Os cuidados de enfermagem na percepção da criança hospitalizada

OBJECTIVEnto describe the perception of hospitalized children of school age, on nursing care and understand what are, from their perspective, the best ways to address it to when performing such care.nnnMETHODnqualitative, descriptive, exploratory research, with concepts of Vygotsky used as theoretical framework. The data collection occurred through interviews mediated by drawings and was performed with ten school children, with the interview later transcribed and submitted to a thematic analysis.nnnRESULTSnshowed the importance of playing during hospitalization, of a friendly and caring approach and providing explanations regarding the performed procedures.nnnCONCLUSIONnnursing professionals need to consider how the children would like to receive the care being provided, so that their singularities are respected, characterizing nursing actions according to a perspective of the whole human being.

Objective: To understand the meaning attributed by undergraduate nursing students to the teaching and practice of Therapeutic Play (TP) in the Undergraduate Program in Nursing. Methods: A qualitative research project held using Symbolic Interactionism. Participants were 17 nursing students from a public university. The importance of playing for hospitalized children with cancer in palliative care

ABSTRACT Objective : to identify the importance of playing in the palliative care of hospitalized children with cancer in the perception of the nursing team. Method : descriptive and qualitative research conducted with 11 health professionals in a public hospital in Rio de Janeiro. Semi-structured interviews and analyzed through thematic analysis were performed. Results : from the perspective of the nursing team, playing is important for the hospitalized child with cancer in palliative care having the closest to normal life, as it provides joy and well-being, in addition to promoting the interaction between him and the professional. Conclusion : it is necessary to play during the nursing care of children with cancer in palliative care since it helps the child to become more cheerful and promote his well-being, and be a more humanized care. RESUMO Objetivo: identificar a importância do brincar no cuidado paliativo de criancas com câncer hospitalizadas na percepcao da equipe de enfermagem. Metodo: pesquisa qualitativa descritiva, realizada com 11 profissionais de saude, em um hospital publico do Rio de Janeiro. Foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas e os dados analisados atraves da analise tematica. Resultados: na perspectiva da equipe de enfermagem, o brincar e importante para que a crianca com câncer hospitalizada em cuidado paliativo tenha a vida mais proxima do normal, uma vez que proporciona alegria e bem-estar, alem de favorecer a interacao entre ela e o profissional. Conclusao: faz-se necessaria a inclusao do brincar durante a assistencia de enfermagem a crianca com câncer em cuidados paliativos, visto que auxilia a crianca a ficar mais alegre e promove seu bem-estar, alem de tornar o cuidado mais humanizado. RESUMEN Objetivo: identificar la importancia de jugar en el cuidado paliativo de ninos con cancer hospitalizadas en la percepcion del equipo de enfermeria. Metodo: investigacion cualitativa descriptiva , realizada con 11 profesionales de salud , en un hospital publico de Rio de Janeiro. Fueron realizadas entrevistas semi-estructuradas y los datos analizados a traves de analisis tematico. Resultados: en la perspectiva del equipo de enfermeria, jugar es importante para que el nino con cancer hospitalizado en cuidado paliativo tenga la vida mas proxima de lo normal, una vez que proporciona alegria y bien estar, ademas de favorecer la interaccion entre ella y el profesional. Conclusion: se hace necesaria la inclusion de jugar durante la asistencia de enfermeria al nino con cancer en cuidados paliativos, ya que auxilia al nino a quedarse mas alegre y promueve su bien estar, ademas de tornar el cuidado mas humanizado.
