A consulta de enfermagem no contexto da atenção básica de saúde, Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais

Estudo exploratorio, descritivo, de abordagem qualitativa, com o objetivo de conhecer a percepcao do enfermeiro sobre a realizacao da consulta de enfermagem na pratica dos servicos de atencao basica. Dezesseis enfermeiros atuantes em Unidades Basicas de Saude urbanas de Juiz de Fora -MG, foram entrevistados nos meses de outubro e novembro de 2006. Os dados foram organizados em temas e analisados a luz da literatura tematica. Os resultados mostraram que a consulta de enfermagem e realizada pelos enfermeiros de forma limitada, sendo apontadas dificuldades como excesso de atividades burocraticas, deficiencias na estrutura fisica da unidade de saude e no entrosamento da equipe. Conclui-se que o enfermeiro considera importante a articulacao entre o conhecimento teorico e a pratica para a aquisicao de competencia na realizacao da consulta de enfermagem e que se faz importante buscar o atendimento integral, com vistas a maior resolutividade dos problemas de saude dos usuarios.

Permanent education in nursing in a university hospital

Permanent education emphasizes on the interdisciplinarity of the health team, focuses on practice as the source of knowledge and places professionals as active actors of the educational process. The objective of this study was to identify demands and expectations, i.e. factors that interfere in the qualification of nursing workers of a university hospital, and propose capacitation practices from the perspective of permanent education. The investigation process founded on the principles of action-research was performed from 2007 to 2008. Subjects were nurses, nursing technicians and nursing aides. Data collection was performed in training workshops with 114 nursing workers. The results permitted to identify the institutional conditions in which educational actions take place, the possibility of mobilizing workers to identify and solve problems at works, and the need to make changes in training practices. Manejo clínico de úlceras venosas na atenção primária à saúde

Objective: To discuss the clinical management of venous ulcers in primary health care, based on the vision of users who live with this afflic tion. Methods: This was a qualitative, exploratory, descriptive study, conducted with 25 adult users in treatment in the Family Health Units. Data were collected in the second semester of 2008, using a structured instrument with questions of sociodemographic characteristics, type of cleaning, coverings, use of compression therapy, medication and prescribed guidelines. Results: Cleaning products are used that aggravate the granulation tissue, such as coverings with various substances, including sunflower oil and antibiotic ointments; the majority of users do not use measures to control edema. Conclusion: It is necessary to elaborate and adopt clinical protocols for the care of venous ulcers, as well as to provide ongoing education for health professionals.

Licenciatura e bacharelado em enfermagem: experiências e expectativas de estudantes

Estudo de abordagem fenomenologica que objetivou compreender a experiencia do estudante que cursa a licenciatura e o bacharelado em enfermagem concomitantemente. Foram realizadas entrevistas abertas com oito estudantes de enfermagem de uma universidade publica do interior de Minas Gerais, tendo sido a analise compreensiva dos dados realizada a luz da fenomenologia social de Alfred Schutz. Os re-sultados mostraram que os estudantes observam uma desarticulacao entre as disciplinas pedagogicas e o bacharelado, entretanto consideraram que a licenciatura fornece subsidios para as acoes educativas em enfermagem. Tem ainda expectativas de atuar na educacao em saude e de tornarem-se docentes de enfermagem. Acerca do bacharelado e licenciatura em enfermagem, considera-se que se constituem em uma articulacao que promove ampliacao do conhecimento dos estudantes e gera expectativas relacionadas a atuacao profissional, todavia apresenta lacunas que precisam ser revistas pelos que atuam no ensino de enfermagem, contemplando as especificidades teorico-praticas exigidas na formacao do enfermeiro.This is a phenomenological study that aimed to understand the experience of the student enrolled in both the Bachelor and the teaching undergraduate degree in nursing at the same time. Interviews with eight nursing students from a public university of Minas Gerais, Brazil, were undertaken. Analyses were conducted based on the social phenomenology of Alfred Schütz. Results showed that according to the pupils, there is no connection between the teaching courses and the Bachelor ones, but they also highlighted that the teaching degree helps educational activities in nursing. The students have interest in working with health education and to become nursing teachers. They also consider that the dual degree allows the expansion of knowledge and generates better expectations related to professional practice. However, it has gaps which need to be reviewed by those who work in nursing education, addressing the specific theoretical and practical needs of nursing students.

O exercício do controle social no Sistema Único de Saúde: a ótica do enfermeiro como membro do conselho local de saúde

O estudo trata de conhecer o posicionamento do enfermeiro sobre sua atuacao no Conselho Local de Saude frente ao principio organizacional do SUS de controle social no planejamento, acompanhamento e avaliacao das acoes de saude. Realizou-se uma pesquisa qualitativa, do tipo exploratorio descritivo; os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas com enfermeiros de Unidades Basicas de Saude (UBS) de Juiz de Fora e atuantes nos Conselhos Locais de Saude. Foram entrevistados 15 enfermeiros. A analise dos dados foi feita sob dois eixos: a opiniao do enfermeiro em relacao ao seu papel de Conselheiro Local de Saude (CLS), tomando parte no exercicio de controle social da gestao do SUS e quanto aos reflexos percebidos de sua participacao, tanto no servico de saude (UBS) como na condicao de saude da comunidade. RESULTADOS: a maioria dos entrevistados tem consciencia da importância da atuacao do CLS, e considera importante a participacao do Enfermeiro no CLS, devido a sua formacao voltada para a pratica social e de saude publica. No entanto, muitos entrevistados ainda acreditam que a atuacao do Enfermeiro no CLS e importante somente como espaco para divulgar acoes e necessidades do servico de atencao basica a saude.

Marcadores de saúde do homem em um município de pequeno porte

Objective: Identifying markers of mens health. Methods: Descriptive, exploratory study with a quantitative approach, held in a small town in Minas Gerais. The data collection occurred from October to December 2013, using 217 structured forms with information from men. Results: 134 (62%) forms were filled during visit at the primary health care unit and the rest, on the day of the nutritional census performed in the city; 58% of men were overweight and obese and the prevalence of hypertension and diabetes mellitus was 17.5% and 4.6% respectively. Cardiovascular diseases were greater among men and their diet includes a large percentage of processed foods. Conclusion: Health markers identified in man highlight the need for operationalization of strategies that strengthen the participation of the male audience on actions of health promotion.Objetivo: Identificar los marcadores de salud del hombre. Metodos: Estudio descriptivo, exploratorio, con abordaje cuantitativo, realizado en un pequeno municipio de Minas Gerais. La coleta de datos se produjo desde octubre hasta diciembre de 2013, utilizando 217 formularios estructurados con informaciones de los hombres. Resultados: 134 (62%) formularios fueron llenados durante el atendimiento en la Unidad de Atencion Primaria a la Salud, los demas, se completaron en el dia de la convocatoria nutricional realizada por el municipio; 58% de los hombres estaban con sobrepeso y obesidad; la prevalencia de la hipertension arterial y la diabetes mellitus fue de 17,5% y 4,6%, respectivamente. Las enfermedades cardiovasculares fueron predominantes entre los hombres y su dieta incluye un gran porcentaje de los alimentos procesados. Conclusion: Los marcadores de salud identificados en los hombres destacan la necesidad de operacionalizacion de estrategias que fortalezcan la participacion del publico masculino en acciones de promocion en salud.

PERFIL EPIDEMIOLÓGICO E SOCIAL DA FIBROSE CÍSTICA NA INFÂNCIA E ADOLESCÊNCIA

Objetivo: verificar o perfil epidemiologico e social da Fibrose Cistica na infância e adolescencia. Metodologia: estudo exploratorio, descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa. Participaram 26 criancas e adolescentes com Fibrose Cistica e seus responsaveis. Coletaram-se os dados utilizando um formulario e entrevista semiestruturada gravada em audio. Para analise utilizou-se estatistica descritiva e tecnica de analise tematica de conteudo. Resultados: 34,6% idade entre 10 e 14 anos; 69,2% sexo masculino; 65,3% cor da pele branca; maioria morava em perimetro urbano; todos com idade superior a tres anos frequentavam escola; 46,2% nao tinham irmaos; 92,4% professavam alguma religiao; 38,4% renda de um salario minimo; 38,4% varias hospitalizacoes. Conclusao: doenca precisa ser melhor divulgada. Para cuidar e conviver com a enfermidade a familia apoia na espiritualidade para sustentar a esperanca. A proporcao de adultos com Fibrose Cistica cresce progressivamente, gerando novas demandas para os servicos de saude. Descritores: Fibrose Cistica; Infância; Adolescencia; Enfermagem.
