Under the context of rationality, the way work is organized can trigger incompatibilities between the spheres of the motivations, achievements and wishes of individuals, taking it well, the loss of the sense and following injuries in the physical and mental health worker (DEJOURS, 2006). Given this context, this study was conducted in order to identify possible relationships between the Biopsychosocial Approach to Quality of Life at Work (QVT) and the Burnout Syndrome. The sample relates to a survey of 575 professionals from public and private organizations in a municipality in Region / BR. Data were analyzed using analysis: descriptive analysis and correlation factor. The main results shows that professionals dissatisfied with the QWL programs are more prone in the development of burnout syndrome.

Em virtude da preocupacao com o meio ambiente e a possivel escassez do petroleo, a tematica dos biocombustiveis vem ganhando corpo no Brasil e no mundo. No Brasil, o governo criou o Programa Nacional de Producao de Biodiesel- PNPB e o Selo Combustivel Social- SCS, promovendo a inclusao social de agricultores familiares. Diante dessa realidade, este estudo pretende identificar o impacto da implantacao do Selo Combustivel Social na rotina organizacional de uma empresa certificada. Utilizou-se a metodologia de estudo de caso, de abordagem qualitativa. Os resultados evidenciaram que o selo impacta significativamente tanto no âmbito do desenvolvimento sustentavel, como na inovacao e na estrategia.

Discussions about corporate social responsibility have been acquiring importance in all types of organizations, including the family. The present work configures itself as a case study, of qualitative approach, conducted in a family-owned company that is in the fourth generation, serves on the chain of drinks and is located in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, document analysis and participant observation in order to understand how the values related to Corporate Social Responsibility are perceived by employees and which practices in everyday studied organization are listed as priorities. The collected data were analyzed in the light of the content analysis (BARDIN.1977), indicate that the family firm takes on values related to social and environmental responsibility, commitment and motivation of employees and business ethics as benchmarks of corporate social responsibility practices.
