensiveness in the effectiveness of care in relation to the womans health. We have used an excerpt of the introductory text produced by the State Health Department in its homepage on Internet, as an exercise to circumscribe this issue. This extract has been divided in three parts. Each one of them has been discussed considering an axis of formulations to problematize comprehensiveness: the woman as a subject of health, the PAISM - Programa de Assistencia Integral a Saude da Mulher (Womans Health Comprehensive Assistance Program) as conformation of a certain health field for women, and the production of scientific knowledge for the practice in the field of Public Health.Neste artigo, buscamos analisar como a integralidade passa a ser utilizada como referente no campo da saude da mulher a partir do proposto na atualidade pela Politica Nacional de Atencao Integral a Saude da Mulher (PNAISM). Objetivamos problematizar o que tomamos como integralidade na efetividade dos cuidados em relacao a saude da mulher. Para isso, utilizamos um recorte no texto introdutorio realizado pela Secretaria da Saude do Rio Grande do Sul, em sua pagina na Internet, como um exercicio para circunscrever essa questao. Esse recorte do texto e dividido em tres partes, sendo cada uma delas discutida por um eixo de formulacoes para problematizar a integralidade: a mulher como sujeito da saude; o Programa de Assistencia Integral a Saude da Mulher (PAISM) como a conformacao de um determinado campo de saude para mulheres; e a producao de conhecimento cientifico para o fazer no campo da saude publica.

Pobreza, violência e trabalho: a produção de sentidos de meninos e meninas de uma favela

Abstract Poverty, violence and work: the boy’s and girl’s meaning production in a poor community . This article aimsto discuss the production of meanings about poverty, violence and work. According to the social, economicand cultural conditions, this work analyzes the intersections of gender, racial, social class and sexual girl’s andboy’s identities construction in the community spaces such as the street, the school and the home. Sixteeninterviews and six discussion groups were carried out with girls and boys, between fifteen and eighteen yearsold, from fifth and eight grade in school. The understanding of the meanings of these girls and boys was basedon theoretical and methodological social constructionism approach. The meaning of poverty is perceived bythese girls and boys as burden. The violence is taken as concerning, but also as something natural. Work isused as a criterion to classify people, differentiating honest persons from delinquents, who do not work. Key-words: meaning production, identities/differences, social reality.

Psicologia social comunitária profissional

The following paper approaches issues related to the Community Social Psychologys construction in Brazil and the interactions of this historical process with the professional preparation. For this purpose, the Brazilian historical and social context is taken into consideration in order to reach effective psychological practices in communities. In addition, it associates Community Social Psychologys characteristics with the professional preparation and the Psychologys construction. Finally, this paper considers reflections about the professional preparation and contemporaries social phenomena.

O que estamos construindo: especialidades ou especialismos?

A proposta deste trabalho e apresentar algumas reflexoes que entendemos necessarias para compreendermos como se chega hoje a discussao das especialidades no campo da Psicologia. Tal tematica esta amplamente relacionada com as esferas de acao e formacao dos profissionais da area psi e, atualmente, tem ganhado repercussao frente a instituicao do reconhecimento dos titulos de especialista pelo conselho profissional desta categoria. Propondo uma problematizacao destas implicacoes, pretendemos relacionar alguns aspectos que se articulam a emergencia das especialidades no contexto atual da producao psi, apresentando quatro pontos de reflexao ou questionamento: a) especialidades como uma producao que se torna epistemologicamente possivel a partir do paradigma da modernidade; b) alertas sobre os perigos que pensar o conhecimento em termos de especialidades pode apresentar para qualquer area do conhecimento, mas mais especificamente para a Psicologia; c) situar algumas caracteristicas da contemporaneidade, para pensarmos em que medida estas podem sustentar a proposta das especialidades neste contexto; e d) alguns questionamentos que julgamos relevantes em relacao ao atual debate sobre as especialidades para a formacao em Psicologia.

As relações raciais na construção das identidades

The purpose of the present study is to show how racial issues permeate boys and girls lives in the slum areas, taking their context into consideration and trying to understand how they transform and resist to different situations related to racial relationships. The individuals who took part in group discussions and interviews study in a local municipal school. The data analysis was based on Meaning Production theoretic and methodological approach within Cultural Studies. The discourses about race are associated with aspects of their everyday life, media themes, discrimination and social classes differences, through a discourse that refers to inequalities. The produced meanings show contestation and resistance, signaling social mobilizations related to racial discrimination. However, they produce meanings that come to reinforce a hegemonic discourse and their adaptation to it.

Estratégias de produção de si e a humanização no SUS

O artigo visa a problematizar a relacao entre as estrategias de producao de si e a Politica Nacional de Humanizacao como um dos principios do SUS no campo da saude publica, assim como busca refletir a condicao de existencia da Humanizacao no campo da saude coletiva. Para tanto, discutem-se as maneiras como essa politica articula producoes discursivas sobre o modo de subjetivacao do individuo, os mecanismos de controle que intentam forjar modos que transcendem uma condicao humana. Para produzir tal discussao, utiliza-se uma abordagem fundamentada em teoricos contemporâneos, principalmente os conceitos foucaultianos de tecnologias de si e modos de subjetivacao, que entendem o discurso de forma a enaltecer nao o que significa um conceito, mas sim, o que se produz a partir deste.
