PRAZER E SOFRIMENTO NO EXERCÍCIO GERENCIAL DO ENFERMEIRO NO CONTEXTO HOSPITALAR

Este estudo objetivou analisar os fatores de prazer e sofrimento no exercicio gerencial do enfermeiro no contexto hospitalar. Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratorio-descritiva com abordagem qualitativa, que utilizou como tecnica de coleta a entrevista semiestruturada. Foi realizada em um hospital universitario, e os dados foram analisados mediante analise tematica. Os 19 enfermeiros que participaram do estudo revelaram que a gerencia e fonte de prazer quando ha crescimento pessoal e profissional, reconhecimento dos colegas e satisfacao do paciente; e fonte de sofrimento em funcao das dificuldades de relacionamento com a equipe de trabalho e da sobrecarga de trabalho. Ressalta-se a necessidade de os enfermeiros gerentes compreenderem a dualidade sofrimento e prazer na busca de um trabalho mais construtivo e realizador, por meio de maior articulacao da atividade gerencial, com a experiencia de vida, alem do respaldo institucional e apoio dos colegas de trabalho.Resumen This study aimed to analyze the factors of pleasure and suffering at work in nursing management in the hospital context. This is an exploratory-descriptive study with qualitative approach, which was used as a technique for collecting semi-structured interview. It was conducted in a university hospital and the data were analyzed using thematic analysis. The 19 nurses who participated in the study revealed that management is a source of pleasure when there is personal and professional growth, recognition and job satisfaction, and a source of suffering because of the difficulties of relationship with the team and work overload. It emphasizes the need for nurse-managers understand the duality suffering, and pleasure when seeking for a position more constructive and fulfilling, through greater coordination of management activity, with the experience of life, beyond the institutional backing and support from coworkers.

Contribuições de grupos de educação em saúde para o saber de pessoas com hipertensão

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo conocer como el conocimiento en salud se construye por personas con hipertension acompanadas por un equipo de salud de la familia. Se trata de una investigacion cualitativa, descriptiva realizada con nueve personas cuyos datos fueron recolectados a traves de entrevistas semiestructuradas y observacion. Los datos fueron trabajados con analisis tematico. La construccion del saber en salud es influenciada por diversos elementos del cotidiano de los sujetos. El dialogo y la convivencia con otras personas son elementos de mayor impacto en la construccion de este saber. Asi, el grupo de educacion en salud fue apuntado como espacio relevante, tanto por las explicaciones dadas por los profesionales, cuanto por el cambio de conocimientos y experiencias con los demas participantes. Se concluye que a pesar de vivenciar las mismas actividades pedagogicas, las repercusiones de las acciones de educacion en salud sean efectivas y percibidas diferentemente por los sujetos.This study investigated how the health knowledge is constructed by individuals with hypertension, accompanied by a team of family health. This is a qualitative descriptive study, conducted with nine individuals whose data were collected through semi-structured interviews and observation. The data was analyzed through thematic analysis. The construction of knowledge in health is influenced by many elements in the everyday life of the subjects. The dialogue and interaction with others are elements of greatest impact to build such knowledge. Thus, the health education group was pointed out as a relevant activity, both due to the explanations presented by the professionals, as well as the Exchange of knowledge and experiences with the other participants. It is concluded that although living the same pedagogical activities, the repercussions of the health education actions will take effect and will be noticed differently by the subjects.

CUIDADO DE ENFERMAGEM AOS USUÁRIOS COM ÚLCERAS VENOSAS

O presente estudo tem por finalidade refletir sobre a importância do conhecimento teorico, as habilidades e competencias exigidas no cuidado das pessoas com Ulcera Venosa (UV), com vistas a qualificar o cuidado de enfermagem. A assistencia de enfermagem visa um atendimento com avaliacao eficaz, orientacoes para o cuidado das feridas, principalmente no que diz respeito ao aparecimento e as recidivas de lesoes e acompanhamento progressivo da reparacao tecidual. Alem disso, o cuidado na enfermagem permeia a relacao de interacao entre o enfermeiro e o usuario, exigindo do profissional a sensibilidade no tocar, no olhar, no sentir e captar as emocoes de quem esta sendo cuidado. Conclui-se que a atuacao do enfermeiro ao cuidar do individuo com UV implica em planejar a assistencia de tal modo que o contexto socioeconomico e cultural seja integrante do processo de cuidar.

THE THERAPEUTIC JOURNEY OF PEOPLE WITH VENOUS ULCERS IN OUTPATIENT CARE

Se objetivo describir el itinerario terapeutico de personas con ulceras venosas en consulta externa. Investigacion cualitativa desarrollada en el periodo de enero a febrero de 2013, a traves de entrevistas semi-estructuradas con 14 personas con ulceras venosas en una clinica de consulta externa de un hospital publico en Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Despues del analisis de contenido de los datos se elaboraron las categorias: busqueda del Sector Popular, busqueda del Sector Folk y busqueda del Sector Profesional. A partir de como es identificado el origen de la ulcera venosa y la influencia del contexto sociocultural, las personas realizan diferente practicas de cuidado con frecuentes revisiones en busca de la curacion de la lesion. Se concluye que el itinerario terapeutico esta constituido por una pluralidad de caminos, donde los sectores populares y profesionales influyen fuertemente en la experiencia de la persona que vive ulcera venosa.

Personal pain relief strategies used by venous ulcer patients

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Pain is a common symptom in venous ulcer patients and should be controlled. Knowing the strategies used by patients and offering new pain control possibilities may be effective means to improve assistance. This study aimed at identifying personal pain relief strategies used by venous ulcer patients. METHODS: This is a qualitative research including 14 venous ulcer patients treated in the angiology ambulatory of a teaching hospital in the central region of Rio Grande do Sul. Data were collected in the months of January and February 2013 by means of semi-structured interviews and data were evaluated by content analysis. RESULTS: Strategies used by participants were: self-treatment, search for health service and religious support for pain relief. Reports suggest that patients have not received guidance with regard to venous ulcers pain management and tried to reach pain relief by their own methods. CONCLUSION: Participants of the study have reported using simple, however limited, strategies for pain relief, indicating a gap in the assistance offered to such patients.

ITINERÁRIO TERAPÊUTICO: TENDÊNCIA EM TESES E DISSERTAÇÕES DA ENFERMAGEM

It aimed to identify the trend about therapeutic itinerary in theses and dissertations presented in Nursing graduate programs of the Brazil. This is a narrative review realized in the Theses and Dissertations Database of Coordenacao de Aperfeicoamento Pessoal de Nivel Superior. In the data collection was used the term therapeutic itinerary, as subject, with option all words and out time period. It was found 84 studies which 17 abstracts were selected. From the analysis was identified the issues: Therapeutic itinerary of families and people with chronic health conditions; Aspects related to the emergence and disease management; Professional-user relationship and use of the health services; and Therapeutic itinerary and Nursing. The knowledge about the therapeutic itinerary enables a nursing practice closer to the reality of users of the health services. There was a qualitative trend and focusing socioanthropological. Saberes e práticas de pessoas com úlcera venosa em tratamento com bota de Unna

Aim: to describe the knowledge and practices of people with venous ulcers in treatment with Unna boot. Method: qualitative and descriptive research. It was developed in an angiology outpatient clinic of a university hospital inRio GrandedoSul,Brazil. The data collection occurred in October and November 2013 with eight people, through semi-structured interview, injury evaluation forms and medical records. It was used the thematic content analysis in data processing. Results: the knowledges were related to the circulatory cause and practices, with rest and the healing of venous ulcers. The Unna boot was mentioned as beneficial and facilitating treatment, although it can cause some discomfort. Conclusion: the interviewed patients reported to have awareness about the origin of the lesion, performed care practices to improve the venous return and the Unna boot was considered a beneficial treatment

Aspectos contextuais da assistência ao idoso com úlcera venosa

Aim: to analyse the contextual aspects that involve the care of elderly patients with venous ulcers. Method: theoretical and reflective study, from the context analysis framework, which presents four interactive aspects: Immediate Context, Specific, General and Metacontext. Results: in the Immediate Context, there was an approach of the elderly with venous ulcers and the search for the health professional; in the Specific Context, elements that influence in the care of the elderly with venous ulcers were described; in the General Context, aspects experienced by elderly patients with venous ulcers were considered; in Metacontext, the challenge of health professionals to promote comprehensive care to elderly with venous ulcers was discussed. Conclusion: physiological, psychological, cultural, social, economic and political aspects are involved in the care of elderly with venous ulcers, which is important for integral care to make such elderly corresposible for his own health.

História da Revista de Enfermagem da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria

Objective To report the history of the Journal of Nursing of the Federal University of Santa Maria. Method This is an experience report based on information from secondary materials, such as websites and documents. Data were grouped and presented according to the time sequence. Results The magazine was established in 2010 and in its six years of existence, the number of published articles increased from 58 to 75, it was approved for indexation in databases and obtained the Qualis B3. Actions were aimed at strengthening the journal, searching for financial resources, increasing disclosure, the number of reviewers and collaborators. Conclusions The magazines history involves several steps, which have been permeated by challenges and achievements that involve the search for the continuous strengthening of the journal and related publications.Objetivo: Relatar a historia da Revista de Enfermagem da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Metodo: Relato de experiencia, a partir de informacoes de materiais secundarios, como site e documentos. As informacoes foram agrupadas e apresentadas conforme a sequencia temporal. Resultados: A revista foi criada em 2010 e, nestes seis anos, houve um aumento no numero de artigos publicados de 58 para 75, a aprovacao para indexacao em bases de dados e a obtencao do Qualis B3. Foram desenvolvidas acoes direcionadas ao fortalecimento do periodico, como a busca de recursos financeiros, aumento da divulgacao, do numero de pareceristas e colaboradores. Conclusoes: A historia da revista envolve diversas etapas as quais tem sido permeadas por desafios e conquistas que implicam a busca pelo fortalecimento continuo do periodico e das publicacoes vinculadas.
