Integração ensino-trabalho-cidadania na formação de enfermeiros

This study aims to identify the conflicts found daily throughout the development of the specialization course Process of Change in Superior Education and Health Services. This descriptive qualitative study is a case study carried out at a private University Center in the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The subjects were 18 students from the specialization course, who spontaneously decided to participate in the study The data was collected in April 2009 and analyzed and described in five thematic units that describe the focus of conflicts in the world of the work: Integration among Education, Work and Citizenship; Team work; Permanent education, Social responsibility; Establishment of the care line. The intersection between the academic field and health services produces tensions and conflicts which are latent most of the time, but are never evident.O presente estudo tem como objetivo identificar os conflitos encontrados no cotidiano do trabalho no decorrer do curso de especializacao Processo de Mudanca no Ensino Superior e nos Servicos de Saude. Estudo qualitativo descritivo, tipo estudo de caso; o cenario foi um centro universitario privado situado no estado do Rio de Janeiro. Os sujeitos foram 18 estudantes do curso de especializacao, que se dispuseram espontaneamente a participar do estudo. A coleta de dados ocorreu em abril de 2009, os dados foram analisados e descritos em cinco unidades tematicas que descrevem os focos de conflitos no mundo do trabalho: A integracao ensino, trabalho e cidadania; O trabalho em equipe; A educacao permanente; A responsabilidade social; O estabelecimento da linha de cuidado. A intersecao entre a seara academica e os servicos de saude produz tensoes e conflitos, que na maioria das vezes estao latentes, mas nao manifestos.

O valor ético no ensino da enfermagem

Resumen El presente artículo es fruto de la Tesis, presentada a la Escuela de Enfermería Anna Nery, en la línea de investigación en Educación y Enfermería, enmarcada en la Teoria de Valor. La enfermería tiene un conjunto de valores de la cual se nutre para elaborar una escala. Objetivo: comprender el Valor Ético, en el discurso del enfermero-docente, frente al acto de educar y que transmite al ir educando, Discutido a la luz de los supuestos de Max Scheler. La metodologia es qualitativa, centrada en el enfoque fenomenológico. El marco del presente estudio fueron tres instituiciones de enseñaza superior de enfermería, ubicadas en la ciudad do Rio de Janeiro. El período de realización del estudio fue de agosto de 2007 a junio 2008. Resultados: el Valor Ético aparece en el discurso del enfermero-docente en el acto de educar como fundamento.. Conclusión: a través del discurso, el enfermero presenta el Valor Ético al educado , ratificándolo como parte integrante dela praxis asistencial de la enfermería. Palabras chaves: Educación. E-mail: [email protected] PESQUISA RESEARCH INVESTIGACIÓN The current ar ticle comes from the Thesis, presented to the Nursing School Anna Nery, following the line of a Research in Education and Nursing, based on the Value Theory. The nursing possess a group of values which nourishes itself to elaborate a scale. Objective: understand the Ethical Value, in the speech of the nurse-professor, focused to the act of educating, that he/ she transmits to the student and discuss it under the light of the assumptions of Max Scheler. The methodology is qualitative, focused in the phenomenological approach. The scenario has been three institutions of superior education in nursing, located in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The period of accomplishment was from August of 2007 to June of 2008. Results: Ethical value emerges in the speech of the nurse-professor in the act of educating as a foundation. Conclusion: by means of the speech the nurse presents Ethical value to the student, ratifying it as establishment for the assisting praxis of nursing. Key Word: Education. Nursing. Saberes práticos na formação do enfermeiro

The study, carried through with nurses at the University Hospital Pedro Ernesto, looked to reflect on practical knowledge in the formation of the nurse. In the construction of the theoretical referential, the contributions of Patricia Benner, Phillipe Perrenoud and Donald Shön have been very relevant. From a methodological point of view, it consisted of a case study, with a qualitative approach; from semi-structured interviews with nurses involved in assisting the patient. The findings demonstrate that the competences that support the professional exercise are built on practical knowledge, theoretical knowledge, life experience, and professional socialization.O estudo, realizado com enfermeiros do Hospital Universitario Pedro Ernesto, se propos a refletir sobre os saberes praticos, na formacao do enfermeiro. Na construcao do referencial teorico, foram muito relevantes as contribuicoes de Patricia Benner, Phillipe Perrenoud e Donald Shon. Do ponto de vista metodologico, constituiu-se de estudo de caso, com abordagem qualitativa; a partir de entrevistas semi-estruturadas com enfermeiros assistenciais. Os resultados demonstram que, as competencias que dao suporte ao exercicio profissional sao construidas a partir dos saberes praticos, dos conhecimentos teoricos, da experiencia de vida e da socializacao profissional.The study, carried through with nurses at the University Hospital Pedro Ernesto, looked to reflect on practical knowledge in the formation of the nurse. O valor verdade no ensino da enfermagem: um estudo fenomenológico

UNLABELLED This article is based on the value theory. Nursing possesses a set of values that are used to develop a scale that directs and justifies professional action. OBJECTIVE To understand the act of educating of the nurse-professor, the truth value and discuss it in light of Max Schelers assumptions. The methodology is qualitative,focusing on phenomenological approach. Study participants were seven nurses-teachers from three institutions of higher nursing education, located in the city of Rio de Janeiro. The study was conducted from May to June 2008. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed comprehensively. RESULT Truth emerged in the speech of the nurse-professor in the act of educating. FINAL THOUGHTS: It was through the act of educating that nurses presented the truth value to the student, ratifying it as the establishment of nursing assistance praxis.

The social value in nursing education

El presente articulo esta balizado en la Teoria de Valor. La enfermeria tiene un conjunto de valores el cual se nutre para elaborar una escala. OBJETIVO: comprender el valor social en el acto de educar del enfermero-docente y discutirlo a la luz de los supuestos de Max Scheler. La metodologia aplicada fue cualitativa, centrada en el enfoque fenomenologico. Los participantes fueron siete enfermeras docentes de tres instituciones de educacion superior en enfermeria ubicadas en la ciudad de Rio de Janeiro. El periodo de realizacion del estudio fue de agosto de 2007 a junio de 2008. Los datos fueron obtenidos por entrevistas. Se ha constatado que el valor social aparece en el acto de educar del enfermero-docente. Como conclusion, por medio del acto de educar el enfermero presenta el valor social al alumno, ratificandolo como parte integrante de la praxis asistencial de la enfermeria.

Social and pedagogical practice of the nurse-preceptor: a case study

Aim: To describe the pedagogical practice used by the nurse preceptor with the graduating nurse students. Method: Case study conducted in 2011, at Sao Francisco de Assis Hospital-School, whose subjects were 14 nurses/preceptors who mentored the students from the School of Nursing Anna Nery. Official documents and interviews were used to collect qualitative, descriptive data and the analysis was made into thematic categories. EEAN/HESFA protocol CEP number 114/2010. Results: The teaching actions occurred mainly in the nursing consultation and the preceptor barely took part in the planning and evaluation of student activities. There was a concern regarding the service organization and distribution of the number of students per sector. Discussion: The relationship of power and the political dimension in the social practice of the subject, as well as the dichotomy between theory and practice. Conclusion: The nurse preceptor did not participate in all of the constituent steps of pedagogical practice, but conducted activities requiring such participation.

QUALIFICATION OF NURSES FOR CARE TO CHILD VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

ABSTRACT Objective: To identify the existing literature that addresses nursing care to children victims of domestic violence. We chose a descriptive qualitative bibliographical type approach. A virtual library search (SciELO, BIREME, LILACS), a scientific review (Revista Brasileira de Enfermagem, Revista Nursing, RADIS Comunicacao em Saude, Revista Adolescer, Revista Eletronica de Enfermagem) and a review of the existing legislation, were held; 99 articles in the period 2001 to 2010 which met the search criteria were found. With this observation, we conclude that it is necessary to update nurses from emergency units of general hospitals on the issue of domestic violence and child abuse, in order to reduce the negligence regarding compulsory notification and minimizing the recurrence of acts of aggression. A CONTRIBUIÇÃO DE IMRE LAKATOS PARA A ANÁLISE EPISTEMOLÓGICA DO PROGRAMA BRASILEIRO DE PÓS-GRADUAÇÃO EM ENFERMAGEM

Objective: to present the theoretical perspective of Imre Lakatos, from its Methodology of Scientific Research Programs, and its epistemological evaluation of the Brazilian Postgraduate Nursing Program. Method: It is a reflexive analysis, organized into three sections, with the following question: Can the theoretical-philosophical proposition by Imre Lakatos contribute to assess to the Brazilian Postgraduate Nursing Program? Discussion: It is assumed that nursing care as a theoretical hypothesis; it presents the basic elements of lakatosian program: the hard core, the protective belt, negative and positive heuristics and its application for evaluation of Brazilian Postgraduate Nursing Program. Program researchers must define and establish the lakatosian basic elements. After 43 years of the creation of the stricto sensu postgraduate programs in Brazil, a critical analysis of its epistemological foundation is necessary. Conclusion: the amplification of the evaluation process from the link between quantitative and philosophical in order to judge the Nursing Science is recommended.
