Criança com HIV/AIDS: percepção do tratamento antirretroviral

This article presents a cutting from the multicentric study carried out in the municipalities of Porto Alegre and Santa Maria/ RS with the objective of unveiling the perception and the life experience of the child regarding the antiretroviral treatment. With qualitative approach, the study was carried out with seven children of five to ten years of age, in the period from 2006 to 2010, after approval by Committee National for Ethics in research and the Committees of Ethics in research. Based on the thematic analysis was obtained the results: the day-to-day life of the child with medicines; the family care upon the adhesion to the antiretroviral treatment; the professional care:perception of children with infection. Observation showed that the children face adversities, know and appreciate the treatment in spite of the paradoxical movement of rejection/acceptance expressed by the fight against the syndrome.Neste artigo, faz-se um recorte do estudo multicentrico, realizado nos municipios de Porto Alegre e Santa Maria/ RS, com o objetivo de desvelar a percepcao e a vivencia da crianca quanto ao tratamento antirretroviral. Com abordagem qualitativa, o estudo foi realizado com sete criancas, com idade entre cinco e 10 anos de idade, no periodo de 2006 a 2010, apos aprovacao pela Comissao Nacional de Etica em Pesquisa e pelos Comites de Etica em pesquisa. A partir da analise tematica, foram obtidos os resultados: Cotidiano medicamentoso da crianca; Cuidado familial na adesao ao tratamento antirretroviral; Cuidado Profissional: percepcao da crianca com a infeccao. Observou-se que as criancas enfrentam adversidades, conhecem e valorizam o tratamento apesar do movimento paradoxal de rejeicao/aceitacao manifestados pela luta contra a sindrome.

O cotidiano do adolescente que tem HIV/AIDS: impessoalidade e disposição ao temor

This phenomenological investigation aimed to understand the therapeutic routine of adolescents with HIV/AIDS. Sixteen adolescents between 13 and 19 years of age, assisted by the health service and aware of their diagnosis were interviewed, between December of 2009 and May of 2010, in the University Hospital of Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Their statements, which were analyzed in the light of Heidegger, revealed that the being-adolescent is presented as a being-with-in-the-world through the impersonality of the characteristics of adolescence and the occupation with activities of the daily living. In face of having HIV/AIDS, they fear that, besides their family, other people might learn about their disease, due to prejudice. This comprehensive perspective allowed the possibility of a nursing care based on an attentive approach to the pluralities and singularities in the daily living, and mediated by the dialogue with the being-adolescent and its family, in order to make this being the leading figure in its permanent care. O silêncio no cotidiano do adolescente com HIV/AIDS

This study is characterized as a qualitative research with the objective of unveiling the perception and experience regarding the antiretroviral treatment of the adolescent with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. The research was carried out within reference health care centers in two municipalities from the southern region of Brazil. The data production was developed through the creativity and sensitiveness dynamics of talking map type by a group of five participants. One applied the technique of content thematic analysis. The artistic productions and testimonies evidenced their daily experience with use of medications and the silence on the diagnosis of the disease and its treatment that implies the health care. The conclusion drawn is that the involvement of health professionals is needed since it opens spaces for the family besides promoting the dialogue of its members with the adolescent aiming at the adhesion to the treatment.This study is characterized as a qualitative research with the objective of unveiling the perception and experience regarding the antiretroviral treatment of the adolescent with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. Graduate program in nursing at the Federal University of Santa Maria: trajectory and results

A quantitative, descriptive, exploratory study based on documentation that aims to report the history of the Graduate Program in Nursing (PPGENF), Federal University of Santa Maria according to the national scenario. The data was collected through queries to different sites on the Internet and secretary of PPGENE. The program was created in 2006, and in the first triennium there has been an increase in the number of vacancies and candidates, and concentration of the publications was given in qualis B1 and A2. Actions have been developed such as discussions, seminars, conferences and workshops aimed at strengthening the program and subsequent integration of faculty/student, academic and professional nursing. This program is contributing to the expansion and strengthening of nursing in the Rio Grande as its egresses are inserted in institutions of higher education, or PhD in health care public and private.Estudo quantitativo, descritivo, exploratorio, em base documental, tendo como objetivo relatar a historia e trajetoria do Programa de Pos-graduacao em Enfermagem (PPGENF) da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, de acordo com o panorama nacional. Os dados foram obtidos por meio de consultas a diferentes sites na internet e secretaria do PPGENF. O programa foi criado em 2006, sendo que, no primeiro trienio, houve uma ampliacao no numero de vagas e candidatos, e a concentracao das publicacoes ocorreu nos Qualis B1 e A2. Foram desenvolvidas acoes, como rodas de conversa, seminarios, jornadas e workshops, direcionadas ao fortalecimento do programa para a integracao de docentes/discentes, academicos e profissionais de Enfermagem. Este programa esta contribuindo para a expansao e o fortalecimento da Enfermagem no Rio Grande do Sul, na medida em que seus egressos estao inseridos em instituicoes de ensino superior, em doutoramento ou, ainda, em instituicoes de saude publicas e privadas.

Visibilidade e internacionalização da Revista Gaúcha de Enfermagem: perspectivas e desafios

E notorio nos ultimos anos o movimento dos periodicos cientificos brasileiros em busca de visibilidade e internacionalizacao. Tema que de modo continuo tem centrado as discussoes dos foruns de editores cientificos congregando diferentes disciplinas do conhecimento (1) . Estas tem sido focadas, dentre outros aspectos, em como promover o impacto internacional da producao cientifica brasileira considerando a abrangencia e relevância nacional e internacional das pesquisas e consequente consumo e ou aplicacao dos achados na pratica. Os debates se acentuam na importância do desenvolvimento tecnologico apontar para inovacoes ao se produzir ciencia no Brasil, de modo a atender as necessidades reais e potenciais da populacao, mas tambem produzir tecnologias que impactem positivamente nas condicoes sociais e economicas do pais (2) . Contudo, com o alerta aos pesquisadores para considerarem os problemas externos a realidade nacional, aspectos que poderao dar visibilidade as tecnologias inovadoras aqui produzidas e consequente exportacao. O fator de impacto das revistas, a qualidade dos editores e pareceristas ou consultores, o processo de avaliacao dos manuscritos ( peer review ), a dificuldade de se publicar em periodicos de alto impacto, os criterios de avaliacao pelos orgaos de fomento para a classificacao dos periodicos, a profissionalizacao e o financiamento das revistas constituem temas em continuas discussoes (3,4) . Liderados pela Associacao Brasileira de Enfermagem – ABEN os periodicos cientificos da enfermagem brasileira coparticipes deste movimento, na ordem do dia de suas agendas, tem chamado a discussao seus editores de modo a pensar e a implantar estrategias que possam sanar estas e outras dificuldades, que constituem grandes desafios para a area. Imersa neste grande projeto desafiador, se revela a Revista Gaucha de Enfermagem- RGE que desde 1976 tem divulgado a producao dos enfermeiros pesquisadores no cenario brasileiro e latino americano ininterruptamente. Ao longo de sua historia vem adequando seus processos de editoracao, de modo a atender as exigencias do mercado de publicacoes cientificas da enfermagem e da saude em geral, no que se refere ao gerenciamento com qualidade do seu principal produto, qual seja o manuscrito a ela submetido e seu autor pela confianca depositada na RGE. Recentemente a RGE, Qualis B1 CAPES, por solicitacao da SciELO Brasil, para fins de avaliacao de sua permanencia nesta base de dados, elaborou o Relatorio de Desempenho Anual referente ao ano de 2012. Este estruturado em informacoes quantitativas e qualitativas inerentes a natureza da RGE considerando as diferentes dimensoes dos processos editoriais evidenciou os seus avancos. O fluxograma dos manuscritos desde sua submissao ate seu aceite e publicacao tornou-se mais agil e qualificado na medida em que foram criadas as figuras e definidas atribuicoes dos editores de submissao (01), de areas (06) e comissao editorial (04). Tambem se profissionalizou a equipe tecnica com a contratacao de um bibliotecario especifico para a RGE e se buscou na comunidade parcerias visando a profissionalizacao dos processos de editoracao, diagramacao, traducao e de impressao. Foram revisadas as normas de publicacao com enfoque no processo de avaliacao do manuscrito por peer review . Esta constatacao soma-se aos indices bibliometricos que identificam a RGE no universo dos periodicos de enfermagem brasileiro como um dos eleitos pelos pesquisadores para divulgacao de suas producoes. Ao longo de 2012 foram submetidos 1262 manuscritos, destes 466 foram aceitos para publicacao, 592 foram recusados e 200 nao retornaram dos autores apos solicitacoes de reformulacoes e ou de outras informacoes, sendo entao arquivados. O intervalo medio entre submissao e avaliacao do manuscrito foi de 9,9 meses e o intervalo medio entre o aceite e sua publicacao foi de 8,5 meses, estas metricas estao em consonância com os orgaos avaliadores que preconizam um periodo de um ano para os trâmites do manuscrito ao longo do seu processo de avaliacao ate a sua publicacao. O volume 33 da RGE em seus quatro fasciculos publicou 81 artigos originais, duas revisoes sistematicas e 17 outros tipos de producoes entre artigos de revisao teorica e relato de experiencia. Os 100 manuscritos publicados tiveram a autoria de 341 autores. A RGE conta com a colaboracao de 259 revisores ad hoc especialistas distribuidos geograficamente no territorio nacional. A publicacao online da primeira versao em idioma ingles, alem da em idioma portugues, do volume 33 fasciculo 4, xa0na base de dados SciELO Brasil e sem duvida um avanco qualitativo expressivo da RGE, fato que registra o continuo compromisso com a divulgacao e visibilidade xa0da producao cientifica da enfermagem brasileira. Com estes dados a RGE poderia dar por cumprida sua missao. Contudo os indices de recusa 62,75% dos manuscritos e um grande desafio a ser enfrentado a exemplo de outros periodicos de enfermagem. No processo de avaliacao se constatam fragilidades dos manuscritos no que se refere a: inadequacao do desenho metodologico, carencia de fundamentacao teorica, tematica de investigacao irrelevantes para a pratica profissional, evidencias de resultados e conclusoes que nao contribuem para o estado da arte e consequente desenvolvimento do conhecimento especifico da enfermagem, a inadequacao as normas de redacao cientifica e as normas de publicacao da RGE. Estes sao aspectos que merecem ser discutidos e encaminhados nos foruns de editores em conjunto com docentes dos programas de po-graduacao em enfermagem, que e por excelencia o ambiente academico em que a producao de pesquisas clinicas assume caracter essencial para a enfermagem e como tal tem a responsabilidade no preparo de jovens pesquisadores no ato de consumir, produzir e divulgar o conhecimento produzido. Neste cenario se visualiza as perspectivas da RGE em direcao a consolidacao de sua visibilidade e internacionalizacao para alem da America Latina e o desafio de contribuir e continuar a buscar solucoes inerentes a sua natureza o que certamente exigira muita dedicacao e compromisso de todos os que a fazem acontecer. The artistic productions and testimonies evidenced their daily experience with use of medications and the silence on the diagnosis of the disease and its treatment that implies the health care. The conclusion drawn is that the involvement of health professionals is needed since it opens spaces for the family besides promoting the dialogue of its members with the adolescent aiming at the adhesion to the treatment.This study is characterized as a qualitative research with the objective of unveiling the perception and experience regarding the antiretroviral treatment of the adolescent with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. The research was carried out within reference health care centers in two municipalities from the southern region of Brazil. The data production was developed through the creativity and sensitiveness dynamics of talking map type by a group of five participants. One applied the technique of content thematic analysis. The artistic productions and testimonies evidenced their daily experience with use of medications and the silence on the diagnosis of the disease and its treatment that implies the health care. The conclusion drawn is that the involvement of health professionals is needed since it opens spaces for the family besides promoting the dialogue of its members with the adolescent aiming at the adhesion to the treatment.
